We have had the good fortune of working with Tama and Lauren Bell, and their team, for over a year in the design of our new home in Mendocino County. They made the impossible possible by giving us excellent advice and expertise in every aspect of the house, both inside and outside. The attention to detail was unsurpassed and they took mountains of pressure off us as we were residing in another state the entire time. The result was a dream home for our retirement that we will enjoy in the years to come. We chose Tama and Lauren Bell during the middle of the pandemic. Needless to say even during a challenging time my project went flawlessly and I absolutely love my home. Tama and Lauren did a great job with my project. I'm very happy with how it turned out. They are very responsive and hard working, and they really listen to understand your style and what you want. They also brought in other top notch professionals, including a general contractor and a painter, both of whom are great. Tama has a GREAT eye for paint colors too. I'd recommend them to anyone with a larger scale project that has complexity.

Tama, Lauren, and the entire TBD team are professional, responsive, creative, and a delight to work with. They were able to completely transform my home into a beautiful, comfortable oasis. I will definitely turn to TBD in the future for any home design projects.

This review is long overdue, but every day I walk through our beautiful home I’m reminded of the fantastic transformation by Tama Bell Design and want to highly recommend them. Tama and Lauren transformed our home into a beautiful, warm, inviting and functional space that blended some of our current furnishings with new, elegant pieces that created perfect harmony. They were wonderful to work with, always listening and incorporating our interests and preferences, but also offering very creative ideas to make the rooms interesting and beautiful. As a Company we are keen on supporting other local companies in our community. We wanted to develop a relationship with a designer that lives nearby, understands the area and could connect us with local vendors. When we sat down with Tama Bell we realized that her design philosophy aligned with ours and that her ideas for transforming the space would be terrific when completed.

We worked with Tama and her team on a major remodel project that touched every room in our home (and the exterior), including the complete demolition and remodel of our kitchen and three bathrooms. Tama worked with us every step of the way, providing a broad array of services including space planning, material / finish specification, furniture and custom window treatment selection, and much more. Tama has an amazing “eye” and ability to create a vision. We had lived in our home for many years and had a lot of work to do. Interior design is definitely not our strong suit, and it was a relief and a huge benefit to have Tama show us the way. She worked hard to understand our needs and was sensitive to our budget. Tama seemed to know what we wanted even before we did. We’re thrilled with the results of our remodel, and are very thankful for the excellent work and support we received from Tama and her team. We’re still pinching ourselves!

Amazing dream team! We used Tama Bell Design to totally transform our home in Sonoma wine country after finding their work on this platform. I reached out to several designers but felt they understood my aesthetic the best and also had great ideas on spatial planning. We redid the finishes on all the bathrooms and kitchen, as well as lighting and paint throughout. Including furnishings, the home is COMPLETELY transformed. We feel like we live in a hotel now and still can't believe how beautiful it is. We are completely obsessed and it's not even 100% done yet (about 95% there). They took on a very unconventional project and turned it into a beautiful masterpiece. Everybody on the team is extremely professional and gets things done in a timely fashion and are super responsive to any requests / questions. My advice is to trust the process! My husband and I lead busy lives so having such a great team to lean on was well worth the extra expense!

I followed Tama's Blog and on Facebook for a year before starting our kitchen remodel. I quickly came to realize that I needed her expertise in order to achieve our expectations. Tama was a delight to work with, her knowledge made the process enjoyable for us. She took our vision and came up with a design that surpassed our imagination. Tama made it very easy and fun for us to decide on cabinets, counters, backsplash, hardware, lighting, colors, etc., all in the comfort of our home. I was especially thankful that she didn't take no for an answer and called in a structural engineer to see if we could raise our kitchen ceiling. In the end the answer was yes and it has made all the difference, not only to our kitchen, but in our family and living rooms. I highly recommend Tama (and have) to anyone looking for a top-notch designer.

My experience with Tama was flawless. I had considered moving into another home because I was just not feeling comfortable in my home. I just didn't seem like me. After Tama finished I realized that she had helped me to create exactly the feeling I had been looking for. My house finally felt like HOME. She knew what I wanted even before I did....Tama is easy to work with and her ideas and designs are just beautiful. I LOVE my home now and have no plans on moving any longer!
