Johns Rd Master Bath
From Back Porch to Master Bath: Finding a beautiful solution in a forgotten space.
In any house, especially older ones, there's almost always a space that's rarely used or even forgotten in a sense. Closets, attics and old additions are the most common to be used for storing clutter and are rarely considered when johns master bath before looking to make a new space. RAM just finished up a project that exemplifies just how amazing the transformation of one of these spaces can be.
The Johns Rd project started with an upstairs back porch that was mainly used as a storage space for the homeowners. The area was not a part of the original house, which is about 100-years-old, and is located right off the master bedroom. The new design called for the porch to be made into a new closet space andP1020825 master bath. The highlight of the new space is the custom-made vanity that our crew created out of an antique piece the homeowners found in a local store. The decor of the bath perfectly blends the modern improvements with the historic nature of the house. The master bath also features a beautiful custom-tile shower and floor with a cool toned color palette that stands out behind the special cut glass door. The key to this space is that its design is more than just visually appealing, it's functional for the homeowners. Got a space you'd like to reclaim?
