Juan and his crew was great to work with. They finished the unfinished half of our basement and made a gym and a workshop/hobby room. Juan was very communicative about where the project was and if there were any hiccups. He was very flexible with any additional work we threw at him while the basement project was ongoing. We'll be hiring them again for any more project and highly recommend them. Scope of work: - frame unfinished basement into 2 separate rooms - recess lights for both rooms - insulate all walls for sound dampening - soundproof wall and ceiling for workshop - create and install new outlet to the power breaker panel for the workshop - install additional outlet plugs in the workshop per my request - reroute vent for the gym - reframe 40in double door into a single 36in large door - frame and install bi-fold closet door - paint and install baseboard - install vinyl flooring

I hired JCP Contractor to do some modifications on the ground level of my town house, specifically to expand the coat closet and build another closet in the unused space next to it. They did an excellent job, and it came out exactly as I envisioned it. They did top quality work, from the framing to the drywall, moulding, floor tile, painting and doors. You can't tell that it was a modification - it looks like it was built that way with the house. They completed the work in the expected time frame and charged exactly what they quoted - no hidden fees or surprise charges. I recommend them and would definitely use them again.

JCP did a wonderful job renovating old textured ceilings on a lower level of the house to a beautiful, flat white. The room is brighter and ceilings look higher! They also removed wallpaper and repainted a hallway. Good communications throughout and we’re very happy with the work.

Juan from JCP saved us! Our previous contractor, (i.e., Marvin from Baiza construction) took our money and disappeared leaving our house in a state. After much searching, JCP was recommended to us. Juan is easy to work with, he is reasonable in cost, and took care of our house. Importantly, he’s reliable. He responds to email in a timely manner, and when he doesn’t have the expertise for the job, he finds someone who can. He has done several home improvement jobs for us. Excellent experience with JCP Contractor. I hired Juan Carlos for a complete demolition of a 2600-square foot townhouse. Removal of everything from carpet, tile, laminate, wood floor to kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, counters, toiles, bathtubs, etc. They gutted the townhouse with great care without damaging the walls or subfloors. During the demolition, his crew framed 2 new closets, reshaped new rooms, evened a sunken floor and replaced plywood subfloors where needed. After that, I decided to hire Juan Carlos to tile 4 bathrooms (shower walls and bathroom floors) and I don’t regret it. They did a great job and I loved the end results. Juan Carlos is friendly, knowledgeable and very responsive. I recommend Juan Carlos and his team without any hesitation to any homeowner. I will definitely hire him again to do other projects in the same townhouse.

Officially a 4.5 star review -- Juan Carlos is a knowledgable professional who puts you at ease. His crew is very nice and they work extremely fast which is a plus. They completed my entire painting project in one single day. Over 1500 square feet. The estimate he gave me was exactly the number I was hoping for, so I can say that he is extremely fair on pricing. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because of some sloppiness with dripped paint on floors/deck. Luckily it comes off, but not without a lot of backbreaking scrubbing and picking with your fingernails. I do wish they would have taken more care with covering the floors and limiting the areas they walk on altogether. All in all, a fantastic job and would use them again and recommend them to friends with similar painting projects.

I had an old wooden playset in my backyard that I needed broken down and removed as well as some brush from backyard cleanup. Juan and his team was able to prioritize this job very quickly and over two days completed the job. They were very professional and provided regular updates throughout the day to keep us informed on the jobs progress. Would definitely recommend for any job!
