With a few deft changes -- widening the meanly-proportioned front path, and re-building the narrow cement front steps wider and in wood, Lisa Fischetti transformed the front of my house from ugly to beautiful. She enclosed air conditioners and trash cans in an openwork utilities area that is now copied all over my neighborhood. The kitchen had been a nasty, prison like room with small, high windows. By cutting two windows down to the floor to make them double doors, and adding a patio, she changed our lives, giving us the outdoors. And she knew exactly what shrubs to add, so that our backyard is now private. Much later, I hired her to renovate my kitchen. She was both respectful of my particular taste, and also of my budget, not going over what I had said I could spend. I recommend her with any reservation. ldfSTUDIO is a full service company from furniture to landscape.

I had fantastic and highly professional experience with Lisa Fischetti of ldf design. She has this amazing sense of space and is superbly adept at figuring out the most complex of puzzles. What you’ll immediately note about her is her agile mind. She quickly came up with several schematics for my bathroom and kitchen, pulling out the pencil and measuring tape on the spot. Within days, she presented each of her concepts for the renovations to me, clearly articulating the pros and cons, while staying very open to my input and answering any question I had. She is one of those old-school architects, with years of experience---a practitioner of the form follows function edict--- yet if you take a look at her portfolio you will see that she has style and taste as well. Her designs always look fresh, modern and cool, without being trendy. On top of this, she is someone who knows all the best electricians, flooring people, carpenters, cabinet makers etc. and is knowledgeable about an array of the best suppliers. I’m so happy with my kitchen and bathrooms.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisa to design the complete overhaul of a townhouse in Princeton. From the beginning of the project she listened to our vision. She took that vision, infused her unique artistic eye, and helped us create a beautiful home. Lisa worked with us through all aspects of construction and acted as the project manager to ensure all details were completed to her discerning specifications. That attention to detail is reflected in the finished product. We are so happy that Lisa Fischetti was our design architect. Now we are even happier to call her a friend.
