Ryan Schmidt and his company completed a fabulous renovation project for us including a new front porch, small addition, deck and screened in porch and completely new kitchen. The workmanship was superb; everything was beautifully done and to our specifications. Ryan and his workers and subs were very easy to work with: always pleasant, trustworthy, flexible with changes and cleaned up after themselves. The project was completed within the projected time. We would hire them in a heartbeat for anything in the future and highly recommend them to anyone.

Ryan and his team delivered exactly what was contracted. They showed up every day on time, were always professional and cleaned up every day. Ryan took the time to listen to our concerns or ideas and took action to resolve them promptly. We couldn’t be happier with the end results of our project. Ryan and his guys provide the highest level of workmanship and deliver what they promise. His up front price estimate was fair and the project came in nearly exactly on budget. His crew leaves the site clean each night and communicates the scope of the upcoming work very clearly. We had no problems leaving them with the work site every day and they were very responsible in working around a couple of curious pets. This is the third project that Schmidt Contracting Services has completed for us, and was the most extensive. You won't be disappointed in working with Ryan.

We couldn't be happier that we selected Schmidt Contracting for our basement renovation project in Annapolis. Ryan was extremely professional and enjoyable to work with throughout the entire process. He had great design suggestions and did an excellent job of finding solutions to issues stemming from the original construction not being done correctly. During a big snowstorm he made sure 2' of snow were cleared from a long driveway so that construction could continue on schedule. Schmidt Contracting did a major renovation at our house in the fall of 2012 and we are still thrilled with the results. The project included a large garage addition with a loft; adding a 10' x 30' porch with columns; a new mud room and reconfiguring our 1/2 bathroom and entry. Schmidt Contracting finished the project ahead of schedule and on budget. We have received many compliments on the quality of the workmanship. Excellent craftsmanship of large renovation (2,000 Sq. Ft.) Wonderful staff and management of all sub-contractors. Upgraded multiple systems (plumbing, HVAC, septic, lighting). Excellent management of the budget and delivered a product beyond what we hoped.

Schmidt contracting performed two jobs for us in our home. The first was a downstairs bathroom remodel and a mud room remodel. They removed flooring and remodeled a washer/dryer cubby. They installed new floor tiles throughout both halls. The second job they did for us was a complete master bath remodel. They removed pony walls and installed new headers. They completely transformed the bathroom into a great showpiece for the house. Ryan and his crew are amongst the most professional contractors I've dealt with. They arrive at 7:15 am every morning and begin work at 7:30 am like clockwork. I would highly recommend their services.

With his knowledge and experience, Ryan came up with a design that transformed our small main bathroom into a beautiful spacious one adding a double sink and skylight. He coordinated well with material suppliers and the whole project came within our budget and was completed when promised. We had a wonderful experience with Ryan and we will not hesitate to use his services again.

I always ask questions, I can't help myself. Ryan Schmidt is the first person, especially contractor, who presents what he is going to do so thoroughly that questions are not necessary. We have employed his services on at least 5-6 occasions and he has done an exemplary job each time. He goes over and above what is required and his workmanship is beautiful. You can count on him to respond to telephone calls, requests for consultation on possible changes or any of the myriad of circumstances that are involved in building, restoring or renovating your property. Ryan stays within projected time frames and outlined budgets. We go away on a trip, leave our key and a list of the things we want accomplished in our absence. We have not been disappointed ever. We can't say enough good things about his professionalism and recommend him all of the time without reservation. We have yet to hear back from anyone he has worked for upon our recommendation with anything but positive remarks. One elderly couple we referred to him wants to keep his sign on their lawn forever... they say, "we just love Ryan, he's such a fine young man." Need I say more. The project I listed below was his first and largest project for us that he completed well before projected. He has returned at least once a year since then.
