When we relocated to Chicago in 2022, we were determined to find a home downtown, leading us to a charming condo that required a few enhancements. Choosing Make a Dream Home to undertake the renovation was an easy decision for us. After conducting interviews with nearly ten other contractors, we felt most comfortable entrusting our home's refurbishment to this team. The renovation encompassed the kitchen, fireplace, and three bathrooms. Byron's empathetic understanding of our design requirements and functional needs for our project, along with their highly competitive pricing, made them our top choice over others. The entire team, including the designers, project manager, subcontractors, and office staff, was a joy to work with. We faced a couple of hiccups post-renovation, including reduced shower water pressure and a crack in the fireplace wall. However, thanks to the proactive office manager who regularly checked in on us, these issues were promptly resolved. As a former interior designer with previous home remodeling experience, I had an instinctive feeling that Make a Dream Home would be an excellent fit for us. If you are meticulous about your renovation needs, much like us (particularly me), I strongly recommend considering them for your remodeling endeavors

Byron was the project manager assigned to me, and his commitment to going the extra mile was evident in the assistance he provided in navigating through insurance claim complexities. His insights on interior design and his expert perspective never missed the mark! Being an out-of-town client, I was reliant on his personal supervision of this project, and Byron did not disappoint. Admittedly, I was filled with apprehension at the outset, but Byron's actions instilled trust and he validated that he was indeed a man of his word. His work reflects his deep-seated pride! I wouldn't hesitate to engage his services again and again! Our professional relationship has now evolved into what feels like a friendship.

I had a room that needed finishing, so I chose Make a Dream Home because they had the best reputation with friends and neighbors and a fair price. Byron was in charge of the project, and he and his team did an excellent job. They finished the work just how I wanted and on time. Whenever I had any questions, Byron was easy to reach by phone, text, or email. The finished room looks even better than we'd hoped. We'll definitely call them again if we need more work done in the future.

Once the project commenced, Make a Dream Home differentiated themselves from other potential contractors by assigning a designer to collaborate with us. Their consultative approach was instrumental in bringing our design vision to life, encompassing everything from cabinetry and color schemes to flooring and hardware. As the project manager, Byron was always accessible, proficiently guiding me through any concerns that necessitated immediate attention. Despite a couple of delays attributed to building management and cabinet reordering, the entire process was seamless, and the final result was exactly as we had envisioned. In stark contrast, the Make a Dream Home team went above and beyond in guiding me through the estimation process, meticulously detailing each aspect, explaining why each component was vital to the project, and clearly defining service delivery expectations. I've resided in Chicago for 10 years, and this team is the best I've encountered. As much as I hesitate to resort to clichés, it's entirely apt here; if you're aiming for a professional touch, Make a Dream Home will surely deliver!

I want to give the highest compliment to this company for their expertise on my downstairs bathroom. I’m so impressed by their professionalism. They were at my house at 9am every day. They stayed here until they finished the project. They cleaned the debris after work was finished. I have referred this company to other friends doing various projects. They re-did my basement steps with hardwood and it looks amazing! Hats off to these guys, they gave me a new bathroom and the price was reasonable. Will definitely contact them back for future projects!
