Do not be fooled by their beautiful showroom. The installation process was terrible! Mistakes were made everywhere, wrong measurements taken, almost as though the plan wasn’t even followed. It has added months to our renovation waiting for them to fix careless mistakes. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

It's hard to find good people - and we sure needed help with our kitchen project. After meeting with 2 other kitchen design and cabinetry businesses we just found the Cabinet Connection's philosophy around thinking through how you'll actually live in a space refreshing. We dealt with Natasha and Carlos, they were really responsive, came up with surprising ideas and helped us managed the delivery of our project on time and on budget. We can't thank them enough.

Countless delays, revocation of a promised refund, terrible management - that summarizes my experience with TCC. TCC took 12 months to finish a relatively simple kitchen that was due to take 2 months. There were issues with scheduling, installation, and even delivering incorrect products, all of which were repeated multiple times. It took 7 attempts to get it right, each time accompanied with a "commitment" to fix the issue for the next time. We ordered in October 2019 for a Dec 2019 install. They finally completed the project on October 30 2020. Aside from the owners, you'll meet some of the nicest front-line crew at TCC who are trying to do a good job. The issue is that there is a level of incompetence right from the top, with owners Carlos Craston and Steve Corbell. They even offered compensation for my troubles, only to later withdraw their offer for compensation, and suggest that *they* should be compensated for needing to reorder parts (due to their own errors). Their own deliverers and installers felt the need to apologize to us repeatedly for what we were going through, ultimately showing more remorse than we saw from the owners. The cabinets they provide are beautiful. The service, specifically their follow-through, is terrible. Do yourself a favour and order your cabinets from another provider. There are other companies in Ottawa that will provide the same product. TCC was the sole reason why the completion of our reno was delayed.

We chose The Cabinet Connection based upon the positive review of our neighbour who had used them in a kitchen reno previously. We also liked the well thought out design for our kitchen cabinets. Working with the designer, Donna Bernard, was great. She was able to gain us more efficiency and storage space within the square footage of our kitchen. The cabinets arrived in a timely manner and were installed very efficiently. The installers were meticulous in every detail as they installed them. We also ordered our countertop through The Cabinet Connection and are very pleased with it as well.

We renovated our main floor and built a new kitchen using Cabinet Connection cupboards. The design process was good, Donna was lovely and Steve and Carlos were nice. The issues occurred after the cupboards were in. Handles were added before proper adjustments were made to the drawers so rubbing drawers scratched the handles. A visit was needed to replace these. It occurred again and another visit was needed. There were multiple visits in fact, to straight a door or misaligned drawer here, add a panel there, replace push door mechanisms, touch up so so so many chips, the list goes on and on; and these were all one-off visits where I had to arrange to be home from work. Scheduling and organization after the initial install was a nightmare. As well, the cupboards chipped very easily right from the start. The quality is shit to put it bluntly. This is our 5th kitchen (3 were paint) and I have never had quality issues like this. Unfortunately for us, we paid Carlos thinking that Cabinet Connection would have the decency to meet their obligations. They sent someone to do touch ups a couple of times but have refused to replace the doors - there are 2 in particular that now look over 10 yrs old and we have had them for 19 months. We begged them to come back and fix these doors recently so they came and did more touch ups, refusing to replace them. The touch up paint lasted 2 weeks. We have friends that flip houses and they recommended Cabinet Connection. However they never had to live with the cupboards after the install so did not see the horrendous quality or lack of understanding, lack of pride, or lack of customer service that the company actually has in the products they provide. Do not get your cupboards here unless you do not plan to live with them. It is so frustrating to work so hard, save your money to put toward a kitchen you have been dreaming about and then be left feeling cheated and disappointed. I feel like we have been swindled and the seller could care less as they received the pay cheque they were after. You are more than welcome to contact me and come by to see our cupboards before deciding on cabinet connection. I do not want another person to suffer through the experience we have.

We had our kitchen renovated recently. We are happy with the quality of the cabinets. I dealt with Steve, he was very helpful and knowledgeable, was always available for us and quick to follow up on any glitches I would highly recommend him.

I was introduced to The Cabinet Connection through a designer some time ago and have come to rely on them to meet my clients' kitchen and bath remodelling needs. They not only offer a great selection of quality products and design ideas in their showroom but also provide excellent customer service through the entire process, making sure the client understands every step.

We chose The Cabinet Connection on the recommendation of friends and after meeting several other local companies. They were incredibly flexible in terms of design options and provided great advice to ensure we stayed on budget. Design work and approval was an easy process with plenty of opportunities to customize. There were some minor manufacturing issues that delayed the installation but these were dealt with very quickly and professionally. Once the manufacturing issues were corrected, the installation was done quickly and expertly. The final design turned out better than we hoped. I would not hesitate to recommend The Cabinet Connection to anyone.

Carlos, Steve and Donna are an excellent team with exquisite taste and such a wide variety of products that they have available. I strongly recommend them to many of my own clients!

Very professional from the designer to the cabinet installer. Always willing to work with the changes we asked to be made. Any tweeks that were required were done quickly.
