Working with Cara on "The Lola" was as dreamy as the space itself. She had a particular vision for each zone of this coworking space and we were delighted to help her make it happen. Cara and Jose took this little dream I had about building a plan for a home on a tiny niche street in Roswell and made it a beautiful reality. It was a difficult lot that needed a lot of thought and ingenuity to develop a plan for this absolutely cool house. Cara went over and above to make this happen. Everyday I walk into my house I am thrilled! If you get a chance to work with these architects you will not be disappointed!

It was a pleasure working with TaC Studios on the fabrication of custom window treatment for 373 Ashley Avenue. Such an amazing project! TaC Studios successfully blends sleek modern elements with warm inviting furniture pieces and fun, colorful artwork. They are great to work with, extremely professional and knowledgeable of their craft. Cara and Jose are very innovative and forward looking, incorporating eco-friendly materials in all of their designs.

These architects are fantastic! I can't recommend them enough. We had a comprehensive project involving a historic home that needed modernization to help it last another hundred and fifty years. Tac Studios designed and supervised the installation of a state of the art kitchen, master bath, guest bath, two powder rooms, and jack-n-Jill bath. TAC Studios also helped us select a new mechanical system that has greatly improved our indoor air quality, and provided protection to our art and furnishings. The kitchen design includes beautiful custom cabinets designed by TAC Studios and beautiful French doors also designed by TAC Studios. TAC Studios also designed custom vanities and vanity tops for all the bathrooms. TAC Studios made this massive project easy for us by providing thorough project management. It was completed on time and according to the budget.

TaC Studios is a cutting edge, innovative Architectural firm. We have worked with Cara & Jose on several projects over the years. The level of commitment to their customers is truly amazing. Extremely detailed oriented, they oversee all aspects of the design process facilitating a high level of communication with the builder and suppliers on a project. This in turn has created some incredible visual projects on budget with very happy customers! Our highest recommendation!!

We have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work with TaC studios numerous times over the last three years. I'm always impressed by the dedication to craft and the attention to detail that is brought to each unique project. TaC delivers exceptional architecture, interior design and professionalism with each new home they deliver.

We worked with TaC Studios (Cara and Jose) to build our modern house in Atlanta. They provided all architectural work (including material selection finishes, etc) and we also engaged them to provide some construction oversight to make sure that our vision was being properly constructed and consistent with our plans. I can't say enough about Cara and Jose. You hear a lot of horror stories from people who build a house from scratch. Though it was a lot of hard work, it was a great experience and a lot of fun and we were very fortunate to have picked the perfect architects to work with. There are a few things that come to mind that I think sets TaC apart. First is their approach to working with their clients and designing a house for how you want to live. It is critical to design a house that fits the clients needs. Sounds like common sense, but many architects are more focused on designing something that looks really cool but don't take into account how the client wants to live in the house or how functional the house really is to live in. In addition, having a cool looking house is great, but I think some architects don't put enough consideration into the "reality" of materials that are being specified (How long will it last? What kind of maintenance and costs? Etc.). Having a house that looks cool for a couple years and then starts breaking down is not good architecture and is not good for the client. Third, Cara and Jose are very good with keeping you within your budget and helping the client to make the right decisions of where to spend money on the house and where less money can be allocated without sacrificing the quality, look, feel and functionality of the house. Building a house from scratch is challenging enough - no need to add additional stress by significantly going over budget. Finally, all of this adds up to creating beautiful houses. TaC knows how to design houses that look amazing, are high quality, functional and will stay looking great for many years. Our house was selected for the Atlanta Modern Home Tour for two years, was featured in several magazines and was used to film a Dyson Vacuum commercial, so we/they must have done something right. I highly recommend anyone that is interested in building a modern house to talk to Cara and Jose. We would absolutely work with TaC Studios in the future if (when!) we build a new modern house.

We had a phenomenal experience designing and building our new home with TaC studios. Jose and Cara were great listeners, but perhaps more importantly, were able to translate what they heard into the design and construction of our home by being smart, creative, and having a wealth of experience behind them. Our home presented a few interesting structural and design challenges which were met with great thought and care. They also worked hand in hand with our builder and his team, working out details and knowing when to call us in for our opinions. We highly recommend Jose and Cara for any design/architectural work!

We are working with Cara and Jose of TaC Studios in building a modern home in a city that is dominated by traditional ones. This is an updated review; we've since completed our house, and it has been thrilling! We started the project by interviewing several local architecture firms and quickly narrowed ourselves down. Since then, we have not for a second regretted our choice, and we can't imagine a better team than Jose and Cara to partner with us in this project. From the get-go, even including selection of the site, they have been tireless, enthusiastic, motivated, and imaginative. They have been and continue to be our advocates and our guides in helping us achieve the house of our dreams. (Yes, it sounds cheesy, but it is true...) The specific reasons we love them: 1. They are a small outfit, so we know that we are getting their personal attention. 2. Cara has an incredible attention to detail. 3. We love their design aesthetic. 4. They could easily design a beautiful home for us that replicates their previous work, but they are taking the time and energy to design a home specifically for us and our lives. Cara has taken the time to get to know us as a family and help us conceive of a home that will fit our life down to every last detail. 5. They are mindful of our budget. 6. They pay attention to the mundane details that may not be sexy, but make for a functional and live-able home in the end, e.g. the width of the hallways, the incline of the stairs, the placement of windows. 7. They are experienced with "green" technologies and have build LEED certified homes. 8. Even after completion of our home, Cara and Jose continue to be our advocates with our builder. I could go on and on, but will leave it at that. We absolutely feel that we are in good hands.

The word that best describes my experience with TaC Studios is "perfect". My partner and I decided to build our dream house together. The only thing that we absolutely knew before we began the process was that we wanted something modern and "green". An architect friend of mine suggested that we contact TaC Studios. We had never worked with an architect before so we had no idea what to expect. From our first meeting we knew that we had made the right decision. Cara and Jose provided us with practical but gentle guidance throughout the whole process. They took our wish list and turned it into a house that continues to exceed our expectations. At every step they made us think about that way we live our lives and how our house could be designed to make our lives easier. They asked us to picture ourselves in the space and imagine what it would be like to actually live in it. The result is a home that is not only beautiful but practical. "Practical" is not a particularly sexy word in the world of architecture but when it comes to home design it is essential to creating a space that meets the everyday needs that everyone takes for granted. From the amount of natural light that illuminates the space to the location of the dishwasher in relation to the cabinets, Cara and Jose thought of everything. We could not be happier with the results. The process did have its aggravating moments but Cara and Jose were there with us throughout the process. We absolutely could not have gotten through it without them. I actually think they should add "construction therapy" to their resume! I can recommend them to anyone building a house from the ground up without reservation
