Mayer’s construction did an excellent job of building a pergola that extends from our guest room with a tile roof including rain gutter and lights. All aspects of the project were done with great skill and surely will add value to our home as it looks as if was part of the original home architecture. The red tile roof is identical to our other existing roofing. Our project manager Mike had a great group of dedicated installers and followed our plan perfectly. I highly recommend them

Really happy with the result. Mike and his team helped us totally renovate 2 bathrooms and add an outside shower and soaking tub. The result was beyond my expectations. What I liked the best: - Design help from Mori. She has a keen eye, and helped us make choices that were bold but not trendy, and that matched our taste. A high-end interior designer asked "who did this for you?" and was shocked when she found it was our builder and ourselves. - Great communications. Every step of the way. - Impeccable workmanship. Mike was a stickler for quality - for instance, insisting that the tiles have mitred corners, even if I didn't ask for it. - Timeliness. Mike and Mori kept things moving along briskly (even when we dropped the ball) - Fair pricing. Honored the bid; no surprises. Note that the finish materials are not explicitly in the bid; you pay them at cost. So that's on top of the original bid. Keep this in mind when comparing; I still found this fair compared to others.

We had a great experience with Mayer's Construction on our JADU project. Mike, our project manager, and the rest of the team worked incredibly fast and respected our time, minimizing the need for us to be constantly involved in the small details. They worked hard to capture our vision, and if we ever ran into any issues, they worked with us to figure them out. We would happily use them again for another project.

Words cannot describe how awesome the experience was and interaction with Mike and his crew. Beginning with our initial meeting and walk through, follow up, proposal, commitments, and daily communication the icing on the cake was the completed work to restore the exterior paint, sills, siding, and detail of a 1924 home to become the shining star of the block. We worked with Mike who was amazing, organized, always on-time and so communicative. Our kitchen refresh was a smaller job than these guys usually take-on, but it was treated no different. They were in and out in just over two weeks. Each trade from the team was such an expert in their own area it was awesome to watch and each cleaned up the area at the end of the day! For what could have been a very complicated project to take-on ourselves, getting this kitchen updated was an incredibly smooth process. Felt like we had a brand new space in no time. They are top notch and do fantastic work! They remodel the bathrooms in our home. Despite all the issues they are facing with staffing, etc, they delivered quickly, efficiently and on time. They found some water damage and also fixed everything immediately. I was really impressed as they go above and beyond.

I had a fantastic experience with Mayer Construction. From start to finish with the addition of the ADU to my house, the whole team was collaborative, responsive, honest and professional. I get lot of compliments on my ADU and since its my home office, I use it all the time. The design team ensured that the ADU matched the aesthetic of my home and met all my needs. The construction team was attentive to detail and made sure everything was done to my liking. I've been through other home renovations and this was the best experience. I got exactly what I wanted and the entire process was seamless. I would absolutely recommend Mayer and work with them again in the future.

We were very happy with the work Mike and his team did on our home. They were both professional and honest. Nathan and Mike did a great job helping us find the right materials, heated floor systems and provided with a specific design details so we did not miss anything along the process. We appreciated Mike and his team as they renovated our 17 year old Master Bath. They did a wonderful job. We had an unused Tub and old shower and they turned it into a modern spacious walk in shower. They cleansed up after end of the job. My hubby and I were very satisfied with their work. Very professional. Easily Five Stars, we surely recommended as they cared making our vision realized and needs met!

Mike has excellent customer service skills and my kitchen is so beautiful! He gave me everything I asked for. Everything was on schedule and any time I made changes he was quick to reply to my messages. I could not be happier with the level of support that he and his team provided. I can't thank you enough! Mayer's did everything from design thru final permits on the promised timeline and within budget- our new home was ready in time for our daughter's birth which meant everything to us. We added approximately 1000 SF to our home including a second story. Mike ensured that every detail of the project happened in a timely way, He was available to us all the time and helped us thru the process of design choices, ensuring we knew when to have finishing elements ready. There were no surprise costs and when there we're construction concerns or decisions to consider he took care of them or gave us options to make smart decisions. After construction was complete Mayer's CNR has checked in and been available to help with issues that come up as the new construction settles.

Great experience, high value, very reliable and best crew we ever worked with. Mayer’s construction did a home remodeling for us during the last 6 months. It has been a big home remodel for us that took design and build as well. After months spending finding the right company for us, we have choose to work with Mike & Nathan Mayer from Mayer’s construction. A week after finalizing contract we started working with Su & Luis both company’s architect and engineer. We worked on the new plans we agreed and wanted at first and started to have architect drawings ready, when we got into engineering process, both Mayer’s construction and us didn’t know we were suppose to redone so much of the existing footings and reinforce of additional walls as 20 years ago we did a 2nd story addition that was probably made poorly and unprofessional. They were extremely kind and helpful and kept the price as we agreed on and didn’t changed a thing. The plan process and measurements took about a month or so, and finally we were able to submit the plans to the city of San Jose. After getting the permits done and job card set ( overall 5 months of waiting / SJ is a pretty busy city) we got into work schedule and been ready to move out as the entire home going to be demolished. Mike was very organized both managing and scheduling the team, rough materials arrivals, and to us to be fully briefed with details and what we need and when. The process of work was great and on timeline , city did changed a lot during this time period with their inspection delays but it didn’t interrupt with our schedule or timeline due to great management ahead. We just finished our work and we absolutely in love with our new home! New flooring throughout, new kitchen, new bathrooms, complete open floor plan, new stair case, new rooms reconfigured, new paint, new texture, new windows and sliding doors throughout, all new plumbing and electrical. A brand new and beautiful home we got thanks to Mayer’s construction and the team, Mike, Nathan, Raul, Jose and many more who had a added value and did this work absolute best.

Great service and very professional remodeling company. We contact Mayer’s Construction and remodeling for a bathroom remodeling estimate. They were very nice on the phone and very respectful so we booked an early meeting including me and my husband. After receiving multiple offers from Others, they seems to be very knowledgable and gave us more logical ideas and more information about our future Bathroom Remodeling we had in mind. We hired them after 2 days of thoughts, and they came ready To work and showed us the exact schedule on this project. After less then a month we had a brand new remodeled bathroom. We are very exited to have this done with this professional people. We are happy we choose them for this kind of project and would like to recommend to other as well. Thank you very much. ———- Updating this has we have been hired again this great company, this time we choose to redo our front and back landscaping. We did worked on our idea for about 3 months until we got a firm design with the materials selection but the process wad extremely fast.
