Shocked me too. - He takes ownership of the work, which means he cares about the details and thinks through ramifications of decisions. - He wants to communicate. You won't have to track him down. I got estimates from 4 other contractors for a very big job (jacking up my kitchen floor to level it, installing sister joists, installing new drywall, painting, crafting a shiplap ceiling, etc.). All of those guys each spent less than 10 minutes with me (for a job that had me nervous as heck given that the floor was going to be moving). Davy spent an hour with me, explaining everything he was going to need to do and giving me thoughtful options. - He has the skills of 20 guys. Truly. He can do just about anything and he does it at the highest skill level. - He's fair in pricing. Of the 5 total estimates I obtained, he was in the middle (not the highest and not the lowest). - He did the work himself. Yep, one guy did all of it and he gave me great updates every day. The other contractors I spoke with were not personally doing the work. - He has integrity. I have told all my friends about Davy because I know how hard it is to find someone you can trust. He's old school business, which means you won't regret anything about the experience.

We had Davy come do a bathroom remodel for us. He was always on time. Great communication. He has an hourly rate not per job. But we never felt like he was milking the time. He is a straight shooter and a wealth of knowledge. He added a corner shower to our already small downstairs bathroom and it looks great. Relocated a sink/added a vanity cabinet/re-trimmed out our bathroom window/ helped update some of our plumbing lines. This guy has the patience of a Saint. Between delivery delays/ broken faucets out of the box and plain indecision on our part he was gracious and kind. Oh, and we got to source our own material IF we wanted to. NONE of this I need moolah up front for material... now my job was small so if you have a large one that may change. But I highly recommend him... as a small business owner ourselves it's nice to have someone practice what they preach and build trust with clients. Plus... my dog loved him. Bonus!

Davy did a great job with wall construction, drywall, and plumbing on our master bath project. He is very detail oriented and open to your suggestions, but always honest with his experience in letting you know what is and isn't a good idea. Highly recommended!

I have used Freedom Contracting Services (Davy) multiple times the past few years. The first project was a complete remodel/renovation of my house, including a new kitchen and 2 new bathrooms. Everything was done on time and on budget. I've also hired Davy for smaller jobs including a carport addition and electrical wiring upgrades. Freedom Contracting did some framing and drywall for us on a recent project. They did excellent work that was on time and within budget. Freedom Contracting is extremely communication oriented.
