LaBonte Construction recently finished work on a kitchen 'refresh' in our nearly 100 year-old home. The project went very well. First, the initial consultation and estimate process was really comprehensive. Dave LaBonte and his colleague asked me lots of questions I hadn't even thought about. That allowed them to do comprehensive planning and estimation, eliminating surprises. Second, Dave LaBonte is a very good communicator. He provided a schedule for the project, with a day-by-day list of activities and people involved. If that schedule was going to change, Dave let me know. Third, every single member of the team did good, high-quality work and was invariably pleasant to work with. The team even did a great job of cleaning up at the end of every day, which was very important to us because we were living in the house throughout. Finally, the bill was exactly what I expected, because the estimate was good and comprehensive, we had talked through the impact of any changes, and the project was well-managed throughout. I would hire LaBonte Construction again without hesitation, and recommend them without reservation.

I was recommended Dave by my architect and could not be more pleased with the whole experience. From start to finish, Dave and his team were courteous, conscientious, my house was kept clean and everything went smoothly and the communication was solid. I had a dated 1980s bathroom demolished and updated. I also added a sink to a basement bathroom that only had a toilet, now it's nice to have an extra powder room for my kids. Happy to serve as a reference and I'm thrilled with how everything turned out. Highly recommend Dave.

Dave LaBonte and his team, including our project manager, Pete Jendrzejek, simply the best on our kitchen/dining room remodel, a merger of the two rooms. You know the phrase, that “the best surprise is no surprise”? Well, that’s them. They do exactly what they say they are going to do, in a timely manner and of the very highest quality. Quality, absolutely spectacular. Pete and all of his subs, the greatest group of people you could ask for, working in your house, day after day. So easy to have around…while I was thrilled to be back in the kitchen, I missed them when they were gone! Did I mention that the demolition team, Jonathan, the owner of Demo Boys, gave me a cookbook and a bottle of wine when he finished their work?

LaBonte did an outstanding job finishing our basement and installing a 1/2 bathroom in our townhouse on the East Side of Milwaukee. The workmanship was excellent, everyone on the team including their contractors were super professional, easy to work with and just nice people all around. Terrific communication as well. Special kudos to Adam who was our go-to person and a pleasure to work with....and also thank you to Dave LaBonte for his great work up front on the design and assistance. Highly recommend using LaBonte Construction.

We have done quite a few remodels on our home and our experience with LaBonte was by far the best we have had. The entire project team was incredibly professional. Their communication, attention to detail, follow through, and execution exceeded expectations. If I ever had a question or wanted to change something in the process they were incredibly accommodating and helpful.

LaBonte Construction was recommended by my Interior Decorator to do the renovation of our newly purchased condo and I am so grateful. Based on my prior experience with contractors and house renovations, LaBonte is the best. They provided a detail cost estimate and timeline when you sign the contract so there are no surprises as the work progresses. A project manager was assigned to coordinate the sub contractors and ensure the work was done per plan. We were out of state during the renovations, and the Project Manager kept us informed and sent photos of the progress. When we came up at the end of the renovation, the Project Manager was very responsive to to our questions and the minor items that needed to be addressed. Overall LaBonte Construction met their deadlines, their employees and subcontractors were trustworthy and knowledgeable and we are please with the quality of work. If you are lucky enough to get LaBonte Construction for your home improvement, you are certain to be happy with the quality of their work and the end result.

I can't say enough good things about LaBonte Construction. I previously built a home with Victory and had a challenging experience to say the least. LaBonte did a full house renovation for me - took it down to the studs. The experience was outstanding from beginning to end. Everyone who Dave LaBonte brought into the house was exceptional. I trusted them to be doing the right thing not the quickest, easiest or cheapest for them. They made improvements when they saw opportunities and they did an amazing job on the timeline given the market challenges. I would use them for anything I needed done!

We used LaBonte Construction to renovate our home top to bottom, and we could not be happier with the results. We hired the LaBonte team for a large project on a recently purchased 90-year old home. They completely gutted and renovated our kitchen and an adjacent bar room, knocked down a wall and created a new doorway to open up our floorplan, created a new mud room, and replaced and refinished our entire 1st floor with new hardwood. As customers we consider ourselves detail-oriented, and the LaBonte team was patient and responsive with every question and concern we brought to them. They often said their measure of success was our satisfaction with the end product, and they walked the walk in that regard by showing a constant willingness to adjust on the fly. At the end of the entire process we can confidently say we wouldn’t change a thing and we would select LaBonte again. I couldn’t more highly recommend Dave LaBonte and the LaBonte team. They worked with us on a recent renovation of a 100 yr old home…totally overhauling kitchen, baths and freshening and updating all aspects (home hadn’t been updated since early 80’s). They were great to work with and met our (aggressive) move-in target, not only completing the project with excellent craftsmanship but also finding opportunities for us to find cost savings or seeing places where a shift might make the plans more conducive to our family. We are thankful.

LaBonte Construction is amazing. When looking for a GC you hope to find someone who is honest about cost and timing - Dave is both. His bid was spot on, and he gave us the keys to our full-house gut renovation with 2 additions one week later than originally projected. As an interior designer who works specifically in new construction, that is unheard of! His communication is constant and clear. The quality of his subcontractors are impeccable. I would recommend LaBonte Construction to my family, friends, neighbors, and the whole Houzz community! I can't speak highly enough of him. Do not pass go, this is your guy.
