Jamal is good and reliable. He listens...not alot of contractors do that. He is also creative about finding solutions and doing things for less. He found ways for me to save money by giving me options.

Jay and his team were friendly, completely accommodating to my family's comings and goings, and on time. The job (repair a great big hole in our ceiling caused by a flood) looked great after completion, the area was tidied up and everything put back to the way it was found. Jay's communication to me before, during and after the work was very great.

I hired Jay back in 2012 for a kitchen remodel. He was able to do everything involved in our kitchen remodel. We wanted everything moved around and had discussed our kitchen plans with other contractors and they said that they didn't think it was possible. Jay made it possible and exceeded all of our expectations. And while he was there he fixed some other plumbing problems at another location in the home at no additional cost to us. My wife and everyone loved our kitchen so much. Every guest we have brought to the home has complimented it. Since then, he has provided for me thousands of dollars worth of consulting on bathroom remodels, foundation, roofing, ac/heat, property management. He has also saved me thousands of dollars because of his knowledge, and also my lack of knowledge. And I mean tens of thousands of dollars people. He's an almanac of construction. He's a master-craftsman. And his number is the most valuable number I have in my phone.

I hired Jay to install my kitchen sink. There were several factors that made installing my sink a little more complicated and Jay addressed the issues and did a wonderful job at a fair price.

Excellent communication, reasonable prices, and outstanding craftsmanship. Jay's always done very good work for us. From rebuilding our front porch, to installing new ceilings in tricky spaces, to pouring new concrete walks, Jay has always come through. Highly recommended.

Though not a remodeling job, I did hire Jay back in 2009 to build a custom desktop computer and it has worked great, not only with the choice of the original high-end parts but Jay's buidling skill and the ongoing service over the past seven years.

Jay Dawes has done work for me over the years both as a contractor and as a consultant on construction jobs. He knows his craft very well and possesses a high degree of competence and trustworthiness. He does not leave a job until its perfect and he has a lot of integrity. Our condominium association hired Jay Dawes Construction to do a interior trim project relating to skylights. He needed to work with 11 separate owners. He did a nice job, on time. Had all positive feedback. He is very professional, and I would recommend him for your project.
