TBR Construction performed the design and the construction for our total home remodel. They were great to work with and very professional. Moe was great to work with after the freeze of 2021 destroyed my mom’s kitchen. He helped us through every step of the claim process with our insurance company and was able to get us more than double what the insurance company was going to issue to us. Moe was very responsive and professional throughout the process. He met the insurance adjuster in person and then spent several hours on the phone with the insurance company explaining each line item of our claim. Recently, our home incurred water damage due to pipes bursting from the winter freeze in Texas. We chose to work with Moe Toofan, owner of TBR Construction, LLC. We are extremely satisfied with the results. When we started our search for a contractor, we knew we were looking for a company with high ratings, integrity, and experience. We spent a few weeks researching many contractors in the Houston area. After reading reviews on Houzz for Moe Toofan, owner of TBR Construction, LLC and also discovering Moe is a member of Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA.org.), we chose Moe to help us renovate our home. When we met with Moe, we discovered how knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and honest he is. His communication skills are outstanding. To our surprise, Moe also offered a service to coordinate and negotiate renovation costs with our insurance company. Moe prepared a very detailed estimate of damages and submitted the report to the insurance company. We are very pleased with the end results. Moe is a very diligent contractor who consistently delivers high quality results. We used Moe to gut and re-do both of our bathrooms. The price was absolutely the most fair (and cheapest) on the market. But his price doesn't mean he cuts any corners! Our bathroom came out like a dream. Moe knows the business, and takes the time to explain every aspect of the process to you, during, so you completely understand everything his guys do. He knows quality and doesn't accept less from any of his contractors. I cannot tell you what a blessing it was to have him around to make sure the job was done right, when my husband was at work and I was at home with a pregnant belly! Moe is a family guy, and we loved getting to know him. He even came over to save us a few times when our main line flooded in the back yard, out of the goodness of his heart. We recently moved out to the Woodlands are considering calling Moe for some projects when the time is right. We wouldn't trust anyone else. Go with Moe! You won't be sorry you did.

I'm currently looking at houses to buy, and with each potential house come different remodel challenges. And at different price points, each potential house leaves me with a different budget to bring the home up to meet my family's needs. Not only does Moe have the ability to assess the limitations of any given situation, but he was also able to listen to my desires (from both functional and design standpoints) and offer other suggestions (that hadn't even occurred to me!) that could serve my purpose, while staying within the set physical and budgetary confines. Further, Moe shows up as an ally, not just a contractor. He suggested I look at sales comps to try to ascertain what the price point of selling a fully remodeled house in the area would be, because he didn't want to see me invest so much money in a remodel that would mean I had to take a loss when I sell the house. What other contractor does that??? He's a gem of a person, and he knows his stuff. Highly recommend!

We highly recommend Moe as an architect and designer to renovate your dream home. My husband and I hired Moe to redesign on our 1.5 story home, originally built in 1970. Moe's creativity and attention to every detail in his design shines through on everything he touches and he came up with many extremely creative uses of space in our new design. From creating a seamless transition from our living room to a new back patio, to a redesigned modern master suite, creating an open concept living space and even creating a new bathroom on our second floor without detracting from any existing living space, Moe uses his skillset and experience to design what the customer wants and needs. Moe is also very visual and ensures that all of his designs from cabinet design in a kitchen to lighting plans throughout the house are aesthetically pleasing. Most importantly, Moe is very easy to work with and always makes himself available to meet every customer need. We would gladly work with Moe again!

I highly recommend Moe as a general contractor. My husband and I hired Moe to renovate a two-story 1970s home for us in 2017. As first-time homeowners and renovators, we are incredibly thankful to have had Moe help us and would hire him again in a heartbeat (and we did just this when we had him come back to update a bathroom that was left untouched in the prior renovation).
