Ghiloni Granite is a great company for big or small projects. I have seen their work and it is great. I know the owner, Jonathan, and he is honest and hardworking. What is really great also is they do counters and tile, it can be a hassle when doing a remodel, to coordinate separate contractors that are working in the same palace. Going with Ghiloni solves that challenge.

We have completed a small kitchen refresh project that included removing the existing granite kitchen counters and backsplash in our downtown San Diego condo unit and replacing the counters with engineered quartz and the backsplash with specialty tile. For that part of the work, we needed an experienced and licensed fabricator to custom cut and install the quartz countertops and install the tile. After substantial research and a personal meeting with Jonathan Ghiloni, we selected his company, Ghiloni Granite Design. From our very first meeting, we felt comfortable with Jonathan and there were several reasons that we chose Ghiloni. First, we wanted an experienced and licensed fabricator who understood the challenges of working in a high rise community, like limited parking, restricted hours, and the need to coordinate for elevator access. Jonathan’s workers were prompt, efficient, and very good at what they did. Second, we wanted a fabricator who would work with us to achieve our vision for the finished project. We had selected a quartz product that required great care in laying out so as to match the pattern with the fewest seams and the least number of expensive quartz sheets. Jonathan understood our concerns and he invited us to visit his studio to see how he proposed to lay out the quartz to match the pattern and end up with only two seams. Jonathan’s personal attention to detail and his willingness to go the extra mile demonstrated his commitment to making sure that we got what we wanted. Finally, we wanted someone with strong recommendations. And when we did our research it was clear that Jonathan and his team were highly regarded by all his customers and the finished projects reflected the high quality craftsmanship that that we were looking for. This was the easiest fix in history. We manage a vacation rental home in Coronado. The previous tenant accidentally nicked the quartz waterfall counter top on the edge. I went on line, googled "counter top repair San Diego" got Ghiloni and one other company. I clicked on Ghiloni, about 2 minutes later Cynthia called me from Ghiloni. She had me send her a photo of the nick to send to the techs. They looked at it, said it would be $100 to fix. We scheduled it for the next day. Nacho came and fixed in less than 20 minutes. Super wonderful.
