Great builders! Eric and his crew did an incredible job! Their standards are very high and they have a great eye for detail. The process was a very positive experience and surprisingly enjoyable considering we had a large addition, some remodeling and an entire and amazing outdoor area. We would definitely recommend their services to a friend or family member.

Milestone Homes:Home improvement & remodel In short this Home Improvement project's objective was to upgrade a mid-priced home's interior to a high-priced interior design concept that accented visual relationships between art display walls,entry areas and arched windows. It was a six room renovation. The experience of the Milestone team on the multi-stages of construction and renovation proved to be extremely valuable in reaching the desired results. He scope of this experience ranged from bathroom fixtures,electrical components,cabinet hardware , roofing replacement to floor tile options. On the financial phases of the project, I found the cost estimates exceptionally accurate and the overall budget management transparent and assuringly effective. Moreover the Milestone Homes team was available to answer my questions at a moments notice. They were generous with there time in explaining details and options that contributed to the success of the project in a reasonable time frame.

When we considered purchasing our Tucson residence, we were a bit hesitant because of its dated, 1979 interior. Nevertheless, because we were enchanted by the views, we moved forward, assuming that, in time, we could update the interior to create a comfortable home in which to retire. Five years later – with retirement looming – we consulted an architect who redesigned much of the interior of our home, as well as a portion of our outdoor living space. Our architect suggested that Milestone Homes would be the ideal contractor for the demolition and remodel. After our initial meeting with Eric Freedberg, we knew that we wanted Milestone Homes to remodel our home. Eric’s integrity, creativity, superb communication skills and commitment to quality shone through, reinforcing our architect’s high praise of Eric and Milestone Homes. Eric and his superb Milestone team exceeded our expectations every step along the way. Although the remodel was done largely in our absence (we live in Chicago), Eric and his team consistently communicated so effectively that we felt as though we were on-site throughout the entire process. The guidance that we received from Eric and his team throughout the project was truly remarkable. Whether we were addressing the inevitable “surprises” that surface when walls are opened, or selecting everything from cabinets, countertops and backsplashes to door knobs and door stops, their guidance was thoughtful and invaluable. We were particularly appreciative of Eric’s sensitivity and effectiveness at balancing quality and cost. Even more important is the quality of the workmanship throughout our home. From the talented subcontractors to the marvelous superintendent who managed day-to-day activities, every aspect of the remodel was completed meticulously. Milestone Homes did a superb job of transforming our architect’s creative vision into a home that we will cherish in the years ahead. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of working with Eric and his Milestone colleagues. We will never be able to thank them adequately for the perfect collaboration.

We could not be happier with the choice we made having Eric and his incredible staff build our home. From the beginning of the process to the very end, the amount of time, expertise, organization, communication and integrity was exceptional. The entire process was so much smoother than expected. Five stars is truly not enough.

Faced with a situation in my Foothills home which required immediate attention and with no one apparently able to identify the source of the problem, at the suggestion of a Milestone client I knew, I called. I know their usual business is not simple home repairs, but they helped me. I must guess the way they performed for me is the way they do their bigger jobs. They were different in three important ways from other tradespeople I’ve dealt with in Tucson. (1) Every interaction was both low key and highly professional. When one’s home has a problem, it’s easy to get excited, but Milestone people were calm and wholly professional, focusing only on my home’s problem. That’s a welcome change from other companies with whom I’ve dealt. (2) The Milestone people were thorough, methodical, and professional. As much as I wanted a quick fix, these people were careful, thorough, and examined every possible source of my home’s problem to be sure they corrected the problem not just offered a quick fix. If I were having major work done, I would welcome this methodical approach, which contrasts with the slapdash, get-it-done-as-quickly-as-possible-and-get-out approach of so many others with whom I have dealt. (3) Unlike most everyone with whom I’ve dealt, Milestone’s professionalism extended to the attitude their role was to identify the cause of my problem and try to fix it. Their people did not comment on the workmanship of previous tradespeople, or how previous repairs were or were not done, but only on the problem at hand. To me, a true professional does his job without commenting on work done by others. That’s rare in Tucson. If I were to have significant work done to my home, I would call Milestone without a moment’s hesitation. Based on their professional attitude and methodical, careful, thorough, professional approach, I would feel confident and comfortable in doing so.

Milestone Homes is operated and staffed by the most professional, experienced, talented, and trustworthy people in the business. From the moment Eric, the owner, shook my hand and walked through my space, I knew I was done interviewing contractors. He is kind and intelligent, extremely detail oriented, and has the highest sense of integrity. My kids miss him being around everyday, as well as one of Milestone's Supers, Guss. Guss is the epitome of hard work, execution, and thoughtfulness. It was bittersweet for our family when everything was finished. Milestone Homes remodeled multiple parts of our house and turned it into a forever home. They coordinated everything and finished our remodel with precision and timeliness. We remodeled our entire master bathroom, replaced countertops in our other three bathrooms, upgraded every door in the house, replaced carpet in every room, changed an extra bedroom into a den (which required a wall being knocked down), tiled the fireplace, added a real wood mantel, took out a built-in Murphy Bed and desk, added new light fixtures, and repainted most of the interior walls. It was a big remodel project and there is nobody else in the Tucson area who could have done a better job. I feel very blessed to have had the chance to work with Milestone Homes!

We hired Milestone Homes to do a whole house remodel. Eric Freedberg and his staff did an excellent job taking care of all the minute details. They were very friendly, professional and efficient in getting each job completed. They hire quality workers who are held to their high standards. Milestone Homes works professionally as a team to deliver on-time and to budget. They exhibited professional planning, delivery and accountability on all aspects from planning, sourcing subcontractors, finding design consultation and execution. We remodeled an existing home with unknown factors to be revealed during the construction process. We worked together to find creative, practical solutions while the project unfolded. By the way, this project was an overhaul of a 1975 "modern" home of 5700 square feet. We tore up concrete floors, installing new sewer pipes as well as grey water systems; every window in home replaced including structural changes with steel beams and walls being re-arranged. 5 bathrooms, total kitchen, all new HVAC and oh yes, hardwood floors throughout the home. Between sorting out the engineering, code issues (times have changed) and aesthetic changes, Milestone went with our desires and made them a reality. After moving in, and all details have been signed off on; Eric Freedberg remains responsive and interested in our home as we work out any small bugs that may pop up. I am completely satisfied and would recommend Milestone Homes to any one considering remodeling or building their home.
