where do I begin? I LOVE this woman and her art! it comes from Lynn's soul and I am honored to be the link between lynn's paintings and our clients. interior design can be tricky, especially when it comes to artwork. It so personal. I can say we have made many clients really happy and feel incredibly special with the artwork we have placed. From the studio, the concept, the process, approach, the medium, the scale, depth and texture... It's so good. thank you Lynn Base for sharing your creativity with us! Lynn's work is fantastic.... She calls herself a painter.... but I think she is equal part sculptor and when you look at her work and technique you will see why. Most of the work that I have seen are from her Encaustic series... where Lynn melts colored beeswax on either board or paper. The resulting melted wax, unmelted wax and charred substrate is visually stunning. The texture has to be seen in person to truly be appreciated. Lynn is a professional artist, I am not only referring to her beautiful work but also her willingness to host my clients in her studio, her desire to continue to learn and develop as well as her amazing studio assistant Chelsea. They are a pleasure to work with and I have sold Lynn's work to several clients.... including a piece I have hanging in my own foyer.
