I highly recommend Caisley Developments for high quality, professional service for home renovations. We hired them to manage a renovation of our new house while we were living in a different country! Luke and Dylan were responsive, communicative, and really understood what we wanted (vs. trying to upsell us or deliver services we didn't need). We ended up very happy with the end result. Scope included new hardwood/finishing in entire upstairs, repainting the entire house, improving irrigation around the house, reincorporation of basement suite, levelling of flooring in basement, tiling in all bathrooms. Simrat is also fully transparent, honest, and friendly and shares invoices promptly as they come in so that you can see for yourself whether budget is staying on track or not.

Luke renovated my home early in 2017. It was an extensive job, inside and out, including structural, mechanical and cosmetic work. He went above and beyond in his attention to detail, creative ideas, problem solving and clear communication. Renovations are never easy, but Luke displayed great commitment to deliver results and patience to keep me sane during the process. I couldn't recommend him more highly to friends and clients.

This is not my first project working with Luke. He and his crew are very professional. Luke has always been good at respecting my visions, but always has great input if he feels something could be done differently. His attention to detail is something anyone can appreciate. We hired Luke some months ago for a major renovation project on our new townhome. That turned out to be a very big, very costly mistake. After month on month of delay, material and construction problems, and complaints from our neighbours and building manager, we are left with a mess of a project that ran nearly a year late and tens of thousands over budget. It will take tens of thousands more to fix things. A few specifics ... - Hardwood flooring that was not installed or glued correctly and is loose and creaky throughout. Luke's assessment "industry standard". - Stair treads and risers that are cracking and warping and peeling away from the underlying concrete. Luke's assessment "industry standard". - Drywall cracking at the seams throughout. Luke's assessment "the building is settling". (The building is a 15-year-old concrete construction and there has been no evidence of settling in our suite or in those of our neighbours for the past many years.) - So much deceitfulness through the course of the project that we were left not believing anything Luke said. In the end Luke lied about not being able to contact us and walked away from the project, leaving us with a mess of deficiencies. I'll add just a couple of photos showing elements that Luke claimed to be "industry standard".

The standard of work that Luke expects and delivers really sets him apart in his industry. He holds himself and his team accountable for delivering top quality results and instills confidence as a customer. His practical, realistic suggestions and his honesty throughout the renovation was invaluable as a customer and we would recommend him to our closest friends and family (which we already did). In our opinion, that is the highest compliment you can give. The two questions that are important in the service world are (1) Would you hire them again? and (2) Would you recommend them to your friends? In Luke's case, the answer is a resounding "Yes!"

I had the opportunity to do a major renovation to my Vancouver 1930s house with Luke and his team at Caisley Developments. I have done enough previous renovations to realize that there are always hiccups along the way...and these were all dealt with professionally and in a timely manner. Things that made me give the team 5 stars: The final product is outstanding - I have had only positive feedback and compliments. Possible areas that needed upgrading and safety/improvements were done as we went (reinforcing structural walls and ceiling, for example) - the house is in better shape to withstand an earthquake than when we started. Things that I thought wouldn't be possible were done and within budget. There was an ongoing dialogue about the best use of my budget - sky was not the limit - and ways to use money effectively were always considered. This was always while maintaining the aesthetic of the project. Subtrades were excellent - Luke is respected by his colleagues and they have a good relationship - very important when you need something done. The people working more directly for Caisley were clean, respectful and honest - we were living through the chaos! Issues with budget were almost all related to my add-ons - only a couple of items went over - and that is a big feat with a reno of this size. Luke Caisley actually knows how to build a house - I CAN NOT emphasize how important that is when hiring a contractor.

Luke was recommended to me by a common friend, and I'm very glad I followed through with the recommendation! Luke and his team did an excellent job on my small laundry room renovation. He was really professional and helpful through the planning process, and even though it was a small job, he made me feel that it was important to him to get it right. His costs were really reasonable as well, he was always accessible, and it appears he has a lot of connections for subtrades who also have reasonable costs. I'm planning on doing another reno with Luke on my kitchen in the upcoming weeks, and I have confidence that it will turn out just as well. Thanks Luke!

We renovated our 1650 sq. ft. condo which included: gutting and redoing three bathrooms (one of which became a laundry/utility room), replacing all kitchen and laundry appliances, repainting and putting shutters on all windows. We were extremely happy with our choice of Caisley Developments. Luke Caisley had a great personality, his attention to detail was excellent, he was a great problem solver and showed consideration of other residents in our mid rise apartment building.
