I hired Stellar to finish my basement which included a large entertainment room with a custom bar, home office, exercise room, full bath and more.... The team did an excellent job, met timelines, provided great attention to detail, strong project management and communication. This work covered a lot of skill sets from carpentry, floors, tiles, heating/cooling, electric, painting and more... The lead (Jesse) was great and I fully trusted his work, recommendations, and follow-up. I highly recommend Stellar for home improvement.

Our second project with Stellar! The first was an entire kitchen /family room remodel about 9 years ago. Our kitchen still looks brand new and we still love it as much as the day it was completed. Our second project was to add a large floor to celling cabinet with pull out shelves where a kitchen desk and cabinet had been. From day one on both projects Stellar worked closely with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and within the planned budget. Stellar is a fantastic company to work with and has the expertise help you to plan your project. Even if you are not exactly sure what you want, Stellar’s designers will help you to pull it all together. Their personnel are very considerate and respectful to the homeowners. I give Stellar 5 stars and have no hesitation in recommending them!

Stellar Remodeling is awesome! From the first phone call to the final walk through, everyone at Stellar was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. For my remodeling project Stellar painted the entire townhouse. Before that could be done, there were several walls that needed to be repaired. The transformation was amazing. Stellar installed a 220 line because at my age I don’t want to learn how to cook with gas. The coffee-stained Formica countertop is now granite and the bathtub is a shower with grab bars. We hired Stellar to convert a bathroom tub area into a tiled walk in shower. We were very pleased with the result, the quality of the work and their ability to deliver on schedule. We intend to work with Stellar again and would highly recommend them.

Not only was Stellar the right choice for a full re-design and construction of our kitchen re-imagine, their continuing support after installation, as we learn our new space, has been full, friendly, and prompt. Top marks on all aspects.

We needed to update our upstairs guest bathroom, i.e.. replace the 22 year old child-size toilet and vanity as well as the plastic shower/bathtub. Stellar's proposal exceeded our thoughts. The craftsmanship of their staff was superior. The quality of the materials they worked with was exceptional. They showed up on time and accomplished their work in a timely manner, finishing on schedule and within budget. We are greatly satisfied with our renovated bathroom.

The Stellar team was great to work with and extremely knowledgeable. They helped us from the design phase, procurement and the installation and did a quality job in each phase. Stellar Remodeling did a superb job on our recent project. We remodeled our kitchen and two bathrooms. The processes was very easy, the price reasonable, and the work was completed quickly. The most positive aspect of the work is that all aspects of the remodeling are internal to Stellar (electrical, plumbing, dry-wall, painting), so we did not need to schedule with anyone else. The only external portion was the delivery and installation of our induction stove. Stellar set all the conditions for that installation, including putting in the larger capacity power for the new stove. I was incredibly impressed with the work crew, who daily ensured the site was cleaned up, and they were in constant communication ensuring they understood any concerns I had. Additionally, they ensured that I was not overly inconvenienced, especially while the kitchen was being worked on. Stellar has my highest recommendation, and we will definitely use them in the future!

Stellar recently helped us with our main staircase. It had the most annoying squeaking noise and was in bad need of repair, refinishing and new banisters and handrails. The squeak is gone (YAY!) and the staircase is beautiful! We look forward to working with Stellar again!

We hired Stellar to redo our master bath after a good experience several years ago when they redid our kitchen. They did an excellent job once again. They were extremely helpful in designing what we wanted and performed the work in a timely and professional manner. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. My husband and I just completed a kitchen remodel with Stellar. I can not rate their team highly enough. Their partners (flooring, appliances, and contractors) are of the highest caliber and so professional. The quality of the products are excellent. Would definitely do this again (in a few years!)

I couldn’t be happier with the final project. My screened porch looks beautiful and I will enjoy it for many years to come. However, there were a couple of bumps along the way. Communication between my expectations and what was planned could have been better. You should be very explicit when discussing finishes and clarifying the amount of time needed to complete the project. The Stellar personnel were wonderful to work with. When I had an issue the response was immediate and completed to my satisfaction. As I said earlier I am very happy with the final product.

We had a tub to walk in shower conversion. The construction crews were very professional and matriculate in their work. All materials are off top quality. I only wish I had done this 2 years ago , we love it.

I highly recommend Stellar Remodeling and Design. They took an itty bitty old-fashioned bathroom and transformed it into something truly beautiful, innovative, and much more functional. We had a primary suite - bedroom walk-in closet and bathroom added to the empty space in our 3-story garage. It was a 2-story high attached garage space with a bonus room on the third floor level. Design phase started in January 2021, construction started in June and was completed in October. The design phase was a haphazard shambles. Rodney could never seem to remember what he’d told us or seen or done and had to be reminded to send requested items. He was very nice, so I hope that this was not signs of early onset Alzheimer’s. It was quite frustrating and I’m glad Nathan was there to back him up. I was glad when we got through design as the project was then turned over to Ryan. We had used Stellar seven years earlier for a primary suite bathroom remodel and loved their work. Ryan had worked that project so I was hoping for the same experience. Nothing could have been farther from what we experienced. Ryan never showed up on time. This wouldn’t normally have been a problem as he had some reliable workers who needed no supervision. But, he hired a crew of two, whose work he did not know, to do the drywall. By 12:30 they had made the biggest mess I have ever seen. Lucky for us the work and mess were all in the garage behind a closed door. I came downstairs from my office for lunch and heard a radio blaring from behind that closed door. Ryan showed up a few minutes later and the radio was immediately turned down. I didn’t see the mess until after I finished working that day. Ryan was extremely apologetic and explained that he had never used these guys before but due to the pandemic he was short staffed and decided to give them a try. The drywall looked as if these guys had cut it with their teeth! There were gaps as much as an inch wide in what should have been seams. Of course that would be the only job they ever got from Ryan. His finishing guy was livid and had to do what was probably 2-3 times more work. Even so, once we moved in we noticed visible seams and even a crack. Jim came out to look at the crack and seams and said it is due to settling. Since the job includes one follow up visit within two years, he advised waiting another 18 months so that everything that needs fixing will have shown up for that one visit. The original due date was end of July. We ordered furniture from three different stores for a mid- to late August delivery. The first time the date slid, we rearranged those delivery dates. The second time the date slid we had already scheduled one for after that date and only had to deal with the other two. But they didn’t make that date either so we covered our new bed with plastic while they finished up the last couple items. I kept emphasizing that we were not in a rush for the project to be completed and we only wanted a realistic completion date so that we could arrange the deliveries. It became obvious that Ryan needed to have the project done because he needed his crew on other projects. I would have been fine with a much later completion date with the A-team working my project between other jobs. This was an addition for which there was no urgency. I just wanted the same quality that I received before. The quality is pretty good. The process definitely good have been better.

Committing to a significant size project during the heigh of Covid might have been challenging for some but not Stellar. They kept us informed of any delays weekly (if not daily). Their scope of work for our project required complete removal of a sunroom and then an addition to that same area. This along with a complete kitchen (gut) remodel. This project in basic terms was a complete rebuild of 1/2 of my home. Stellar was always professional and respected our needs during this project. Their team members became like family members to us, they worked hard and efficiently. We also had a laugh or two along the way. The end result of our project was nothing short of AMAZING. We love it as does everyone that has visited. Any future projects for us will certainly be done by Stellar!

Their work was well done with attention to detail and to our desires. It was fun to work with Rodney and the teams be to see our plans become reality.

My wife and I discovered that one of the outside corners of a cantilevered area off our third floor master bedroom (known as the treehouse as it protruded into a mature tree) was sagging. We contracted with Stellar to fix the problem. Once the work began it was quickly discovered that the defect (and therefore the fix) was significantly more complex than anticipated, and that there had been water intrusion resulting in black mold. As the work progressed we were kept fully informed of the problem, its causation, and the proposed cure. It took 7-8 weeks and a lot of steel, but in the end my wife and I couldn't have been more pleased. Communication was outstanding, the crew kept the work site clean, the impact on the tress and landscaped beds was minimal, and the end product exceeded our expectations.

I'm so glad I chose Stellar for my kitchen and bath remodeling projects. Jim had great suggestions for opening up the kitchen that I absolutely love! What a difference in flow and functionality. The bathroom, tiny as it is, also turned out great thanks to helpful input and guidance from the foreman and crew. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional or better group to work with. From the initial consultation to the final walk through, Jim and his team listened, asked clarifying questions and made the construction process as easy as possible. Our start date was at the height of COVID and quarantine; the guys made us feel comfortable and safe. Stellar had done wonderful work in our kitchen 4 years ago, so it was an easy decision for us to go directly to Jim to discuss the renovation of a 21 year old (builder grade) bathroom. After an in-home visit, we discussed with Jim what we envisioned. Jim came back with a comprehensive design plan and it was clear he heard everything we discussed. Even during this very trying time, Jim and his team delivered a beautiful bathroom with professionalism, respect for our distancing and even Clorox wiped all doors and knobs each day touched during the project. We recently had Stellar remodel our master bath, including a new stone tiled shower, ventilation, pocket door, plumbing and electrical. We LOVE our new shower!!! We used Stellar for our kitchen remodel. This was our first remodeling project and we were so pleased at how well it went. The crew were very neat and polite and tried hard to ensure our home and kitchen-in-transition was useable to some degree throughout the project. My project was a total master bath remodel. I needed to reconfigure my bathroom to allow me to age in my home comfortably. I wanted a remodeler who could handle the project from start to finish. I found the perfect fit with Stellar Remodeling. They designed the space perfectly and took care of ordering everything to complete the job. I did not have to run all over town looking for materials. The tradesmen worked everyday and cleaned up after themselves everyday. They were very careful to keep my space as clean as possible during construction. Stellar was so fantastic to work with for our kitchen renovation! They made a very big project easy and super manageable! I had a basic idea what I wanted for the new kitchen, but Stellar used an amazing 3D program to show me more possibilities and the finished project was better than I could have imagined! I have two little boys and was worried about having a crew in my house with a mess for weeks. Not the case at all!! Stellar made the whole renovation absolutely painless and actually fun! They contained all the renovation mess and we barely knew they were there. Came in and out very quietly and kept very consistent hours so I could continue my life as usual. Stellar fixed any problems before I could even bring them up! The whole project was completed just as discussed with no surprises. The whole process was so easy and we liked Stellar so much we had them come back just a few weeks later to build a mudroom for us! I cannot recommend Stellar highly enough! My most recent home improvements were the third large project Jim and his creative and construction team have done for us, this time a laundry list of major repairs, a cedar pergola, and a new bathtub and shower. They are professional and trustworthy in every regard. We have lived with work Jim did fifteen years ago and are as satisfied now as we were the day he finished. Stellar Remodeling and Design did a complete kitchen remodel for us and we could not be happier with the results! We met with the owner, Jim Boskett; told him our budget ($25,000) and he created a beautiful kitchen for the agreed upon amount. Jim uses a great software program shown on a large, flat screen monitor, with the kitchen elevations shown from many angles so we knew exactly how the new kitchen would look. As we discussed the plans, we ended up adding two built in cabinets with upper glass door cabinets in our dining area, and we are so glad we did. It tied the whole area together and was worth the additional cost. Ryan and Jared, the craftsmen/installers, were a pleasure to have in our home. Respectful of our property, completely trustworthy and kept us informed of all work done or to be done. We appreciated their many years of experience and specifically, their attention to detail. If a problem arose, it was discussed with us thoroughly with a agreed upon decision. A specific problem was an area of ceiling, wall to wall, which was off (not level) by a significant amount. After discussing the options, it was decided to hang the cabinets as they had done at another job with a similar problem. Using this solution no one would ever know how off the ceiling is in this area. Eric and Bill completed the painting plus the drywall work. The ceiling over the old island and kitchen sink had a terrible patch job done by a previous owner. Bill cut out these areas, installed new drywall, mudded and sanded so now the entire ceiling looks as it should. The crew stayed on site each work day, never leaving to go to another job, which was very important to us. At the end of each day, they would clean up then discuss what was planned for the next day's work and what time they would arrive on the job. Because of the complete professionalism exemplified by all who work for Stellar Remodeling and Design, the inconvenience of this remodel job was made most pleasurable. We would definitely hire Stellar for our next project.

I was very pleased with the service I received on my house: structural repairs to all the floor joists on the upper necessitated removal of all the electrical, plumbing and gas pipes, and ductwork located between. Attention to detail was excellent; the two bathrooms upstairs got all new fixtures and accessories. Everyone in the company I worked with was professional, honest, courteous, and helpful in scoping out the structural problems, fixing them, and putting my house back together with the added changes that I wanted. They worked with me to accomplish the work beginning when I wanted and in a reasonable and reliable timeframe so I knew what to expect with schedule and costs.

We have hired this company for two jobs, one large and one medium-sized. We have been extremely pleased with the quality of their work. Jim particularly is very helpful and knowledgeable with design ideas. Both times the final price was exactly what the estimate was. When minor glitches occurred they made sure they were fixed promptly. We are very glad to give Jim and his team the very highest rating for quality work and integrity.

Stellar Remodeling and Design designed and installed a custom vanity for my small bathroom. I hired Stellar just for the vanity cabinet. Although they were doing a small part of the project, they gave it 100% of their attention. They had a great showroom with samples so I could see all finishes and styles in person. Their designer listened to my ideas and reviewed my Houzz photos to create a functional and beautiful cabinet to fit a narrow space. They also used current design software to create a realistic sketch of my design, which we tweaked several times until it was just right. I appreciated the benefit of a professional interior designer at no extra cost. The designer, owner and installer (their own employee--not a subcontractor) worked as a seamless team to complete the project on time and on budget. All three were knowledgable, professional, experienced, and super friendly. They replied quickly to all my questions. When a drawer did not fit (due to manufacturer's error), it was promptly replaced. They even offered tips on other aspects of the project (countertop, floor tile, hardware) to achieve the overall look I wanted. This was no easy task considering I had a modest budget, and needed to work around existing wall tile and fixtures. My Crystal cabinet is high quality and will last for many years--definitely a good value. Before I found Stellar, I shopped around at all the local cabinet shops. At the others, I felt as if I had stepped back in time 10+ years. At Stellar, I felt as if I were on The Property Brothers on HGTV! They offer the latest designs and technology combined with the best old-fashioned customer service. Jim, Kelly and their team put their customers first, and it really shows. They are the best in the business and I look forward to working with them again.

Jim and company are very easy to work with and always have thoughtful/helpful suggestions for the remodeling of our kitchen. The quality of the work was high at a very reasonable rate. When we had an issue, it was resolved quickly and professionally. When we began the project Jim asked several questions: what were things we really like about our current kitchen design and what did we want to change.
