For a complete remodel of our condo kitchen, both bathrooms and dining area we chose Stud Construction their follow through was much appreciated both in workmanship and completing the job on time as promised. They were very easy to reach by phone with any concerns or questions I had during the process. I highly recommend Andrei and the Stud Construction Company.

We recently finished building our new home and working with Stud Construction (Andrei and Radu) as our general contractor. We hired Stud after interviewing multiple high level, local contractors with experience in our neighborhood that we found here on Houzz, based on Andrei's ease of communication, responsiveness to our project particulars, but most of all our ability to see his past work. Stud had completed several houses in Niguel Shores before we started, and we walked through two of them and spoke with the owners. Both owners were enthusiastic in their appreciation for Andrei and the whole Stud team, and even several years after project completion both houses had stood the test of time in their quality of workmanship. When we started the project with Andrei, he took the time to understand our goals and brought in an amazing architect (Subtrakt - Atieh) that hit our modern design sensibilities but with a great sense of place given our neighborhood along the Dana Point coast. Our beachy modern idea came to life in her design, as she drew out the complete rebuild and expansion of the 50 year old house that we had purchased. As we finished design and budget work, we had the inevitable discussion about where to cut cost from a dream project that had outgrown our resources, and Andrei was friendly and workable in suggesting the tweaks that could bring things back into our parameters. In what can be a very defensive, touchy process, Andrei consistently took a warm and partnering approach to achieving our goals. We got a later start than we hoped due to HOA and city approval delays, but Stud delivered on time and on budget once we passed those hurdles. The organization and professionalism of the entire Stud team was extremely impressive, as the only delay was for fire sprinkler inspections that were out of their control - but even with that they still delivered on time! We had previously renovated an entire house inside and out, so while this was our biggest project we were no strangers to the process. Stud far exceeded our experience working with our past contractors and we would highly recommend them to anyone embarking on a large scale house build/rebuild/remodel project.

Andrei and team made our massive remodel project feel seamless. They were on-time, detail-oriented, passionate and communicative. It was our first remodel and we were blown away by the ease of the experience. They did not stop until everything was perfect. Stud Construction was a true pleasure to work with from beginning to end. We were able to stay in the house while under construction because from demolition to completion, the team was on time every morning and cleaned up every evening. We had a complete kitchen and bath remodel including knocking down two interior walls. Our lead, Radu Birle, was extremely professional, and was really available to discuss any changes, or answer any question throughout the project. I especially loved the app they used that scheduled out the project week by week. I highly recommend this company for your projects!

Andrei and his team at STUD Construction are quite simply the best. As someone who teaches small business management, I have high expectations for how business should be conducted. STUD exceeds these expectations- going above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of. Home remodels are notoriously stressful but Andrei and his team at STUD Construction do everything they can to minimize the stress and make the process enjoyable. They set out to delight the customer and make sure that the customer is satisfied with their remodeled home, and they not only meet this goal but they have wowed me with their work, I wholeheartedly would recommend them to anyone who is interested in their services.

Stud construction was always on point and easy to get a hold of. They worked alongside our insurance for the remodel of our house that caught fire. Some issues did occur but they were mostly from vendors who had sent the wrong materials. Overall we were very pleased with Studs workers and their professionalism throughout our incident.

They completely renovated our almost 5,000 square foot house from top to bottom; everything was changed including the addition of a custom wine cabinet we designed with them, as well as a large custom steel fireplace we saw in a magazine. They were able to duplicate it exactly. We had had such a great experience, we’d love to get them out to Idaho someday to build us a house out there. Seriously. Just don’t even bother looking elsewhere. STUD is the best!!

Working with Andrei and Stud Construction was an absolute pleasure! He gave us so many options and ideas with respect to our total gut remodel that it couldn’t have gone any better. We removed walls, raised ceilings, repiped the entire home and it came out fantastic. The initial bid was accurate and on budget but kept evolving as we decided to make many changes along the way which wasn’t an issue for Andrei and the team. Definitely a contractor who is hands on and involved in everything from start to finish. We spoke to 6 contractors before going with Stud and we couldn’t have made a better decision! He’s definitely doing our next home when we’re ready.

Stud Construction completed a three month remodel on my home. The scope of the work included: 1) a complete new kitchen design with new cabinetry, appliances and island, counter tops and tile work; 2) a remodeled master bath, converting a tub to a tiled shower, new vanity top and lighted mirror; 3) removal of an entry landing and all new flooring throughout; 4) all new lighting and electrical; 5) installation of a new HVAC and tankless water heater; 6) creating and installing a new front door; 7) re bricking the fireplace hearth; 8) creating a new kitchen window; and 9) painting the interior and exterior of the house. The contractor and sub contractors were efficient, friendly, communicative and easy to work with. The work was of high quality. Stud Construction was transparent and honest in their work and pricing. I am very happy with the completed project.

Andrei and the team at STUD are absolutely incredible. From our first meeting, Andrei had a vision for our remodel that we could not have imagined. As we moved into the project, we were first time remodelers and did not know what to expect. Every step of the process was transparent, smooth and clear. I loved the extreme attention to detail in the estimate, and that same perfectionist mindset was applied to every room of the house. I did not have to stress because I knew they were all over it. Our home is stunning, and the craftsmanship is top notch. Plus the team was so kind and organized. I am so grateful for the experience with STUD and would do it all over again.

After having met with several contractors to do a complete renovation on our home, we knew immediately after meeting with Andrei, that we trusted STUD Construction to do the work. From start to finish, the communication, the attention to detail, and the transparency every step of the way gave us reassurance and confidence that we were in good hands. This was a very old 56-year-old home that had unexpected and sometimes tricky problems arise during the process because of its age, and Andrei and his team, Radu, Jak, Christian, Sunshyne and the rest of his team, were able to come up with solutions and figure out fixes that were above and beyond our expectations for this house. On more than one occasion Andrei asked his subs to redo something, that we never noticed, because it wasn't up to STUDS's standard. This was a big project and they always were respectful of the surrounding neighbors in keeping the property as clean as possible and the neighbors voiced their appreciation on several occasions. Their craftsmanship and experience and attention to many details that we hadn't considered made our dream home far more than we ever imagined. Stud Construction remodeled our house. We are so happy with the quality of work that they did and how beautiful it turned out. They did exactly what they promised and then so much more. Stud Construction did a complete remodel (down to the studs) of our home in Dana Point and we are very satisfied with their handling of the project and the end results. They managed all aspects of our remodel; from the initial interior and exterior design, through building and construction, to finished carpentry and cabinets. We worked with STUD construction for our kitchen/family room remodel. This was our 2nd job with STUD, previously they completed a water leak repair which involved flooring and a bathroom. This job involved a complete kitchen/family room gut with a wall removal, island build, windows, and custom cabinets. From our initial meetings with Andrei, Radu, and Kurt (designer), they offered many suggestions and worked with our ideas. Throughout the job, they provided an app which was helpful at following the job timeline. Our job was completed on schedule and we are thrilled with the results. While not a “bargain” operation, they work with your budget and deliver very high quality results. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, high quality operation that is family owned and operated.

After interviewing five other contractors, we hired STUDconstruction because we had a good feeling about them… and we were right! Our home was built in 1965, with little to no upgrades done. The first floor was in dire need of a facelift, and we had an idea of what we wanted to see. Kurt was able to take our vision and turned it into a design to fit what we wanted. Andrei really helped us from straying too far from our budget and keeping on top of things. The entire endeavor involved gutting our entire first floor, removing two walls, moving the kitchen, raising a sunken living room, changing doors and windows, updating the stairs and railings, replacing all the plumbing, updating the electrical in the first floor, and remodeling a bathroom. The time it took for the actual construction was longer than we anticipated, but they really made sure that everything was perfect. The attention to detail, and the care that they took to ensure that the job was done correctly, is exactly what one would look for in a professional. The Stud construction guys did a great job at rebuilding my house after a fire which almost destroyed it. Andrei and his team were upfront and always open to our new ideas. My house caught in July of 2016. Once insurance was settled, Stud construction was on the job. Thank you guys for a great job and I wish I had posted this earlier.

Approximately 18 months ago we where fortunate to have interviewed and hired the team from Stud Construction to handle our whole house remodel/rebuild. We interviewed a few different people and immediately felt most comfortable with the team from Stud Construction. The project included navigating a challenging HOA that was very restrictive with what and how things could be done. Stud Construction was spot on in handling all of their requests, and working within the CC&R’s and still accomplishing all we wanted and needed to be done . They went to multiple HOA board meetings on our behalf, and showed incredible patience and flexibility that was required to complete the project within our community. The project also took place in Dana Point which has its fare share of restrictions and demands. The team from Stud Construction worked with the City to complete all requirements from a permit perspective and we never had to lift a finger as it relates to this. Every sub-contractor that Stud Construction had on our project showed a high standard. They where all very professional, and highly skilled. We got many comments from our neighbors on how courteous and respectful our crews where, and how clean our site was at the end of the day. Our project had its fair share of challenges along the way. Any challenge that arose the team from Stud tackled each one head on. We where presented with multiple options on how to address, along with costs and trade offs associated with each option. As it relates to the budget process and tracking of our progress. Stud Construction uses a great tool called Co-Construct which tracked the progress of our project along with our budget and where we stand there. It also serves as the site that we as the owners communicated with Stud Construction. It was extremely useful and easy to use. You will see from our pictures that this was basically a new build. All electrical/plumbing/drywall/windows/doors/the 2nd floor/landscaping/roof where all replaced. With the exception of a few pieces of wood Stud Construction built us a new house. The Quality is amazing. The vision and the ability to execute by Stud Construction was amazing also. Stud Construction has earned through the execution on our project a VERY VERY positive review. We are thankful to have worked with them. They are skilled, they answer the phone, they are thoughtful and for that we are grateful.

We hired STUDconstruction to help us with the reconstruction of our home after a fire and are very pleased with their service and work. They came highly recommended through a work colleague. Andrei was instrumental in making sure the project moved on time and on budget. We bought our first house and hired STUDconstruction to help us turn it into our dream home. From the initial call/meeting, Andrei and his team have been very transparent, honest, and a pleasure to work with! We wanted to remodel the entire house and Andrei helped us break it down into two Phases, so that we can accomplish it all. Phase 1 included renovating 3 bedrooms and completely gutting and redoing the two bathrooms. We always brag about how great our contractors are and that they made it all happen! Now we are about to start remodeling the rest of our house and of course we choose STUDconstruction for their quality work and dependability. We can’t wait to see how Phase 2 turns out!

What an amazing Job Stud Construction did!! We had a pipe leak that lead to us to basically doing a huge remodel. From the emergency call to Andrei, to all our add on's Stud Construction handled it all with great professionalism. Andrei handled all the insurance needs, worked directly with them, and sent us all correspondences. We chose to add on new areas to remodel through out the project, and wow did they do a great job. Radu was our Project Manager and was awesome! No matter what little thing needed a to be done, fixed or reworked he was on it with a smile ( or a whistle ;) . They are trustworthy to the end , because they don't just care about the job, but your happiness. They want you to enjoy the home that they helped create. If your not happy, they aren't happy. Thank you Andrei, Radu and the whole Stud Construction team for the wonderful work you did !!

How else can I say this...look no further, this is the firm you’ve been looking for. We used the Houzz website to locate design/build firms for our entire home renovation. This renovation took place while we lived on the East coast. After meeting with multiple firms our decision was very simple, we found the best in Stud Construction. Andrei and Kurt brought our dreams to reality and then some. The professionalism, peace of mind and quality they bring is priceless.

STUD construction proved to be the right choice in contractor for us after interviewing 7 others. They are not the lowest priced option, but you get what you pay for with them. They do high quality work with an attention to detail. Often they required re-work of their vendors before we even identified an issue. We appreciated that they were patient and understanding with some financing snags we had at the outset. They were also willing to work with us to find ways to allow us to stay as close to our budget as possible. Nearly all cost increases from the original proposal were a result of new work added to the scope vs poor estimates upfront. They are good people that care about your job and more importantly care about you and your family. I would definitely recommend them, if you are considering a major remodel. We are stallion the process of moving in, but will post pictures in the future.

We hired Stud Construction to restore part of our home after a slab leak. They were professional and helpful right from the start. Andrei dealt with the insurance company and completed all necessary paperwork for our mortgage company. Once the scope of the project was recognized, his crew worked efficiently and quickly. Our project consisted of replacing hardwood flooring, drywall repair, tile work, bathroom vanity installation, baseboards and door trim, and paint. Each worker was skilled in his craft. Once the work was finished, they help us move furniture back in the house, clean up was taken care of, as well touch up. We are extremely happy with the completed project! Our next project will be to remodel our kitchen, and Stud Construction will be our only call!

We bought a fixer upper and transformed it into our forever home, with the STUD construction team's help. We could not recommend the team highly enough - Owner Andrei, designer/architect Kurt, and team lead Radu. Every individual on the STUD team is professional, courteous, and highly skilled at what they do. Our project was delivered on time, and we had full visibility and transparency to costs along the way. Even sub-contracted teams arrived when they were supposed to, cleaned up after themselves, and did exemplary work. Our project was very broad - we gutted the entire home down to the studs, replaced all electrical and plumbing, installed new windows and doors, and moved a few walls. Home remodeling is always stressful, but the STUD team made it fun and collaborative. We live in an amazing house that is truly a reflection of our family, and even better, we have wonderful memories about how it got built and the team that helped us make it happen.

Very knowledgeable and professional company that was always on top of things. They were easy to deal with and always available when contacted. The quality of work was of outstanding. Getting through the city of Laguna Beach building and safety department was not an easy task, but they handled it perfectly. I would highly recommend this company for any construction needs, large or small.

Stud Construction came in to do a remodel job that was the result of a pipe leak we had in the wall. They were able to do the remodel QUICKLY (once the HoA patched up the wall) since we were in the hospital for the birth of my son at the time. When we left home, everything was covered in plastic, and when we returned, it was so refreshing to have the entire job completely. What a stress relief. I took off a star because the prefab countertop they installed cracked around the thin area around the sink. I'm sure this isn't uncommon, and perhaps wasn't their fault. They tried to come out and seal/refinish the crack, but with no success. To their credit, they tried, and it isn't a terribly noticeable crack. But it was a bit of a bummer for our brand new kitchen. They're great people though. They were able to get us compensated by the insurance company for much more than they originally quoted, and we didn't have to do any of the legwork. A company that deals with insurance FOR you? Sign me up for that.

I would highly recommend Stud Construction and Andrei Damian for projects of any size. Our project was an almost-total house restoration following a fire. His project management platform with online access to communicate and make selections and changes was very attractive from the beginning and proved to be invaluable in moving the project along. His crew showed up in force when they were supposed to. They began the work right away and moved it along. Andrei had a project manager onsite who was also part of the crew but was available to consult with project changes or questions. The entire project took approx 9 months from demo to move in - sooner than we expected. Andrei and Radu's knowledge about products helped us to make informed decisions about systems and materials. The quality of the work was impressive also. We have not had any major issues that required an additional visit. They were responsive to make adjustments and modifications during the process and helped us stay on budget. And the suggestions made based on their experience helped us to make great improvements to this home. Andrei worked well and closely with our public adjustor and prepared the information required by the insurance company to get the approvals needed so that we could get coverage for the damage that was created. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and expertise. They primarily do large projects (entire house) and I wish they were available for smaller projects!

It has been our distinct pleasure to have worked with Stud Construction, specifically Andrei Damina. Andrei has a tremendous work ethic, which is clearly evident by the quality and integrity of the personal they employ. Andrei is highly organized, has an outstanding ability to problem solve and then organize other trades to ensure a timely completion of the project. My company has completed 7 projects throughout 2016 with Andrei. Important considerations are given when selecting a general contractor, such as, communication, organization and follow thru to name a few (i.e. is the contractor doing his job, organizing sub-contractors effectively, and or is the job clean and free of obvious hazards, etc.). Andrei has all this in control, each and every time. I can honestly say he is one of the most highly skilled general contractors we have had the pleasure to work with. To put it simply, they consistently exceed client’s expectations which is why we enjoy working with him on projects.

Stud filled 2 roles for us. When we interviewed Stud, we found that they had an amazing eye for design, as well as, being very impressive contractors. They worked seamlessly with our designer, stayed on time and within budget. The best part is that we love our new home.....it is perfect. WOW In february of 2016 we had a house fire and needed a general contractor/ remodel after careful review of about 30 different companies who came to my home to give me business cards. I chose STUD CONSTRUCTION. It was the best choice i could have made. The day after the fire i had a waiting line of claims adjusters, lawyers and construction representatives at my door. Each company was told the same thing. Just leave me your card and i will check you out on BBB the california license board and the california court system for any law suits. Andrei and his company stood out as one of the best reviewed NO problems on any of those sights. Their initial representative had said to me “ YES check us out by all means.” The estimate went as well as can be expected. After we had 4 estimates Stud construction was closest to our insurance estimate almost to the dollar. We agreed to hire them and next day Andrei came out and had a thorough discussion of the project. Since we had to do this we also went with a lot of remodelling including two complete bathroom remodels. A kitchen remodel and removal of a load bearing wall this was in addition to the fire and smoke damage. Andrei and his designer Kurt were great throughout this whole process. Very helpful informative and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough about their professionalism or the quality of the work. They worked within our time schedule and had all the permits and even dealt directly with our mortgage company and insurance company. Stud Construction went above and beyond meeting my expectations the project was done BEAUTIFULLY and correctly. Andrei and Kurt are great guys to work with. It was always like working WITH them every step of the way we made decisions together. They would input an idea or we would and a plan would be done to do what we all thought was best

Bottom line, Andrei and his team did quality, affordable work quickly and professionally. This is the second major remodeling job that Stud Construction has done for us over the past couple of years (first was kitchen, bathroom, flooring, stucco, tearing down walls, etc, second was carpet, master bathroom, ceilings, lighting, closets, etc). They were incredibly organized with our project. Their online tool allows them to share photos, request feedback, see the timeline and budget at any step of the process. They were helpful with suggestions, took the time to take me to different stores to pick out the right materials, and they did ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS WORK! I could not possibly recommend Andrei and his team at Stud Construction more!

Last year our home suffered significant damage (around $200,000) from a washing machine malfunction that seriously flooded the home and cause extensive damage. Our insurance company would not recommend a contractor. Our home was unliveable we did not know what to do. Stud Construction and Andrei was recommended to us. He was unbelievable! Since most of the home was having to be repaired (floors, paint, drywall, etc) we elected to contribute some additional funds and completely remodel the home. Andrei came up with many, many key ideas and suggestions that frankly we could not envision, but he could. He helped us pick out floor coverings (wood and tile), kitchen cabinets, wall colors, new fixtures, suggested new closets spaces, designed our office area, and even small ideas like having our laundry room door swing out instead of in) And once the home was back together, his ideas were fabulous. Every one of his workers was professional, highly skilled, neat, knowledgeable and did flawless work. But that wasn't enough for Andrei, he is an absolute (and I do mean absolute) perfectionist the likes of which I have never seen before. Even though the work his men did looked fabulous to me and my wife. Andrei went over every inch of our home with blue tape and made corrects that were not even noticeable to us. In the end, the work his company did was absolutely perfect in ever respect. His ideas and suggestions were spot on. I cannot possibly give Stud Construction a high enough recommendation. It was a pleasure working with Andrei and his crew. They are true professionals and it would be impossible for another contractor to do a better job. Five stars hardly says enough.

Stud Construction just finished a major remodel on our downstairs, and we are extremely satisfied with every detail. We began the process due to a slab leak, and we had trouble getting any other company to come help us and return our calls. Andrei immediately called us back and was at our house that same day measuring our water damage levels. He was very helpful and answered all our questions during a very stressful time. His company and crew dealt so well with our reconstruction process, we knew we wanted to hire Stud Construction to complete our remodel. Due to this, we then hired Stud Construction to remodel and reconfigure our kitchen, remodel our bathroom, and take out a wet bar and create a new walk in pantry. Andrei had fantastic ideas about lighting our dark house, wall configuration, fixtures and overall design. Radu, the project manager, was always extremely helpful, patient and answered every one of my questions thoroughly. Kurt was very helpful with design details, including tile selection and cabinet configuration. Add to this that Andrei was very sensitive to budget, and he delivered what he promised without putting in extra costs. My husband and I appreciated the professionalism of the company. They kept on schedule as promised and had a great planning, budget and communication tool through computer and phone apps. This helped us tremendously. I already have recommended Stud Construction to several friends, and I will continue to both recommend and use them in the future.

Hiring Stud Construction was the best decision I made to handle a $400K+ remodel (basically a rebuild) on an original 1976 ranch home. Stud Construction (Andrei, Radu and Kurt) are professional, wise and hard workers. They delivered on the timeframe agreed to; they had large teams working hard and quickly and the added bonus, they had great ideas with reasons why it was a smart change. I appreciated that they had the same Supervisor leading his team everyday and knew the finite details of the job. Thank you Radu! They are not the least expensive, but you get what you pay for...Stud is licensed, insured and bonded. They are young men with families who live in the area, are involved in the community and therefore committed to keeping their stellar reputation while driving their company to succeed with integrity. I've been in the remodeling, "flipping" business for 25 years and have vast experience, so I've seen the good (actually "great" in Stud Construction) and the very bad (thieves that make promises, take your money and then disappear).

I was very impressed about the job done by Stud construction and especially Mr. Andrei Damian. He was very professional, honest. He did an excellent job with the time frame he promised. We had a flood in our laundry room on a Sunday evening. That evening we went to the Houz website and chose one of the recommendations . Monday morning early, we called Stud Construction and Andrei the owner answered the phone. We told him the situation. He assured us he would be down early that morning to assess the situation. His follow through and promptness was very much appreciated. He walked us through the steps that needed to be taken and we were able to get things going as rapidly as possible. This was very important to us as we provide full time care for our 2 toddler grand daughters under the age of 4. Between Andrei and Chubb Insurance things were under way. We did not get any other estimates because we felt so confident that Andrei would follow through. Most recent, we received a call from Andrei letting us know our barn door was in (we waited approximately 2 months) and ready to be installed. He had already been paid in full. This restores our confidence that there are GOOD contractors out there and ethical ones as well. The 4* instead of 5* was only because of small details. I would consider Stud Construction for future remodels.

I hired Stud Construction to install a bar in my kitchen area, as well as updating the counter top, sink, faucet, and back splash in my 2nd bathroom. The quality of the work performed was good overall, Andrei and Kurt were great at communicating with me, and they completed the project on time. As a matter of fact, every person that worked on the project was very nice and communicated well. The only reason why I give them 4 out of 5 is that some of the details of the work could've been done a bit better. For example, their counter top guy could've done a better job with hiding the line in the counter tops where the stone comes together, (this line is virtually invisible in the counter tops that my builder installed,) and the pattern the tile back splash didn't line-up perfectly. However, overall I would definitely recommend using them to others.

Stud Construction did our remodel project last year. We added on about 600 sq feet, removed walls and gutted our kitchen. And we are so glad they went with this company! They are trustworthy, extremely professional and are very committed to their jobs. The whole project was done in about 3 months and it was done with the highest quality workmanship. They also had wonderful suggestions with regards to the design element of the job. Guests who come to our home have been wowed by the job they did and someone recently told me that it looks like a model home. These guys know what they are doing! They were committed to the project and worked hard to help our family get into our home as quickly as possible.

After speaking with Andre at Stud Construction, I hired him to restore/remodel my kitchen and family room after incurring water damage. They were helpful and conscientious, were willing to work with my budget and around my schedule and did a good job. They were reliable and responsible as well as professional and flexible. They helped make a stressful situation less so. I am happy with the results and would recommend them to my friends and family.

We hired Stud Construction to repair our home after a fire. We added some remodeling scope outside of the fire repairs. Andrei came highly recommended from the public adjustors we hired and the references he provided. A good contractor shall be responsive, have a high standard of quality, be detail oriented, and be able to set and maintain a schedule. Andrei can do all of these things well. I was impressed by his ability to work with the insurance adjustor and organize the repairs around the remodeling work. He utilized the co-construct website which was very helpful when it comes to approving design and finish selections and track correspondence. Andrei's recommendations for shopping and selecting finishes both online and locally were great. We are glad to be back in our house and happy with the results.

It's been a pleasure working with Andrei and his team at Stud Construction. We did a complete remodel of our house earlier this year (2015). After going through tons of contractors on Houzz, yelp, etc, we selected Andrei because he was the easiest to communicate with, used the latest technologies and had fresh and relevant ideas. During the remodel process Andrei and his team did an excellent job staying on target and when the inevitable problems did arise, they never once complained. They communicated the situation, offered up solutions, then committed to resolve the issue, even staying late and coming in on the weekends to get the job done. We're very happy with the complete product. They had some excellent ideas that came out wonderfully and everything else looks very professional. I would definitely recommend their services. In fact, we used them again right away for a small office project and were very happy with that as well.

After coming home one evening we realized we had a slab leak in the kitchen. After meeting with a bunch of contractors Stud Construction stood out from the crowd. We used them for the water remediation and a full kitchen remodel. We also had them do flooring and some other work on the 1st floor. Andrei was easy to work with, knowledgeable, helpful, and understanding of our needs. He was easy to get a hold of and responsive. The team was great as well. It was great to be able to turn a negative event (slab leak) into a positive outcome and Stud Construction played a huge part. Loving our new kitchen! When our elderly parents' home was flooded in April, we made the decision to move to Mission Viejo to facilitate the clean-up, demo, and remodel of their home as they live in an assisted living facility. Since we were not from the area, I began to ask neighbors for recommendations, but they only had people who did one aspect of the work and we really wanted a trust-worthy, dependable contractor to come in and handle the job from start to finish. One night, in the wee hours, I came across a rave review on Houzz.com for a company called Stud Construction. Well, I loved the name because it is so clever, and I was impressed by the before and after photos of work they have done on homes which were far more damaged due to floods and fires. I decided to start with them, but intended to interview several contractors. When Andrei arrived, it only took a few moments for me to realize we were definitely going with Stud Construction. His knowledge of handling insurance claims, as well as his ability to quickly put our minds at ease by assuring us that he would be with us every step of the way to make sure our home was repaired to meet our expectations made our decision very easy. Due to issues with our insurance company and a few hiccups along the way - none being the fault of Stud Construction - our project took over 4 months, but full-on construction was more like 3 months. We were so impressed with each member of Andrei's team that we began to consider them more like family. Alex would often break into song while working. Christian always arrived early to chat for a bit and then worked so diligently and with such perfection. Radu went above and beyond in helping me with clearing away clutter and helping with design ideas. Andrei was available 24/7 and literally became like a little brother to me, walking us through the process, step by step and ultimately creating a home that far exceeded our expectations. Kurt's designs were always right on target for what we wanted and, like Andrei, he was always available to answer any question and help make the entire process run smoothly. Unfortunately, while our home turned out absolutely beautiful, my story does not have a happy ending as my partner passed away suddenly on October 16th, just as we were finished with the interior of our home and beginning work on the exterior. Andrei and the entire Stud team were so supportive of me and our family during this tragic time. I will forever be grateful to them. They continued to finish our home and it is everything Alan and I would have wanted. More importantly, they are men of integrity and honor and compassion and kindness. Their skill and craftsmanship is beyond the 5 stars Houzz gives, but their generosity of spirit and loving kindness would receive an infinite star rating from me.

We woke up one morning to water coming out of our baseboards & knew from a previous slab leak we had, the next few weeks were going to be a bit uncomfortable. What we didn't realize was the extent of the damage. The majority of our kitchen cabinets were affected & the process of working with insurance, clean up crews & reconstruction contractors quickly became quite overwhelming. We found Stud Construction on Houzz and asked them (along with 7 other contractors) to come & give us an estimate for repairs. Andrei with Stud Construction immediately stood out to my husband & I as the most professional, honest, experienced contractor for the job. As we began to work with our insurance adjuster we quickly realized using a contractor experienced in the insurance claim process (which is quite cumbersome) made our lives much easier. Not only did we benefit from Andrei's knowledge & experience in the insurance claim process but his team did an outstanding job mediating mold, rebuilding/replacing our entire kitchen, replacing 7 walls, painting the entire downstairs, re texturing the entire downstairs ceiling & enhancing the aesthetics of our fireplace. We have nothing but praises about the knowledge, professionalism, reliability & great work we received from this team!!! We would not think twice about hiring them again.

My wife and I hired Andrei Damian and Stud Construction to completely remodel our kitchen, family room, and entryway. Andrei and his team of professional craftsmen did an amazing job on our home. Andrei helped us redesign the layout of cabinets and certain appliances in our kitchen, and used software to show us the new look before we approved the final plan. This use of technology was instrumental in allowing us to see the design before signing off on the work—and the final product is even more amazing than the plans themselves. We were referred to Stud Construction via our neighbor who recently remodeled their home. Needless to say, we where extremely pleased with not only their quality of work, but also their professionalism overall. Andrei and his team completed the work on our home when they said they would, were competitively priced, respected our home during construction (furniture, cleanliness, etc...), and even went above their responsibilities to insure the work was done properly and to our standards. Stud Construction and Andrei Damian did extensive repair and remodeling to my home after a severe water leak caused damage to multiple bedrooms. I live internationally and had to rely entirely on Andrei and his team to take full control of the situation, work with my insurance carrier, and complete the work to professional specifications. I can't say enough about how incredible it has been working with Andrei. He is one of the best professional builders I have worked with. Some of the things I appreciated most about him: always available and responsive; pro-active in making value engineering suggestions, improvements, and design ideas that added tremendous value to the project; highly responsible; timely in conducting the work; held his sub-contractors to very high standards of quality. Living abroad and not being able to manage the work myself, I am not sure how we would have coped without someone of Andrei's ability to take control and execute efficiently to such a high standard. We had a significant house fire in July 2012. Andrei and the team at STUD Construction were terrific during the entire process. They were empathetic to our situation and finished every aspect of the job to our complete satisfaction. Andrei worked tirelessly to submit a detailed scope of work to the insurance company ensuring we were able to get the best possible reimbursement. We reconstructed the house on the inside down to the studs and repainted and made exterior cosmetic changes. This was a difficult time for our family but working with Andrei was a bright spot. He is a man of his word. Our house looks terrific and we could not be happier with the quality of work provided.

Last year, our 2-story home was flooded by a fire sprinkler pipe leak in the attic. We had extensive water damage throughout the entire home from floor to ceiling, wall to wall, on both floors. Fortunately, our homeowners insurance company covered all damages and repairs. The insurance company gave us the option to hire our own building contractor for remodeling or use one of their recommended building contractors. So we chose to meet with both contractors and our insurance adjuster for a thorough walk-thru of the home to assess damages and all needed repairs. Andrei Damian of STUD Construction was one of the contractors. Andrei was impressively knowledgable and obviously experienced in all aspects of construction. He pointed out important details that neither the other contractor nor the adjuster observed and/or noted. He also had the most efficient and the best ideas in resolving various construction issues, clearly looking out for our best interest providing us with the best solutions and the best quality product. By the end of the wal-thru, my husband and I were clearly convinced that STUD Construction was our best choice, hands down! The insurance adjuster was obviously impressed as well and shared that with us. In addition, Andrei was proficient and worked with the computer program that the insurance required to be used to generate all construction details and calculated costs of the entire job. STUD Construction began work immediately even before the insurance company provided funds for the work. Andrei was very attentive and informative in providing us all pertinent information we needed to be aware or expect and/or needed to make decisions on. He listened and answered all questions and concerns we had. He would specifically note our wishes and preferences and would make sure he would provide us with a final product as close as possible to what we wanted or better! He was meticulous, very attentive to detail, and was consistently in control of all work being done at all times. He always provided proper supervision of all workers and subcontractors that performed any work in the home and clearly informed them of what was expected. All jobs were completed within the time-frame projected. He was always punctual, was always available by phone, and promptly returned phone calls and/or quickly followed up on any issue or conflict that would arise. We never had any surprises! Andrei directly handled and managed all budget and cost issues with the insurance company; as well as, all inquiries or concerns they would have. We never had to worry about anything. My husband and I felt like he handled the job as if it were his own home. Our home was completed exactly within the time-frame projected by STUD Construction. The quality of work and final product was the best possible! By far, they actually delivered us a better quality home than what we previously even had! Although, it was a difficult experience for my family in other personal aspects; STUD Construction basically made the biggest and most important part of the ordeal run as smooth and as stress-free as possible! My family and I will always be sincerely grateful to Andrei and his company for their honesty and great work ethic they possess. We highly recommend STUD Construction to anyone looking for a good quality company to complete any construction, remodeling, and/or restoration job needed!

Stud Construction was one of several contractors who contacted me after a fire started in my garage and had to be put out by the local fire department. My HOA required that I use a specific contractor for the basic repairs, but I decided it was a good time to do some extensive remodeling having lived in the place for 23 years and doing almost nothing in terms of upgrades I decided to use Stud Construction for the work after meeting with several of the contractors who had contacted me and feeling that Stud was the right company to do the work. I met with Andrei who is the owner and got a real feeling that he understood my vision and was genuinely enthusiastic about making the place look like the pictures I was showing him, all of them from the Houzz website. He felt confident that he could do the project without my having to hire a designer or architect, and that saved me quite a bit of money and time. The project involved a complete downstairs remodel including the living room, family room and kitchen, plus extensive work to the stairway and overhead walkway on the second level of my 1800 sq. foot town home. The flooring was replaced on both floors and two small bedrooms on the second floor were combined into a single larger bedroom. The before and after photos I am attaching will attest to the excellent job that Stud did far more than I can in this brief summary, but suffice to say that the company gets an A+ rating from me for both quality and integrity. I spent quite a bit on the project, but the price was fair and Andrei was always upfront with me about where the money was going and what other work might have to be done based on the decisions I was making. I've also got to give credit to Radu, whom Andrei assigned as the supervisor for my project. Radu has more integrity than almost anyone I know and I knew very early on that my project was in good hands and was going to be a success, and it absolutely was! Kudos also to the other dozen or so workers and trades that Andrei brought in. Every single one of them was top tier. I am now the envy of all my neighbors with my awesome new place and I think there is very little doubt that I have the nicest town home in our 300 unit community!

I am very happy to review Stud Construction. In November of 2012 we experienced a fire in which the entire home was burnt to the ground. Throughout the process Stud construction has been professional, personal and in the end they became like family. There were many hurdles I was unaware of how to handle but I always was guided in the right direction. They were awesome in every way and I would highly recommend this company. Andrei and Radhu were absolutely awesome!!! Three words I would use to describe this company - Dedicated, Honest and committed. I would rehire them without any second thoughts.

Andrei and his team were professional in all aspects of my bathroom remodel. I had a lot of ideas that Andrei helped me sort through to come up with a final design that I am very pleased with. He has a talent for coming up with creative solutions to beautify any space.
