Element Home Remodeling

I rarely write reviews, but wanted to share our experience to warn anyone considering this company. We hired Element Home Remodeling in 2020 for a remodel of our kitchen, with an attached deck, pergola, and retaining walls. Our project started well, but progressively deteriorated into a living nightmare. We later discovered that most of their online reviews have been faked in an attempt to inflate their reputation. Many reviewers describe projects which never occurred (based on building permit records search, some include stock photos) but are acknowledged by the owner as if they were real customers. Their reference turned out to be a friend rather than an actual customer. They also appear to rent their RMO license from a retired contractor in Southern California who was not involved in our project. These guys are running a scam and I advise others to steer clear. We chose this company because they were well reviewed, responsive, and represented themselves as having the staff and experience to complete our job quickly and competently. We eventually learned they were a small, inexperienced, and deceptive operation who were in over their heads and struggled their way through our project. There were serious problems with the quality of their work, they caused substantial damage to our property, were arrogant and unprofessional, and failed to properly supervise their workers. After we signed a build contract in early July, the tone and responsiveness started to change. They began demolition a few weeks later, confident that they would quickly obtain permits, but badly misjudged this and required 3 rounds of review and nearly 3 months before the permits were approved by the city. This was mid-pandemic, so we dismissed our concerns. However, after work started in late October, they caused significant property damage with a tractor, began antagonizing our neighbors, and attempted to shake us down for more money. They left a 10 foot hole in the side of our house completely open to the elements for more than a week and rushed to complete the kitchen remodel on the schedule they had proposed. They treated our driveway like a garbage dump, smoked inside our house, and used our kitchen knives as box cutters. After the kitchen was completed, we began to find serious problems with their work. While the owner made meager attempts to correct some issues, he tried to shift blame and demanded payment on a different schedule than we had agreed. On Christmas day, we had rain water running down our living room and kitchen walls. This happened a total of 3 times through early January, as the contractor repeatedly failed to cover roof penetrations. After they left the job, we had their work independently inspected and discovered even more significant issues with their workmanship. We have spent more than $80k (so far) repairing their damage and defective work, and are currently engaged in legal action.

For the past few months, I have had the pleasure to work with sean and Element Home Remodeling. Our entire family have had a very pleasant experience, and the customer service provided throughout the entire 5 months was very personalized and thoughtful. All together we had a team of 15 professionals working on our project. That included the company's designer, architect/ engineer and the crew who performed the work. We hired Element Home Remodeling to completely redesign our home. We relocated the kitchen, added a bathroom, remodeled our guest bathroom, living room and all 4 bedrooms. Element Home remodeling had performed a home remodel and extension to our neighbor’s property, and since we were planning on having a home remodel ourselves, we paid close attention to the remodeler`s work ethics and visited the neighbor’s home a couple of times during the project. That's how we met sean who was the project manager at that time. We were very impressed with the team`s rate of progress and noted that they showed up to work every single day. Once we saw the end result and quality of work, we decided to hire Element Home Remodeling and asked to have sean as our project manager. We met with a couple of other local companies just for the sake of research and price comparison and because of this we knew that Element Home Remodeling were offering a fair price for their work. To sum up our experience with Element Home Remodeling I would have to say that they have lived up to their reputation. Lines of communication were kept open at all times and we were given full support during all stages of the project. We are very satisfied with the work that was done and are enjoying our new home.

We recently completed our kitchen remodel with Element. It was a mid size job and I was a bit stressed out about it. However, the team at Element Home Remodeling were more than helpful. They were very responsible in regards to sticking to the time line and were very comfortable to work with. My new kitchen is getting many compliments.

This is a great company it is as simple as that. We had Element Home Remodeling renovate our kitchen and bathroom. They did an excellent job, there were no issues or anything like that. We passed every inspection on time and everything worked according to plan.

Element Home Remodeling provided excellent service and demonstrated a high standard of work when updating our master bathroom. The work involved taking out the bath and installing a walk in shower, as well as a complete re-tile and installation of new vanities. The work was completed ahead of time and has completely transformed the space.

We are extremely satisfied with our kitchen remodel which was done by the talented crew from Element Home Remodeling. The project was planned from start to finish using Element`s designers and architects because we knew that it would save a lot of time and reduce the risk of any miscommunication if the whole team was under one roof.The project was quite big because we extended the kitchen and needed to change all the plumbing to accommodate the new layout that we had chosen. Overall, everything went smoothly, there were some minor delays getting permits due to the Covid situation, but the builders worked extra hard to keep everything on schedule. The results are just what we wanted, plus some. We have no regrets about using this company and will be saving their number for any future projects we may have.

We had Element Home Remodeling remodel both our guest and master bathroom. The company provided 5 star service. They were very easy and comfortable to to work with and took care of everything from start to finish, including permits. We had a great time working with the entire team and especially with Rafael our project manager and Allen the designer. They offered all the support that was needed to complete this project successfully.

We found Element Home Remodeling during our online search for a home remodeling contractor. After contacting several companies, we decided to schedule a meeting with our favorite 3 contractors. Ben our project manager was one of them. During the meeting he was very helpful and showed a lot of knowledge. He was clearly more informed than the representatives that were sent by the other companies. Now that our home remodeling project is completed, we know that we made the right decision hiring Element Home Remodeling. Both Ben and the crew were very professional. They came in every day and worked hard. Ben insisted that we go through everything after each step was completed and approve the work that was done. A big thank you to Allen and Dave the company’s designers who took part in designing our home. They gave us some amazing ideas and advice in choosing the appliances and materials.

Refael our project manager was great to work with. He made our home remodeling project completely stress free. It's not that everything was perfect, it`s the fact that when anything came up he took care of it right away. He was very easy to deal with and was available whenever needed. The entire crew were just lovely, they were professional, polite and considerate about the fact that we were living at the house during the construction work. Our experience with this company was very positive.

The professionals in this company are very impressive. We hired Element Home Remodeling for our kitchen renovation and it was a complete success. We had them change the tiles cabinets, add a kitchen island and update the plumbing which kept on leaking. Allen the designer assisted in choosing the right fixtures and materials and Refael managed the entire project and teams on site. Our kitchen looks amazing and most important the leaks are gone. We are happy with their work.

We have just finished our master bathroom remodel in our newly purchased home. When we first moved in we remodeled most of the house but omitted the bathroom because of budget limitations. We chose Element Home Remodeling after visiting a relative's property and seeing the work they had done there. We met with the project manager named Motti and he guided us through the whole process step by step. He arranged the meetings with the designer and took a lot of the hard work off our hands. The designers were very up to date with all the latest styles and techniques and gave us some innovative ideas. We hadn't really got a firm direction of where we wanted to go with the bathroom design, so were more than happy to accept their guidance. The work went smoothly and finished ahead of time which was a bonus. So far I can say we have no complaints and are happy with the standard of workmanship.

Now that our kitchen remodel is done and after wating a couple of months to see that everything is still in place, I can say that it was a pleasure to work with Element Home Remodeling. Ben and the team did an excellent job on upgrading our kitchen and the company's designers were extremely helpful. The entire remodel went smoothly and we are very happy with the high standard of work that was done.
