RAM Construction Group did a JAM up job on our home renovation! I was having trouble finding a fair price and a contractor I could trust. Rommel Romero talked "slow" and "to us" - NOT "fast" and "around us." We found a company and a contractor we could trust! We signed a contract and gave them a key to the house. The rest of the story is History! We were more than satisfied when the work was done.

These guys do outstanding work! I have had them do a tear-out of a gas fireplace and then install a new electric one, complete with stone work. Also had a pergola build over my patio and it turned out better than I expected. They might not be the cheapest alternative when you first price them out, but that is because they will only do high quality work using the best materials. In September, 2013 I began a remodeling project to convert my carport utility room into an interior laundry room, moving our washer and dryer from the kitchen. However, it soon became clear that the framing, wall board and door installations were beyond my home handyman capability. I began to look for professional estimates but was frustrated by contractors who did not return calls, work on smaller jobs or have the time to fit me into their schedules. Finding out about my predicament, Jason Mandarino sent Rom Romero from RAM Construction group to evaluate our project. Within a week Rom and his crew framed the room, hung, taped and floated the drywall and had both doors working perfectly. They left me to tile and paint, but offered to return if I were to need additional help. Needless to say, when my wife and I decided to tile our kitchen the following spring it was easy to ask RAM to come back. We were extremely pleased with the results of that job, as well – not only the finished product but also the attitudes and courtesy of RAM’s staff. Moreover, we found RAM’s prices more than fair and competitive with the lowest quotes we received from other firms. I recommend RAM Construction group to any CSRA home remodeler, especially to those who have some do-it-yourself skills but lack the tools and training necessary to complete a structural project. They replaced my old single pane windows with double pane insulated windows and did an awesome job! Very meticulous workmanship and attention to detail. Project included a 27 foot pergola with ceiling fans. Using Houzz for design ideas, the contractor built a fabulous outdoor retreat that we will enjoy for years to come. Extremely happy with the project!

The team at RAM did a great job for me, and I highly recommend them for reno jobs in Augusta. I'm a cyber security professional that just bought a house in Augusta. With Ft. Gordon fast becoming a very large cyber security post, working with the former military guys at RAM gave me quick trust and assurance. Throughout the process-- from design (my wife and i sent him Houzz images we generally liked), to tear down (quick and efficient), to the new build out (full kitchen, refinish hardwoods though out, re do of a bedroom, moving doors and walls, and complete construction of a formal screened in porch), the RAM team lived up to that confidence, and exceeded my expectations in both price and performance. They even went above and beyond to help us respond to the damage caused by the ice storm of 2014, which downed many trees (boo) and caused damage to our roof (which RAM repaired the next day to prevent the rains from doing more harm!). The net is that I like to give work to former military folks, they lived up to that trust and exceeded expectations, and were nice and easy to work with throughout the process. I recommend them to anyone in Augusta, and especially to the folks out at Ft. Gordon who also value 'keeping it in the family.' These guys are honest, hard working, great at their jobs, and nice to be around. For me, that says it all.
