Alyce was amazing to work with! Decorating has never been my forte, and she came in with confidence and poise and effortlessly whipped out several options for us to consider. Throughout the process she made me feel confident and valued as a customer. I'm so glad we were able to partner together to create our space! She is truly your personal decorating genie!

Alyce with The True House has been nothing short of AMAZING in helping my husband and I with making our house into a home. I am sure many can relate, but my husband and I have always had the hardest time agreeing with design concepts, choosing furniture, and just plain getting started with home projects therefore we never follow through. Alyce is a master mind at listening to both our ideas and styles and putting them together to come up with THE BEST room designs that both my husband and I LOVE! Alyce's next project...help us build our new dream home from the ground up ♥️♥️♥️!!

I will just start off this review by saying that Alyce was awesome! In early 2017 my husband and I purchased a house and we didn't have the slightest idea how we were going to turn this house into our home. It was a larger home than we originally had so a lot of our furniture and decor was too small to utilize in our new house so we were basically starting from scratch. Lost, I turned to the East Chula Vista Mom's Facebook page and asked for a recommendation for an interior design/decorator and many of the moms in the group referred Alyce. I reached out to her and we set up our first meeting at our house. Right away I was able to get a feeling that her creative juices were already flowing! She was very organized right off the bat and listened to everything that I wanted in my home. I've watched a ton of Fixer Upper episodes so I kind of knew what I wanted by had no idea if it would work in my home and how to achieve it. Alyce wanted to know how hands on I wanted her to be. I can recall her asking if I just wanted guidance i.e. she would give me ideas, pictures, inspiration boards and we would just run with it OR if I wanted more from expertise. With a busy job and a 1 year old baby girl, I really wanted her to do everything for us. Alyce really did it all. She went to different paint places, furniture stores, met with our window treatment person, hardware stores went shopping with AND without me to pick out decor, accepted deliveries, checked up on vendors, made sure everything was perfect to the smallest detail, and so much more. She really did it all. Things were always moving along which great! Alyce pretty much designed all of our bottom floor: Kitchen, Living Room, 2 Bathrooms, Laundry Room, Dining Room, Family Room, fire place & entry way. She picked out awesome tiles, paint, hardware, furniture, window treatments, lighting, and decorations down to the smallest detail. For the upstairs she chose paint, paint design, hardware and lighting. My husband and I looooove Alyce. Not only did she make our house a home, she made it so easy for us. She is not only our interior designer but she is now a really awesome friend. We are definitely going to hire her for our upstairs when the time is right :)

We love The True House and highly recommend! We have worked with Alyce on a few different projects. She has updated our formal living areas, kitchen and is currently working on our family room. Alyce is very easy to work with and has taken our vision for all our spaces and made them a reality.

The True House helped update my sons bedroom about a year ago and i’ve got to say, my wife and I were very impressed. Not only was the work completed in a timely manner but it was also a lot nicer than expected. I would not hesitate to refer The True House to all my friends, family, and clients. Thanks Alyce!!

Alyce was recommended to us by a friend to help with our living room. I met with her, uncertain if she would actually be able to suggest things that were my style (so many people decorate in different versions of the same style!). She absolutely fulfilled all of our expectations though! I gave her a budget, our dreams for the room, and told her we liked to do as much of the work as possible. She created a digital image of our room for approval, dimensions for things we could make ourselves, and links to accessories. The room looked incredible. We ended up asking her to help with 3 other rooms, and I hope she will also help when we redo the bathrooms! I would recommend her to anyone - no matter your budget, style, size - she will make it amazing!

I really loved working with Alyce! We redid my kitchen dining area and she made the process very easy. I'm a full time working mom so having time to decorate or look for items is not an easy task for me. She worked with my ideas to collaborate something that I could have never done by myself. I have gotten countless compliments on my new space and am looking forward to hiring her for more projects in the near future!
