I hired this company to fix the damaged ceiling in my spare bathroom that had been damaged due to water leak in the roof. Luis was the first person willing to take on the job. Others told me it was either too big or too small of a job for them. Luis not only did a fabulous job, his pricing was great. The crew was polite, friendly and cleaned up better than they found it! Highly recommend them.

Luis Ortiz came into our home (job-site), inheriting incomplete, slip-shod and disappointing work which was the result of an abandoned contract. The previous contractor, MICHAEL WEEMS, walked out on his contract leaving us with more construction than when he started. You need this information to 'frame' the remodel situation that Mr. Ortiz agreed to repair and complete to our satisfaction. One example, because of carelessness while replacing second storey exterior siding, holes were left in the first storey masonry which caused leakage and subsequent dry-rot and water damage in a 'newly-remodeled' bathroom. Mr. Ortiz discovered this dry-rot and its cause. By necessity, he repaired the masonry leak, demolished the work done less than a year prior, and rebuilt the entire bathroom to our COMPLETE SATISFACTION. Mr. Ortiz also built or repaired the following: 1. full kitchen remodel 2. replaced staircase 3. plumbing 4. electrical 5. carpentry 6. finish carpentry 7. dry wall 8. glazing 9. painting 10.tile work 11.wood flooring Mr. Ortiz offered suggestions during the remodel that enhanced our ideas. He is an artist and a craftsman as well. Mr. Ortiz was present for every single hour of this project. He did not sub-contract any portion. He was ALWAYS punctual, professional, knowledgeable, maintaining an orderly and CLEAN job-site. He is respectful, kind, courteous, and fair. We are fortunate to know Luis Ortiz, and we recommend his work without reservation. Once again, this man is one of the most forthright, honest, dedicated, and professional people we have ever known. My house was built in 1930. The back of the house is made of wood and the rest of it is stuco. The back of the house was rotting so bad that the window frame caved in when I pressed on it with my index finger. 1stcallremodeling removed everything that had rotted and replaced the wood, painted the house and added flood lights. The house had a major facelift. I've received so many compliments from our neighbors telling us that our house looks so much better.
