Mike and his team from Through The Garden designed and installed a bluestone patio in my backyard that is beyond beautiful. The stones they chose have unique coloring and were laid out with great care and craftsmanship. I appreciate how they accommodated my schedule and the tips Mike shared for how to address some other things I was concerned about in my garden. Thank you Through the Garden!

Awesome company...met them at the Frederick Home Show. The designer, Dan Stough, knocked it out of the park with creating a beautiful design for my back yard. I told him what I wanted and hus design exceeded my expectations. The workmanship was impeccable and the finished product is perfect! My hats off to this company.. they’ve got all the right people working for them. They’re honest, creative, talented and priced competitively. I’m super happy with the finished product, it’s absolutely beautiful. I Definitley chose the right company. They get 5 stars from me!

We retained Henk, Dan, and the team at Through The Garden (TTG) to undertake a major relandscaping project at our home, including installing a pool and completely replacing all of the driveway, beds, plantings, and irrigation. From the beginning of the project, TTG’s thoughtful attention to our ideas, wants, and needs was evident. The firm has a deep appreciation for design aesthetic, married to landscape engineering and architecture, and we were very pleased with their work. The “heavy lifting” of a project like ours required multiple vendors, intense coordination, and flexibility. TTG really shined. Of all the various folks onsite every day during a lengthy construction process, TTG’s Herman and team did remarkable work, achieving top-level artisan-quality results and execution. We are thrilled and highly recommend TTG.

Through The Garden is a highly professional and competent company. It did major stone work in our garden repairing several retaining walls in July, 2017. The team was always on time, well-organized and its members worked well with each other. They were self sufficient and considerate, always taking care not to create more dust or cause more disruptions than necessary. The stone work was excellent, and yet the team responded positively to any suggestions we made. I was worried about this project when it started. By the time they left, I was missing them. Prices are also very reasonable, and the company's estimate was pretty accurate as to the final cost of the project. The company was also always ready to accommodate the customer.

Good landscape design. Knowledgeable staff. Helpful suggestions regarding drainage, deer and drought resistant plants, etc. They were able to transfer a tree from a previous home.

We upgraded the landscaping in the front and rear of our house. Dan Stough was great to work with. He put real thought into the project resulting in a better than expected result. He even moved a couple existing small trees into much better locations. We did lose one bush; and they replaced it. Dan provided a detailed plan for our HOA approval process that they were very impressed with.

I am primarily a custom homebuilder. I was referred by a client to the director of her synagogue. Ttg relayed 1400 ft.² of pavers repairing the substrata but Neath them and rebuilding flagstone steps. This was done in your 100° weather. It was some of the finest work I've ever seen.

This company ROCKS!! And pebbles, and boulders! Our garden and backyard were such a mess that we did not want to step outside. We have a pretty nice place and space; just needed some TLC. Well, these guys revamped the entire thing! They gave me so many cool ideas and did not try to oversell anything. They were honest and most of all: we love, love our outdoor space now! Totally worse every penny. Give them a try! You will be amazed with the quality of their services and the beautiful, natural looking final results. Thanks guys! :D

Simply amazing. That's the best way to describe Landscape Architect Michael Yeomans of Through The Garden. Through The Garden was hired by the homebuilder I work for to come up with creative solutions for small courtyard home yards. Michael Yeomans not only created inspired spaces but he did so with such attention to the smallest detail. He really thinks outside of the box with each design. Michael is artistic in his choices. He truely cares about each project large or small and his client's desire to have a special outdoor room. Our clients appreciate his knowledge of design, stonework, and plant materials and most importantly his continued presence throughout the project. They simply love working with him and the gardens he creates.

Commented: Would you ever put an elevator in your home?I live in an historic home with an elevator. It is an interesting conversation piece but we only use it once or twice a year. It's mostly used for temporary storage.
