About Us

Hello! My name is Bartholomew Boeckenstedt and I am a artisanal master carpenter with 25 years of experience. I am a bit of a perfectionist. My company is called The Craftsmen Service Company, LLC and we specialize in flooring installation. We offer the highest quality installation at a very competitive price on engineered, laminate & luxury vinyl planking, but our specialty is tongue & groove, pre-finished, nailed-down hardwood installation. We really care about doing quality work and craftsmanship & giving our customers a high quality installation. We look forward to working with you on your next flooring project! We enjoy seeing people's reactions to the work we do. It makes us happy to see our clients happy. We love the fact that we get to work on people’s homes, and it is quite an honor. We also love meeting new people and usually develop ongoing business relationships with our customers. We enjoy becoming their go-to guys to get their flooring projects done right.

They were awesome! Very nice gentleman and very informative. I hired them in Late January to remodel my floors. Once everything came up, we noticed two big areas of mold in which would have costed us thousands more than what we have already spent. Bart was super understanding and he even replaced those areas saving us the hassle of mold inspectors coming out and “fixing” the mold. We are still in love with the outcome of everything. He does still have to finish the base/trimming in our bedrooms but that is due to the carpet needing to be installed. Other than that, I highly recommend Bart and his crew to anyone and everyone! Looking forward to seeing them soon to finish the work. Thank you and I am so sorry for this review being so late ♀️ I have been crazy busy and came across this and OF COURSE had to put my two cents in.

We hired Bartholomew and his team to install laminate flooring for our entire upstairs living area. We are so glad we went with him after feeling uneasy about working with another contractor. He was able to assist us through the tedious process of choosing flooring and answer all of our questions. His installers were fast and extremely proficient. He was able to work with our schedule. I look at our floor and I think, "It's perfect". The work exceeds our expectations.

We had some water damage to our wood floors and so glad we found the craftsman service company. I called about 5 companies for bids and there were guys that came late to the appointment and we’re unprofessional or just seemed untrustworthy. These guys were honest and hard working guys. We ran into a couple issues with the hardwood we chose but the guys still did an awesome job. They look great and couldn’t be happier with their workmanship. Thanks guys!
