Michael has done a kitchen remodel for us and, most recently, removed our limestone-faced fireplace. We are extremely pleased with his professional expertise and attention to detail. In the planning stage, he's helpful in defining the project to fit the budget and to get the best bang for the buck. He's very honest and trustworthy--I felt comfortable having him in the house when we were gone and he made great decisions in our absence, in fact, he chose our paint color since I wasn't there to see it in context. He is creative and careful when solving issues which inevitably arise within a project and he kept us apprised of his progress frequently (since we weren't there to see for ourselves). I also appreciate that he will tell you if a job is outside the scope of what he can do (which hasn't been much in my experience with him). Michael is an exceptionally talented and skilled craftsman with excellent foresight and communication skills; I highly recommend him for home improvement projects!
