Every time I look at our new garden, it brings me such joy. I can't keep away from the lovely, calm refuge Sara and her PlantMe Love team have created for us. Our outdoor space was once overrun with invasive English ivy — now it's a beautifully cohesive conservation landscape filled with native plants supported by proper water flow drainage, natural flagstone patios, retaining walls, and natural stone steppers that perfectly complement the wooded, sloped character of our property. Sara skillfully guided us through the entire process, starting with helping us visualize the potential of our space, navigating the design and inspection process with Montgomery County's Rainscape program, all the way through hardscape installation and planting phases. Throughout, she demonstrated creativity, deep expertise, thoughtfulness, and patience — stopping by multiple times a day to oversee the work and even getting hands-on during the planting phase. Highly recommend Sara and her team!

Sara and her team at PlantMe Love designed and built a large flagstone patio with retaining walls that double as large planters in our backyard. Previously we had a large hill that made much of our backyard unusable space that was overgrown with weeds and non-native plants. With the retaining walls and regrading of the yard, we now have a beautiful patio suitable for hosting happy occasions for years to come. Additionally, when replanting, Sara was very knowledgeable about how to use native plants that would help maintain soil and water flow so that a significant portion of our plant cost was covered by the rainscapes program. She delivered everything on time and was always available to us. We couldn't be more pleased with the results.

As the exciting results from PlantMe Love's installation completed last fall start to emerge from the ground this Spring, I feel compelled to share just how wonderful it was to work with this local company. Sara was an absolute delight -- patient, knowledgable, and flexible as she brought her vast expertise into our constructive discussions about how to add a variety of pollinators and native shade plans to the landscape, taking into account complex slopes, mature trees, and a mix of shaded and sunny environments. I knew that I wanted to remove invasive/non-native plants from my property but didn't quite appreciate how beautiful and transformative it would be to replace with a far broader range of native plants than I had been familiar with previously. Along the way, Sara was totally open and enthusiastic about several requested changes -- for example, adding boulders to several beds. In fact, she invited me to join her in selecting them from the supplier together, which was great fun and educational for me. She also generously consulted on plants I could install over time in areas of my yard that were not included in the contract. Pricing was very reasonable for the services and materials provided, and I'm already thinking ahead to future projects for which I will utilize Sara's services.

Sara and her team did an amazing job transforming my backyard into a beautiful area. The only regret is that the job was done just as it got really cold, so I won't have much chance to spend hours sitting out back enjoying my new, peaceful space until warmer weather returns.

Sara is a pleasure to work with. She has great design ideas and brings a very personal touch to the project. She and her team collaborated with me to design and then install pavers and retainer walls for my driveway and front yard; a high-quality patio with proper drainage; and flagstones in my back yard. We're currently planning for a garden of rockbeds and native plants that may qualify for Maryland's rainscape rebate program.

Sara and her team at PlantMe Love shepherded us through the successful conversion of our unkempt, empty backyard into a native conservation and rain garden leveraging the Montgomery County RainScapes program. Her beautiful and thoughtful design considered season, color, and texture, and will continue to mature and naturalize in the coming years. She handled everything from design, to navigating the paperwork with the county, to installation and inspection; it was completely end-to-end. She was onsite with her team for every aspect of the job, receiving materials, tilling/preparing the land, grading, installation, compost. She was even sending me pictures while at a tree farm to hand select a specimen tree for a particular spot in the back. Her vision and meticulously planned design came to fruition and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Sara; she is competent, professional, and knowledgeable, not mention a lovely person that you'll probably want to be friends with by the end of your project.

Sara and her team at Plant Me Love were exceptional. Her vision of what my entryway could be was exactly what I had wanted, although I couldn’t put it into words. From the flagstone walkway to the plantings, all was perfectly done and in good time, despite the rain! Plus she was attentive and easy to work with.

Sara was very thoughtful of our backyard space, privacy concerns and budget. She was able to put together a planting plan to implement asap and a long term vision that is budget friendly. She was very communicative and upfront about costs, scheduling, and is not afraid to use some elbow grease to get the space ready for planting. I look forward to doing more planting projects with Sara and PlantMeLove!
