My husband and I basically lucked into hiring this company for a huge project-- kitchen remodel-- (and have since used them for a half dozen smaller jobs) and can not overstate how happy we are to have found Marroquin Construction!! We had no clue what we were doing and just went by instinct after a great first meeting with Robin, the CEO. After that, it was an outstanding experience overall--checking every box here including communication, timeliness, follow-through, quality of work, honesty in feedback and invoicing, and contributing excellent ideas that made the finished product far exceed our expectations. He understood the look and concept we were going for--we had interviewed another contractor who really didn't 'get it'-- and he and his staff went the extra mile in every way to create our dream kitchen. This is NOT the guy who hooks a customer making promises and not delivering on them--when he accepts a job, he's not juggling a bunch of other work and stringing you along. He is on top of the project every step of the way ensuring quality and satisfaction!! They are a true find! Robin is a stand up guy and he has great workers who are easy to have around in a small space!

We hired Marroquin Construction to complete a remodel of our townhome so we could sell it. The work included drywall repair, complete remodel of two bathrooms & kitchen and many other projects. We couldn’t be happier with the finished project and the professionalism of Marroquin Construction. They said they would get the work done in 3 weeks which they did. I hired Robin and his team at Marroquin Construction to remodel a garage-conversion and washroom into a large master bedroom. It involved drywall work, electrical work, moving a washmachine, and installing a new parquette floor. I had hired a couple different freelance contractors before and they all did bad work and often showed up days late. First hired Robin to redo driveway, retaining walls and planter boxes with pavers and stone. He was very patient and helpful in selecting the materials and the work was done beautifully. So happy with the work that we then hired him to repair a large wooden deck. The team did a great job. All work completed in a timely manner and with high quality.

I had two major projects completed by Marroquin Construction--all of the cast iron drain lines in my house were replaced with ABS, and my roof was replaced. Both projects were completed on time, and within budget. I have also had many smaller projects completed by Robin. He is always very responsive and does a great job. Robin has been extremely professional since Day 1; his work is outstanding and he has been at our house everyday 7am-7pm, even on the weekend, as he wanted to meet deadlines. Robin is thus an extremely hard worker, dedicated, and aims to please—our neighbors have commented on our house (all due to Robin) and have even said "this is our dream backyard." We had a vision and Robin executed, also offering some professional insight and experience along the way. We now call him a friend who we can absolutely rely on!

Robin Marroquin has completely reinvented my longtime family home almost single handedly. Marroquin Construction has done numerous repairs and remodels of our old 1919 home in Coronado, California. Robin Marroquin has refinished/remodeled the entire living space over our garage in 2012, but has also repaired lath/plaster walls, replaced old windows, repaired plumbing disasters, and the list goes on and on. He did all of the audio/visual and internet wiring for the home, as well as hung and set up our flat screen television and home entertainment. He matched the wood trim in the space over the garage and paid attention to the small details that give our historical home its character.
