We remodeled our master bath. Craig helped us every step of the way. He created a custom design that allowed us to get the most value from our investment. His project management kept the project on time and on budget. His trades were great to work with and produced high quality work.

Kathy and I were ecstatic over the results of our remodeled kitchen. A lot went on during the process but Craig kept us well informed so we never had any surprises. He was the consummate professional, very knowledgeable, and was focused on quality work. Of the few things that didn't meet his standards (which we would never have known), he immediately brought them to our attention and had it corrected. He came in under budget, and even though a few days longer, that was due to his attention to detail. If we remodel any other parts of the house he will be the first we call. We are very please with the work Craig and his Alair team did for us on our kitchen remodel. It was a big deal for us - customers cabinets, hard wood floors, quartz countertops and new appliances. Craig and his team were wonderful to work with in our bathroom remodel. Everything was clear and well-planned. Most of it was budgeted ahead of time. The unknowns were laid out and estimated ahead of time, and there were no surprises during the process. The project took the time they said it would, at the cost they said it would, with respect for our living space and wishes. This was the best experience I've had with any contractor ever.

The work on our project involved extensive remodeling of an existing old farm house plus addition of a large family room and two car garage with second floor storage room. Also included was new siding and new metal roof for the existing house. The project was a challenge because of the irregular sizes, angles and construction of the older portion of the house. The house has a very rustic style with all wood floors, raw wood paneling and large wood open beams in several rooms. The contractor worked diligently to find sources of materials to match these styles in the new additions. The actual costs mapped closely to the very detailed initial budget presented to us at the start of the project. We made requests for modifications as the project progressed. The contractor presented us with options that would fit the overall design, the relative costs and timelines. All changes to the project costs were thoroughly researched, discussed and agreed so we received no surprises. The contactor or his assistant were present on the site daily to direct the work. Alair Homes did a superior job on the work and in making this large project totally painless.

I have had the pleasure of working with Craig Carter and Alair Homes on several of my projects. Craig is a very conscientious person and relates well with his clients. craig carter did a wonderful job building my screen porch. every time something is done to the porch he checks to make sure it is done correctly. he is hands on. and he made it easy to pick out building materials. i love my porch!

Craig was great to work with. The process from beginning to end was professional, priced well, and all of the subcontractors were great. The project is scoped out at the very beginning and the budget is put together. The homeowner approves each piece of the budget electronically. As pricing is firmed up with suppliers, the budget is replaced with actual numbers so you know what it's costing every step of the way. Craig's attention to detail was amazing. He was there everyday throughout the project. We didn't have to settle for just any subcontractor either. If one came in higher than Craig thought was appropriate, he brought in others to bid on the project. That was especially nice because in the grand scheme of things our project was relatively small and not all subs want to take small jobs. I was never uncomfortable with any of the workers being in my house while I was at work. I highly recommend Alair Homes Greensboro and Craig Carter!

Craig and his team did a fantastic job remodeling our Kitchen and Half Bath. The options he presented were well thought out and presented with our budget in mind. We opted to reface our cabinets as the boxes were still in good shape. Many of our neighbors did not believe the cabinets were refaced the craftsmanship was that good. Our next project will be a Master Bedroom/Master Bath remodel. Revolution will be the first call we make.

His design professional Anna met with us to plan the details of the project and took us to various suppliers to select the materials: quartz countertops, tile back splash, Adorne under cabinet lighting system, high quality cherry cabinets and other features. The team gutted our old kitchen and installed a beautiful new one. The product quality and workmanship was outstanding.
