Finding an architect can be a pain, but I was lucky and found a great one. Annette Wiley of Wiley Designs is a one-of-a-kind architect. She is leading edge with her sustainable and streamline design. Annette is easy to work with, which is crucial when it comes to picking an architect. Her key strength is that she listens to you. From my experience, Annette is the real deal; the design was exactly what I wanted and the whole process was an enjoyable experience.

Annette is wonderful to work with! She is a master at what she does and she is a true artist. In terms of modern home architecture, she is far ahead of her competition with her forward thinking and her approach. Annette holds countless architectural awards for her designs in residential, workplaces, educational buildings, and the arts. Her scope of work and resume is very impressive and sets her apart from most of these "professionals" on Houzz. Her experience is unmatched! I've admired Annette's innovative architecture for many years and feel fortunate to have worked with her recently on the AIAOC Design Awards program. Wiley Architects worked with us to design a major addition and remodel of our house in Pasadena. They generated lots of sketch options quickly to test the feasibility and funtionality of various schemes using effective computer 3D visualization tools which really helped in our decision-making. They also were able to give us good guidance to stay within our budget by prioritizing the options, materials and systems. We appreciate their modern design aesthetic and ability to listen to our needs.

My husband and I hired Wiley Architects to help re-imagine our out-dated 1940s post-war box of a house. We needed creative ways to maximize interior space (especially with a baby on the way) as well as conceptualize a new exterior that was modern and fit our aesthetic. Ms. Wiley is a very talented designer who has helped me take a very dated 1960's home and bring it into the current day. It's warm and inviting and exactly what I wanted. She is a wonderful, warm person and it was a joy working with her. She met her deadlines as requested and worked with many people to provide the information they needed to make my home come together.
