The Yardstick

I have a quick shout out to Yardstick, great service. The owner personally came out to our home and on Sunday to boot. He was so kind and so knowledgeable. What was really great he was not pushy nor was he trying to upsell us. In fact just the opposite, he ultimately suggested a far more economical alternative. We plan to use his services and highly recommend the Yardstick.

Jack & his team did a great job from the very start when we had a lot of options to choose from to the time when everything was completely installed. And getting this done in a timely fashion during the current COVID situation was exemplary. We had them install shades throughout the house, and with any project there were bumps/issues that arose and Jack was there to help us fix them. Our highest recommendation to the Yardstick team and will recommend anyone who is looking at what Hunter Douglas has to offer.

Hands down the best home service experience I've had. The prices were fair, the product high quality, and the service expectational. The sales consultation was handled by Andrew and the owner, Jack, came once the final contract was nailed down. They were respectful, detail oriented and knowledgeable. We ended up going with Hunter Douglas shades and the product was delivered within a couple weeks of order. Andrew himself came and did the install within a couple hours. The company delivered on time, and the results are aesthetically pleasing. I would recommend Yardstick to anyone who wants to upgrade their window treatment.

Initially found The Yardstick on Houzz, but researched other locations as well. We had three vendors come to help us how to best address motorized shade options for three large patio doors - easier said than done. Jack was patience, competent, and knowledgeable. I know we will want to put motorized shades in other portions our our home in the near future - we will certainly be calling Jack from The Yardstick back to help complete this project as well.

We had just finished building our new home and of course hadn't thought of the small things and not so small things such as window coverings. Upon scrambling to get quotes and come up with options we ran across Jack and his team at The Yardstick. The long and short of it is Jack came out quickly to meet us with a plethora of options for coverings. He took time to understand our needs and made suggestions and guided us to the absolute right choice for us at the right price. The order came quickly and Jack was back doing the installation himself to make sure we were 100% satisfied. He also offered to come back as we couldn't install one room due to ongoing construction. We have automated shades on the front windows and Jack did the install, installed the wifi hub, helped bring the app online, paired the remotes and made sure all was in full working order before he left. Bottom line is I can say enough good things about the level of service and commitment we received from The Yardstick. Jack, the owner, came out to measure my patio door for vertical blinds. He brought tons of samples and we picked out the style and color in a short time. Two weeks later, I had my verticals hung, by Jack himself. They look beautiful! Perfect window treatment for my patio door! Jack is very easy to work with and has been in business for many years. I didn't even look anywhere else--the Yardstick has been around for years and has a wonderful reputation.

Jack is a real pro whose family has been in this business for years. He responded immediately to the inquiry I made as to window treatments and has a real knowledge of quality design and fabrics. He follows up and delivers on time and we were very satisfied with the three different window treatments he handled.
