I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased Star Mark cabinets. The quality of the cabinet doors is substandard, customer service is poor and the durability is not good. About 3-4 years after they were installed, the paint started to chip and peel and they especially do not hold up to the humidity of a kitchen environment. For the price point of these cabinets, I feel there are probably better quality options available.

I would avoid Starmark Cabinetry. The build quality of these cabinets is marginal at best. I was quoted 3-5 week delivery. 7 weeks later they finally arrived. Upon inspection it was found one of the doors was warped so bad it wouldn’t close. One door had a large crack in it that was clearly present prior to finish application on the food as the crack is filled with finish. One cabinet had a large chunk of wood missing on the face frames that was clearly like that prior to finishing as it had finish in the broken wood. Had multiple cabinets out of square one so bad there was no way to install it. Had multiple face frames that were warped enough to see by eye. Multiple face frames cut not square. Also here we wait for replacement cabinets 10 weeks after initial order with no information as to when they will arrive. I have installed other cabinets that cost half as much and were of twice the build quality

There are quality issues with their cabinets particularly the paint finish. We have a damaged cabinet we have attempted to get resolved for almost two years and have been waiting on 2 door front replacements since early 2022. It's a joke. They do not honor their warranty and play a game where they refer you back to a non-responsive regional rep. Worst experience with this company!

These just look good but they are not to be purchased if you plan on cooking or even using your sink as the humidity goes beyond 30 -55%. Electric kettle, boiling water etc raises the humidity and ventilation won’t help. These should come with warning that a dehumidifier is needed to maintain warranty. The panels used on the doors and drawers are cheap ( compressed paper?) and easily swell when placed in a kitchen that sees any kind of usage. What kitchen maintains a humidity level of 30-55%? Even Nature is not that accomodating. Utterly disappointed with the quality of materials used in making these. Extraordinarily disappointing.

I started a cabinet replacement project in May. Nothing fancy, no new kitchen design. It took a LONG time and a lot of frustration to get the cabinets in and fix mis-orders and defects. Now that we are near the end of the project and have a kitchen again, we can appreciate the good quality. They are nice cabinets if you can take the pandemic related delays and issues.

I have the worst experience dealing with this company, still waiting for cabinets that I ordered 5 months ago. A lot of parts are on “back order” Starting from sending the wrong panels and orders to over charge for any little filler or paint that we need extra on the job. $1300 for a gallon of paint Expedite order fee $300 plus shipping. They will take advantage of you because you want to finish the job. Bad finish, a door with 2 different panels Do you’re self a favor and Stay-away.

As a kitchen designer, I specify quite a few different brands of cabinets. I can say with certainty that Starmark cabinets are by far one of my favorite brands. I think the quality of the cabinets is first class. I rarely have something come damaged and if it does, my dealer contacts customer service and they respond immediately. Starmark offers a product that is top notch in value, quality and customer service. I also like the fact that although Starmark is a semi-custom line of cabinets they will work with you on customizing something so that you get the end result you want. They offer a wide range of finish options. And I love that I can purchase the paint / stain for my client. And on a personal note, I have these cabinets in my kitchen and I love them!

We have used Starmark in many different projects and the outcome is always gorgeous. The customer service is incredible! I highly recommend Starmark for any kitchen, bath, or other home project!

We just built a new house and had StarMark cabinets installed. They look great! We chose a Villa maple finish in the kitchen and laundry and rustic alder throughout the rest of the house. The construction is very sturdy and the deep drawers have a lot of storage space. We are very pleased with our purchase and would recommend this cabinet company.

Terrible customer service! Cabinet for the kitchen sink had part of the front fall off. They were supposed to send the parts to fix it three weeks ago. Haven't received them yet. Also can't get Builders Choice out of Rapid City where I bought the cabinets to send someone down to fix it! Poor customer service and they don't stand behind their products!
