DC Floors

Recently we contacted D.C. Floors to give us a quote to remove existing tile and install 1,000 sq ft of European Porcelain tile. The second project would be to remove carpet and install over 1,200 sq ft of white oak flooring. Their quote was very competitive and most impressive was that they were experts in both types of flooring, making it possible to coordinate the whole project in a very timely manner, as we continued to live in the house during this extensive renovation. As a licensed architect for the past 40-years, I am extremely particular how projects are executed and that required details are performed in a workmanlike fashion. I can say without reservation that David Hernandez and his team of craftsmen exceeded our expectations. D.C. Floors personnel were terrific, organized and perfectionists. They coordinated all the tasks very well, and with no time delays. They always maintained a clean construction site and removed debris daily. David and his crew are awesome! We purchased a 1920's house with original hardwood floors, which were in pretty bad shape. David's crew ripped up several areas of the floor that were really soft and replaced the subfloor and then replaced the hardwood. He also sealed up a basement entrance. It all looks seamless! The floors are beautiful, exactly what I wanted; a matte finish with no yellow tint. To add to it, he is very responsive and shows up when he says he will and does what he says he will do. His prices are also very competitive. I've worked with a lot of contractors and trades in the last 3 years and there are very few that I would actually recommend to anyone, but David is one of the few.
