Based on neighbor's recommendations, we went with McWhorter construction to replace our deck last fall- and were not disappointed. Travis and his crew did a great job. They were professional, easy to work with, cleaned up each day and best of all our new deck looks great. Ryan had some great ideas on how to save some money on materials without sacrificing quality. We are looking forward to enjoying it once the snow melts! I highly recommend McWhorter construction for your next project.

McWhorter Construction is everything a construction company should be! Thank you Ryan. Our new front porch is beautiful, and the entire process was seamless. Travis and his crew of Edwin, Roberto, and Rudy are not only talented carpenters and very professional, they are also the nicest people you could meet. Their workmanship was top notch. Travis addressed every detail we discussed and found a solution, no detail was too small. We couldn’t be happier.

My wife and I contracted with McWhorter Construction after a long decision making period to construct a screen enclosed porch in our backyard and a new (replacement) front porch. I was skeptical because I thought the price was a little high. They started work on the back porch when we were away for a week in the summer. When we came back, I looked over ALL the work they had done. I was impressed. EVERYTHING they did was perfect. I couldn't believe how all the corners matched with no gaps. The footers were aligned without any offset. Then, when they constructed the roof, which required going into our house and removing one skylight, I thought for sure something would go wrong. Nothing was wrong. Again, I was impressed. Travis, the project manager, and his crew of Edwin, Darwin, and Roberto were FANTASTIC. There are not enough superlatives to reflect how pleased we are with this job. The one bad part is that because the screened porch area looks so good, we have to make our back yard look nice to match the beauty of the porch. Turns out the price was not high at all. Ryan and his team designed and built the perfect Azec Deck and screen porch- and completed the project at a budget more competitive than any of the other bids we received. They were very easy to work with,and listened carefully to all of our desires, incorporating each into the final design. The process went extremely smoothly- the best of any building project we have ever done- the occasional changes were handled very well and with the team was very responsive to our questions and suggestions. We cannot say enough about how much we appreciate their attention to detail and quality work- and the clean up done each day. McWhorter Outdoor Living, designed and built a 20' by 20' addition on the back of our house, complete with gas fireplace and outside deck. They also replaced our old roof. Ryan and his staff were a pleasure to work with--professional, punctual, very knowledgable and flexible. Our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner. We love our addition!

After interviewing many screened porch contractors we selected Ryan of McWhorter Outdoor Living because we felt he really understood our needs, used the products we were comfortable with and he had our greatest confidence. McWhorter Outdoor removed our old deck and built a beautiful screen porch for us. The porch was painted to match our house color, and the screens are completely removable for repairs!
