My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Working with Dan has been great. He turned our ideas (which we drew with pencil and paper) into our custom home. He has been very helpful with questions, and enjoyable to work with.

Dan did an excellent job with our house plans for a very reasonable price. We went through a series of revisions and he addressed all of our changes in a timely fashion. We not only communicated through email, but there were several times Dan called us to discuss particular issues with our plans. It is important when you are dealing with a firm that is not in your city to know that you can call with questions. Very easy to work with and we would certainly contract with Dan again. Thanks Dan!

My husband and I hired Dan to do some modification's to our floor plan. His turn around time with well within reason and the quality of work was spot on! Reasonably priced as well. He seemed to know exactly what we were thinking throughout the whole process. We would definitely use him again and highly recommend.

Mr. O'Connell is extremely helpful in the beginning until even after he's paid. He makes assurance to be available for follow-up if needed however there's no fine print. After 2.5 years, he still has not responded to my phone messages, emails, or text messages. An entire nightmare for our "dream home. Even now, there are still issues that other architects or engineers will not take on but refer me back to the original architect (Dan O’Connell) who still has yet to respond as of April 2017.

Jamey, you were told at the beginning that I am not licensed in Florida and you would need to get a Florida Licensed professional to stamp your plans. This is a copy from your email dated Aug 2014.
--==-- We submitted our plans to our architect to be sealed and found a few issues that include foundation and roof truss configurations. Our architect advised that he would provide us with specific corrections that he will need befor our plans can be sealed. If necessary, we may have him contact you directly if becomes too confusing. We look forward in continuing working with you as this has been a great experience for us. --==--
It appears you had someone stamp drawings done by us? It is not legal to stamp plans that others have drawn, especially without their permission. I didn't want to be a part of that.

Dan was very easy to work with and did a great job for us! We hand sketched out our new home and he helped us make it reality. No matter how many times we asked him to tweak or change something, he always accommodated.

Dan O'Connell is uniquely talented architect. We worked with Dan on several home designs and it was absolute pleasure to work with him. Whether it is Residential or Commercial building design or just simply a small remodel, Dan is your man! We had to make many changes and revisions and it was not an issue for Dan. He delivers always on time and always under budget. We will work with him in the future and we strongly recommend to give him the opportunity to create something amazing for you!
