“I had a great experience working with Atlas. I first reached out to them for an estimate on repairs after I had water damage. Ruben helped price out what it would be for just repairs and what it would cost if I wanted to do additional renovations, which I ended up doing. Everyone I worked with was really great, from those doing the work in my house (especially Ronald) to the office staff handling billing. All in all, they repaired drywall/texture, repainted the interior of the house, fixed recessed lighting that had been damaged, remodeled my bathroom completely (floor tile, wall tile, new bathtub, vanity, lighting, etc.), and sanded and repainted my kitchen cabinets. Living at home during construction is a pain no matter what, but they made it as easy as it could be. I would recommend them and work with them in the future.”

“Great experience, high value, very reliable and best crew we ever worked with. Mayer’s construction did a home remodeling for us during the last 6 months. It has been a big home remodel for us that took design and build as well. After months spending finding the right company for us, we have choose to work with Mike & Nathan Mayer from Mayer’s construction. A week after finalizing contract we started working with Su & Luis both company’s architect and engineer. We worked on the new plans we agreed and wanted at first and started to have architect drawings ready, when we got into engineering process, both Mayer’s construction and us didn’t know we were suppose to redone so much of the existing footings and reinforce of additional walls as 20 years ago we did a 2nd story addition that was probably made poorly and unprofessional. They were extremely kind and helpful and kept the price as we agreed on and didn’t changed a thing. The plan process and measurements took about a month or so, and finally we were able to submit the plans to the city of San Jose. After getting the permits done and job card set ( overall 5 months of waiting / SJ is a pretty busy city) we got into work schedule and been ready to move out as the entire home going to be demolished. Mike was very organized both managing and scheduling the team, rough materials arrivals, and to us to be fully briefed with details and what we need and when. The process of work was great and on timeline , city did changed a lot during this time period with their inspection delays but it didn’t interrupt with our schedule or timeline due to great management ahead. We just finished our work and we absolutely in love with our new home! New flooring throughout, new kitchen, new bathrooms, complete open floor plan, new stair case, new rooms reconfigured, new paint, new texture, new windows and sliding doors throughout, all new plumbing and electrical. A brand new and beautiful home we got thanks to Mayer’s construction and the team, Mike, Nathan, Raul, Jose and many more who had a added value and did this work absolute best.”

“We hired Century Bay Builders to remodel 3 bathrooms and a laundry room. I was impressed with them right off the bat - the office called to confirm my appointment for an estimate and our awesome project manager Ariel arrived on time and was very professional, thorough, detail-oriented, and had a good sense of humor (very important when doing any remodel!). He was very responsive to emails and texts and always reassuring when issues came up. His crew (Carlos, Fredy, and Marcos) were courteous, meticulous, and did beautiful work. We were especially amazed at how quickly and cleanly the demo went and appreciative that they kept the dust to a minimum since we were living in the house during the remodel. Everyone always checked with me regularly to make sure I was happy with everything. The finished bathrooms are magazine-worthy and we couldn't be happier. When I'm ready to do my next project I'll be happy to work with Ariel and Century Bay Builders again.”

“Tony and his team did an excellent job . They expanded my master bedroom including the bathroom and a walk in closet. I am not the easiest customer. I had so many questions, and Tony was patient with me every step of the way. They were very thorough and competitive. They were constantly updating me and going over the process . The entire experience was great!! Always on time with a great attitude. I want to say that I worked with a few general contractors over the years and it is difficult to find a good one that actually keeps you updated. The quality of work was A+ and I would recommend them to anyone that wants exceptional work at affordable pricing. I never had to worry about them. We went through everything I wanted and it all came out beautifully. They are very knowledgeable and thorough. One thing I loved is they cleaned up their work area every day when they were finished. You can't go wrong with this company. We also had the pleasure to work with Brenda and she was able to help us with any questions we had it didn’t matter what time or day it was! “We hired Clever Design and Remodeling to remodel our kitchen in our condo. We had met with two other contracting companies and we were given a similar quote as Clever but to be honest, meeting with Gilli gave me a totally different level of confidence than meeting with the others. We replaced most of the carpeting in our home with European Oak wood flooring which is beautiful. We also had the kitchen cabinets refinished and a new stainless steel over the range microwave installed as well as coordinating new sink fixtures and all new cabinet hardware. Recessed lighting was installed in the living room, kitchen, and master bath with necessary patching and all ceilings painted. Roy was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the project -plumbing, electrical, carpentry- displaying true craftsmanship in his work. Gilli was great to work with, she is very detail oriented and he and his team always left our house and the common areas in the condo building extremely clean (cleaner than it was originally, honestly). The Clever Design and Remodeling team really went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and happy with the work. Strongly recommended!!!!”

“Hi :) my name is Annabelle and we are from Sunnyvale California, I just finished a new renovation, and I would like to share with you guys my wonderful experience, we started the process with a lot of fears because of previous experience that we had with another contractor two years ago, from the first meeting with Asi, me and my husband felt the honesty and integrity right away, we describe to her what we would like to achieve in our kitchen remodeling project and together with ideas that came from her designer we decided on the final layout, We needed a new kitchen renovation for our home ASAP, we are all working from home, my husband and I and our older daughter, and the kitchen became much more important, it was very surprising but we succeeded to pass all the inspections on time, The communication part was great, personally I preferred to communicate with Asi directly but they are working with a personal online portal that some people will find useful, we needed a few times that Asi will come to us to discuss on a few changes and we always felt comfortable to share with her our concerns and ideas, and eventually we are very satisfied from the end result!”

“We hired Mac to do a remodel and addition on our home in the summer of 2014. He and his team were a pleasure to work with and were on-time and on budget. This was extremely important to my wife and me because we were pregnant with our 4th child, so time was of the essence. Despite the pressure, Mac handled the project like a champ and he made everything as stress-free and seamless as possible. The scope of our project was a 600 sqft addition, kitchen, powder room, master bathroom, master bedroom, living room, great room, walk-in closet, front facade and walkways. Basically half of our house was completely torn down, and we added some more space for our growing family. Now, I wish the other half of our house was torn down and matched the excellent work Mac, Krystian, and their crew did. We plan on renovating that part of the house as well, and plan on hiring DMD General Construction to do the job when we do. In the meantime we have, however, hired DMD for some other smaller projects on two other properties, which we are very satisfied with as well, and we have also referred them to some of our friends and neighbors who are extremely happy with their finished products too. Also, in working with the vendors that Mac recommended, we found many people love working with him and give him a better contractor's discount than other companies. Most other GC firms will take these contractor discounts as their profits, but DMD passes these cost savings to their clients. This makes a huge difference, especially since good quality finishes and fixtures can add a significant amount to your project. We interviewed and met with several contractors and we couldn't have made a better choice. Mac is very HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, FAIR, and easy to work with. Bottom line is that I would definitely hire Mac and the DMD crew again, I have and will continue to refer him to my friends and family, and I am extremely happy with the work that they did on our home.”
