About Us

In 1998, Paul Roczynski turned his passion into a business. With little more than elbow grease and ingenuity, Paul created PSM Remodeling. Since then, PSM has set quality standards for construction projects throughout the Northeast. Although based out of Hartford, CT, PSM is frequently in demand for both large and small projects in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. In his spare time, Paul is a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for East Hartford, CT, and 3 years previously as the Republican Chairman for East Hartford, CT. Paul also currently serves as Commander of Post 56 American Legion in Glastonbury, CT, and a proud Air Force veteran, husband, and father of four. PSM Remodeling is honored to be a distinguished Five Star Sears Installer, and currently an independent marketing sales rep for Alside windows, siding, and roofing products. Psm was very nice in person. After the work was complete I was written an invoice that charged me for items that where not in our contract. Also the amount of square footage that I got the quoted price for less was installed then was written down for the price. I questioned it in a polite manner and he told me that he installed the quoted amount eventhough there was left over material and I ordered the material so I know how much I was there. I didn’t want to make a big deal eventhough it was upsetting and paid the full amount quoted. I was happy that my floor was completed. Then items started going wrong. A few days later a molding piece fell off. I asked if he warentee his work and he told me to glue it back on so I did. Then not even a year later our floor started buckling and separating. I again asked him if he warentee his work and he told me to send him pictures so I did. Now I get no response whatsoever. Highly disappointed. Now I have no money and have to wait to pay someone to come In and repair it. Wish I would have asked about warentee information up front but didn’t.

PSM Remodeling worked diligently to work everything into our budget perfectly. In return we received excellent craftsmanship on a whole new screened in porch, entire new hardwood flooring upstairs and downstairs, new garage doors and openers, all new premium windows at the highest quality, and a tiled kitchen floor and remodeled kitchen where he gutted out the old and put in a beautiful new kitchen. I am ecstatic. And all with budget! And a kind caring professional on top of all this!
