Excellent company with high standards of excellence in all their work. Very responsive to questions as thy arose throughout the project. Worked to quickly and economically solve problems as they arose, and kept us updated as to the financial status of the project as it changed slightly throughout. We love the finished product, and feel like the timeline was very reasonable given the work we had done. We tacked on several odd jobs around the house as we had just moved in,in addition to the big project (taking out a wall between two living rooms) and they were very obliging.

We hired Mohr Construction because they had a reputation of working primarily on renovations and add-ons. We were living in our home while the work was taking place and they were very concientious of our privacy and keeping the mess to a minimum. Their crews were very respectful of our home and our family and we never felt like we were in the way. The project took much longer to complete than origionally estimated but we expected as much. Everyone we talked to said nearly all construction projects take longer than you think. We have them a very tough job...adding a second story room to a home that did not have a second story. We have been very happy with the quality of work and love our new addition. It is beautiful and unique and we constantly get compliments on it. Any problems that have popped up, they have been right on top of it and have worked to make sure it is corrected.

We hired Mohr Construction, LLC to replace our wooden Pella entry door system because the veneer was starting to peel off from 29 years with no protection from the sun and inclimate weather. We also needed our brick mailbox replaced. Through our discussions with Steve and Michael Mohr, we decided to add a covered area at the entry of our house to protect the door, guests and US. (We enjoy stepping outside to listen to the rain on the metal roof, check out the size of hail, etc.) While the project took longer than anticipated, we are absolutely thrilled with the end result. Part of the delay was due to change orders we made and we appreciate the fact that our satisfaction was paramount. We now have a beautiful Pella fiberglass door system with leaded glass a little different from our original and we're confident it will last beyond our lifetime. The mailbox now has a concrete cap on it, still flows with the architecture of our house and the stainless steel locking box we bought looks beautiful in it. However, the highlight of our project is the curved copper roof above the walkway to the door and the transition of our front porch from a concrete/brick paver porch with a step to a textured tile-covered ramp. The slant is so subtle you hardly notice it. The entire entry area is much more aesthetically pleasing than we anticipated and the ramp is an "age in place" feature we wouldn't have come up with on our own. The Mohrs also did a master bath remodel a few years ago that we couldn't be happier with. While we changed some things from the original bid, we weren't blindsided by unanticipated costs. I'm sorry I don't have pictures on my computer to add to this review because I LOVE the way it looks! We get lots of compliments about the remodel looking like it's been there forever.
