A-1 Construction

We chose A-1 Construction from 3 contractor's bids. Ronnie is an excellent contractor. He checked in at least once during the day to make sure that everything was done correctly. We have had contractors who waited until every workman went home before showing up to check their work. Sometimes Ronnie was here 2 or 3 times a day! We felt like everything was under control and we did not feel stressed during the construction. We love our new kitchen!! The workmanship is top notch, and everything looks amazing. Ronnie's attention to detail is the key, and getting the the appropriate workmen here when needed moved everything along very quickly. A1 Construction gets an A+, and we will use them again for our next project!

Ronnie is the BEST! He really cares. A1 did an amazing job. His crew is excellent at their craft. They were on time and clean. I would recommend A1 for any renovation.

Ronnie Friedman at A1 Construction is amazing! His work is impeccable and doing business with him is a pleasure. He offers a price lower than most and keeps his word in regard to budget as well as time frame. He is also very respectful to animals who may be very stressed out to have workmen in their home. I would highly recommend him and his company for jobs both big and small.

Ronnie did some custom work on a new house. He collaborated on the design and then the execution of the project. His estimates were accurate and in budget. He communicates continually and clearly to make the project go well. His crew does excellent work, and they're always happy! He has excellent knowledge in many aspects of home building: concrete floors, drainage, pipes, painting, kitchen remodel, custom fireplace, custom doors, deck, gates, glass garage door and on. His materials knowledge and workmanship is excellent. We have future plans for this home and we definitely hope to get Ronnie for this work. Ok, in the picture we just moved in so it's a mess, but you can see custom fireplace, custom trifold doors, front deck, wood/glass fence, polished concrete floors. This just part of all the great work.

Over the years through kitchen, bathroom and entire floor down to the studs projects Ronnie Friedman and his team of professionals have been our go to team. He has always stood by his work for the unanticipated sometimes years after completion. I look forward to working with him again. I almost forgot he does windows too.

Ronnie and his team did an excellent job on our remodel. They were thoughtful throughout the process, and very detail-oriented. Ronnie does take great pride in his work, and he will re-do any elements that do not meet his standards. Given this was the first remodel project we have ever undertaken, we felt lucky to have Ronnie and his team guide us through the process. And we are thrilled with our new home!

Ronnie's team at A-1 Construction did a fantastic job on completely remodeling our very dated kitchen. He provided ideas and concepts that worked well with our budget and fitted much better with the layout of the house, free design sketches, and was also extremely helpful in providing information on where to source the best deals for fixtures, fittings and appliances. This was a 6 - 8 week project. Work was completed on time and to the original cost estimates (a miracle!). Our project manager Reli was incredibly thoughtful and conscientious, and even when I changed my mind last minute on some features, they were wonderful and very understanding in accommodating this. Given that we were living in the house throughout the remodel, all the builders, tillers, floor installers and painters did a great job in cleaning up at the end of each day, and making the experience as painless as possible. I couldn't be happier with the new kitchen! I highly recommend this firm.

I wholeheartedly recommend Ronnie Friedman and A1 Construction & Designs for any significant remodeling or tear-down/brand-new construction project. We found Ronnie to be genuine, honest, on-time and true to his word. Our remodeling project was accomplished on time and while it exceeded our initial budget, that was purely as a result of additional improvements we decided during. Ronnie has a wealth of knowledge in this business and has done tens of projects around the Beverlywood and Westside areas. He also has good taste and is obsessive about the quality of his work.
