affinity builders has constructed many of my custom-designed homes since 2011. during that period, they've executed a high level of professionalism: in management, technical knowledge, craft, and yes, they show up every day. they've given life to the homeowners' dreams.

Before deciding to build our new home on our existing property of 12 years my husband and I looked at several other homes in our town and decided the best option was to build on our existing property. We hired Bill Parquet after interviewing several other builders. As soon as our demolition/building process started my husband and I quickly knew we made the right decision on hiring Bill Parquet and Affinity builders. Bill brings a wealth of knowledge and attention to detail to the construction process. I worked closely with Bill on a daily basis going over specific design details. Bill values being a custom home builder and would listen to our ideas and knew how to make them happen along with incorporating energy efficient components to the home. Our project involved adding on to an existing older farm house. We built out and up adding a new kitchen, master bedroom, full bathroom, laundry room, three season porch and a new deck. I always felt completely comfortable discussing changes in design and the costs of the project. Inevitably there will be issues to be worked out between the contractor and the groups hired to perform the services, however, I was never put in the middle of these discussions. i would not hesitate to hire this company again for future projects.

The thing I appreciate most in any contractor is the ability to communicate and having an active interest in the work conditions / lead times that affect the quality of work we can deliver. Affinity rates high on both, and this translates into a much better end product for the client. Mr Parquet has used my services for the structural engineering needs for some of his projects in the last six years. During my work relationship, I found him very efficient in his management of complex projects. He has a good discipline in managing money, prompt payments to his subordinates and understanding and appreciation for the value he receives. I am always available to him for his immediate and sometimes urgent needs to maintain tight schedules for his projects.

We hired Affinity Builders to completely renovate our entire house. They oversaw a 6 month project that included a complete overhaul of our kitchen, 8 bathrooms, a porch and bathroom addition and bedroom rearrangement. Bill and his team were exceptionally professional and very in tune with our needs. Bill was very responsive to our requests and took appropriate measures when there were concerns about subcontractors. He alleviated all our fears about taking on a large scale project. His project manager was also meticulous about making sure that things stayed on schedule. Overall, we were very happy with the process and results of the project. We worked with Bill Parquet at Affinity Builders along with our architect and could not have been happier with the results. Our project involved an almost complete gut and remodeling of a 1936 home along with a 2000sf addition. Affinity built our house 3 years ago. The owner, Bill Parquet, was great to work with. The house has lots of detail and a fairly complicated design. It came out great! He continues to be helpful even though we moved in a while ago.
