John and the team at Goodgift have been a pleasure to work with. They went the extra mile to make sure our kitchen remodel project was successful. After having schedule problems with our previous contractor, we switched to John's team just a few weeks before demo was to begin. John saved our project to ensure we could keep our original schedule and was upfront about pricing which we greatly appreciated. They always followed through, did the work when they said they would and consistently followed up to make sure we knew what was happening when. It was so fun getting to know them over the course of the project and we always felt completely comfortable having them in our home. Far and away the best thing about Goodgift is the integrity they bring to their work. They did quality work and were honest and upfront in all our dealings with them. They believe in their values and act them out every day. I would highly recommend them.

We had GoodGift Remodeling install a large multislide patio door on the back of our home. This project required structural bracing, shoring up of the second floor and shoring of our patio cover...to say the job required a lot of detail would be an understatement. John and his crew came in and did an amazing job. Everyone on his crew were very professional and knowledgeable. Additionally, seeing we have 3 children, they cleaned up everyday and left the jobsite the way it was when they arrived. John did a complete gut of my 2nd bath and tiled the shower and floor, painted the walls and installed the new vanity, mirror and shelves. He and his crew did a great job. He also updated the heated flooring in all 3 bathrooms and retitled the master bath floor and shower. He and his team did a great job. He communicated with me frequently and always kept me in the loop on progress or items that came up. He even replaced my toilet when the original one was broken when it was uninstalled. I will call John for all my projects and I have recommended him to several. people in the neighborhood.

When we first started looking for someone to do our project, I knew I needed to work with someone that I could trust and be able to talk with about issues. John Heim with Goodgift remodeling fit the bill. Not only was he good to work with but his staff as well. He backed his word and made sure that the job was done correctly to the highest standard. Goodgift Remodeling recently did a complete remodel of our 40 year old home’s basement. We are very satisfied with the final product. The project involved many challenges as the original finish had been done without Building Permits and required extensive work to bring it up to current standards. John Heim, his employees, and subcontractors were a pleasure to work with during the entire process. John’s strong planning skills insured that the job progressed rapidly and smoothly. John’s level of communication with us was phenomenal throughout the job. We were never left wondering what was going to happen next or why work wasn’t getting done. He always made sure we knew when we had to make decisions or provide input into the many areas within our control. The true test of a company’s integrity is not just the product they turn out, but how they deal with problems as they arise. We did have issues, as any job of this complexity will have, but John always extended himself to make sure he did everything possible to keep us satisfied. We highly recommend Goodgift Remodeling and will use them again when we need construction services.
