BYD Construction LLC

BYD , aka David and Eileen built a beautiful cottage in my back yard. They were absolutely fantastic. Dave is a master builder. Eileen has beautiful design sense. All of the subs were incredible, and Dave insured that every job was done well. The workmanship is stunning. Everything was on schedule and on budget, there was wonderful creative problem solving every step of the way. They are loaded with so much personal integrity that I felt completely relaxed throughout the whole process. Eileen helped me so much! She and I went out together looking at fixtures, materials, vintage fireplaces, appliances. She helped me choose paint colors, and figure out furnishings. I never felt like she was imposing her own choices, but she was really helpful in tying it all together so that it looks beautiful. The project was extremely challenging. Our house is over a hundred years old, the lot has a huge slope, and we did not want to lose any privacy. The cottage needed to have two bedrooms and look like it had always been there. The entrance and yard needed to be completely separate, and we needed to reconfigure the rockery and entrance into our own back yard. Dave and Eileen came up with elegant, affordable answers to every challenge. As the project got underway they continued to improve on an already great design. It's been almost a year. Dave is always responsive if I have any questions or if anything needs adjusting. He's quite a perfectionist! I feel very lucky to have found BYD. Do I recommend them? Oh yes. Yes, yes, yes.

If I could give BYD 10 stars I totally would. They were beyond amazing through out the entire process. Helpful, knowledgeable, patient. Their attention to detail and design aesthetic is absolutely impeccable. They really take time to understand their clients needs, wants and personal style to really make each and every client's dream a reality.
