Merola Construction

We recently worked with Merola on our new restaurant, Virtuous Pie, and it was an excellent experience. The entire project was well managed from start to finish, with clear communication, organization and change management throughout the process. The level of intricate design work we had within our restaurant was quite high (many custom built features and various materials) and all were executed with precision and excellence. Even once the project was "done" Merola was reliably there for the weeks following as little, last details and changes were needed, and having them there to help was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend working with Merola construction and am grateful for their work.

This is not my first time working with Merola Construction. My recent project - the renovation of a 100 year old house. Trevor Hutton, the site manager, is amazing. He saw my vision even before I did. Thoughtful, polite and easy to work with. When I came home from work to find Trevor in his van, he was always willing to go over the day’s events with me. I never felt rushed or that I was rushing him. My questions were answered and the answers where explained. The project never felt as if "it" was taking over. When we made changes to the plans it was always discussed and reviewed to ensure that costs didn’t get to high. The lines of communication with Merola Construction’s crew were always open. My emails, text messages and phone calls were always returned. This entire experience has been a pleasure. This is the happiest construction crew I have ever seen – they are always smiling. A huge thank you to Roberto, Rafael, Trevor and the entire crew for making this dream of mine come to life.

Very professional and organized! Objectives and expectations were clear from day 1 and any changes were handled with utmost professionalism and expedience. Never sacrifice quality and understand importance of time management and scheduling.

Merola was understanding, efficient, budget-conscious and just all round pleasant to work with for the past five months. I even christened my site manager Frank, the West Coast Mike Holmes because that is exactly how he drove my project. He made sure things got done "right" from day 1. Raffael was very understanding from the beginning before all the work started when I brought him my Work Scope that was prepared by another company who I later fired. I have to say that if I initially went with the first company I hired, I would not be in my home today. Thank you very much Raffael, Frank, Robert, Carick, Dre and those had a part in our project.

We feel very confident in Merola Construction to provide us with a beautiful home made with quality products and in a timely manner. We trust the relationship with them and know they would only build a house that they would have their own families live in. Truly down to earth people with excellent craftsmanship.

Renovated our kitchen. The contractor was friendly, and completed the project on time. Any problems were discussed and looked after. They took great care in keeping the mess to a minimum.
