Chad listened to everything we wanted in our kitchen renovation and made some great suggestions to help us achieve a beautiful and very functional kitchen. Swanson Renovations did a truly wonderful job transforming our kitchen into a more sleekly modern and elegant space. From design to completion, Chad made sure our project, which included replacing the kitchen floors, countertops, backsplash, cabinetry, light fixtures, and vent and cooktop, stayed on schedule and followed the determined budget. Our general contractor Carter was fantastic. Always on time, cheerful, and focused, Carter made sure every detail of the project met or exceeded our expectations. He oversaw every step of the update and communicated with us regularly regarding the schedule and what work would occur each day. We felt very secure knowing our project was in the care of true professionals.

Chad and Carter are an amazing team to work with, they're both extremely patient, responsive and great communicators too...!!! Initially the project scope was to "Remodel the Kitchen", but that kind of grew to include the "Utility Room", "Fireplace" as well as some features within the living room.. Below is a brief recap of the project: — Gut Kitchen, Utility Room, and Fireplace (stand-alone) — Modify kitchen layout & design — Additional register added to the kitchen — New custom cabinets, counter tops, lighting (recessed, pantry cabinets, under cabinet) — Zink, Faucet, R/O system — Oven exhaust vented out — New Fireplace with heater (w/blower) — Custom mantel — Customer floating shelf for the entrainment (with hidden storage) Listed below are a few points, I'd like to call out that impressed me: — The whole process is extremely transparent and well document to ensure no disconnects — They utilize an app called "BuilderTrend" to manage project activities (calendars), change orders, project photos, etc.. — Collaboration, they truly want to make sure you're happy with the finish product. For example, for the Mantel & Floating shelf, the team built out a portion of the finished product to ensure I'd be okay with the design, size and finish. — Quality, they have the upmost standards and that speaks volumes coming from me. For example, when the countertops were installed I had a few concerns, Chad stopped by that afternoon agreed and actually pointed out a few items that concerned him as well. He secured second opinions, and then ensured all the concerns were addressed / resolved before we moved forward. — Creative, as I mentioned before, I'm slightly OCD and when I brought up concerns, this team knocked it out of the ballpark... For example, I had concerns regarding the drawer glides damaging the cabinet doors if the doors weren't 100% opened when the drawer is pulled out... They solved!!! Chad and team are great, it's that simple. I'd definitely recommend them in a heartbeat and in the future, when my next project surfaces, they'll be the first team I call..

Chad not only understands good design and high standards, but can communicate well, a skill most general contractors lack. He is easy to reach and quick to resolve problems without ego or drama. Swanson Renovations did a kitchen, pool bath, laundry/utility room, and mudroom remodel. Chad and Carter were great to work with. They were professional and were very detailed about implementing the design of our space. We removed walls, moved a wall to find space for our mudroom and repurposed some cabinets in the laundry room to stay on budget but not have to give up on functionality. We were thrilled with the results and would highly recommend working with Swanson Renovations!

Swanson Renovations was an early winner in our pursuit of a home remodeling professional. After two projects, I feel we've found a remodel partner for life! Chad Swanson came into our major project after we had fired our first contractor. Chad took over and put our fears to rest. We added on about 1600 sq. feet to ur house, which included a new master bedroom, master bath, mudroom, laundry and kitchen rebuild. His crew has worked with him for years. They are polite and trustworthy. Never had to worry about someone not showing up. The finished carpentry is just beautiful. We have recommended Swanson Renovations to our friends and they have been happy as well. We will definitely use him again if the need arises.

My husband and I hired Swanson Renovations to remodel our kitchen. I found Chad through Angie's List and asked him to come give us a computer generated idea of what our kitchen could look like. From the minute they came through the door and began meticulously taking notes and measurements, I was so impressed. Chad not only has a great eye for a project, but he sees all the tiny little things that take the project from great to fantastic. Another winning aspect was when Chad had us go on Howzz and put together idea books to give him an idea of our likes. Without realizing it at the time, I had included his work on more than one project. Every person he had come through the door to work on the project has been a talented professional in their trade. They were respectful to me, to each other, to the house. I would include photos, but we are getting ready to have it photographed by a professional. My photos would not do it justice.

Was scared to death, to remodel kitchen because of all the horror stories, that you hear about. Met with Chad from Swanson Renovation's. He was very confident, reassuring and professional. Swanson Renovations recently completed a major renovation of our forty year old kitchen. Though Chad Swanson usually does his own design work, he was willing to take on our project as designed by Sharon Flatley, a Dallas designer. I had my own vision clearly in mind and Sharon's excellent plans, all I needed was a great contractor to make it all come to life. Chad Swanson was the perfect choice. He helped me select surface materials that fit my vision. He and his subs worked with the design and me to confirm that all was conforming to what I wanted. Chad was on site at some point nearly every day. His attention to detail and supervision of the project resulted in a beautiful vintage kitchen that is timeless in form and functions wonderfully. The project came in on time and on budget, I would highly recommend Swanson Renovations.

Complete DESIGN & remodel of a 2800sf one story 1974 home. * gutted and rebuilt kitchen, living room, 4 bathrooms * new paint, moulding, trim, floors * removed and relocated walls for more "open" floor plan feel. * remodeled fireplace - hearth, façade, mantle * re-poured slab and replaced exterior walls with energy efficient windows & French doors * reconfigured lighting locations & wall outlets, switches, etc.... * retextured ceilings, walls, etc.... * added a 200sf cedar beam covered patio & blended into existing roof * extensive exterior stone work * repaired major "under foundation" plumbing issues. Swanson Renovations completely remodeled my master bathroom in March 2013. Then in September 2013 they installed hardwood floor in my master bedroom, family room, and dinning room. They did such a great job that they are now installing wood floors in my new (downsized) house while I am in Europe. That's how awesome this company is. I can give them the key to my house, leave the Country, and know that it will be done right when I get back. If it's not, I will let you know that too.
