Robare Custom Homes is a custom home builder in San Antonio, TX, established in 1998 by Mike Robare along with his wife Linda. Robare Custom Homes has been one of San Antonio's leading custom homebuilders from its inception. Our team consists of over seventy five years of design and construction experience in the custom residential and small commercial market segments. Integrity in business is at the heart of Robare Custom Home's mantra and with that the entire team strives to build beautiful custom homes with indisputable quality and distinction. The quality and consistency of Robare Custom Homes has been recognized by our peers and customers alike, as exemplified in our awards and testimonials. One of our proudest moments was being honored in 2005 with a Presidential Citation from the Builders Association for our donation of the park rangers' quarters at Government Canyon State National Area located in northwest Bexar County. Mike has been certified and has achieved the following designations: Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS/ADA), Certified Green Professional (CGP), and in 2008 Mike achieved the most prestigious and highest level of builder certification that the National Association of Home Builders offers and one of a select few in the United States, Graduate Master Builder.

Unfortunately, we have recently had bad experience with Mike Robare. We built our home with UBuild-It in 2012. He was listed as the general contractor with Prestige Custom Homes. Prestige Custom Homes issued our warranty. We are currently having foundation issues which is covered by the warranty. My husband tried for a month (phone calls and emails) to get in touch with Mr. Robare and was ignored. We can't even get a conversation with him. Beware of doing business with Mr. Robare - if he changes companies, he will not honor previous warranties. We are not impressed with his integrity or his ability to do what's right.

We recently had our home built by the Robare Custom Home Team. We spent many, many hours researching and meeting with builders in the San Antonio area. We were looking for a builder who had the "home look" we were seeking and who we felt we could trust to guide us through the process. Mike Robare said during our initial meetings that he wants to have an experience with his clients where later after our home is built and we see each other at HEB, we're happy to see each other. We feel this way about the entire Robare Team! We initiated the building of our home pre-Covid and finished during Covid. It was a scary time, however, the Robare Team lead us through to completion! Our home has unique features that we attribute to some great advice that we received from Mike and our very talented interior designer. Blaine from the Robare Team was always available during the building process and after we moved in. Blaine always took the time to visit as needed and sit down for longer conversations. Blaine was always there and delivered stellar, immediate customer service. Building a home is a long process and investment , the Robare Team will support you throughout the journey and you'll enjoy laughs along the way!

RCH exceeded our expectations. From the office staff, to the vendors, to the architect (Richardo), to the project manager (Blaine), to Mike, himself, were all helpful, considerate, professional, and knowledgeable in the entire build process. Mike was very hands-on and helpful and really was involved. With Mike Robare you will have great builder with great ethics and a great team standing besides him. Blaine was incredible! Always accessible, respectful and incredibly professional! He went over and beyond what most projects managers do. He was on the job site daily and made sure it was secured EVERY night. He kept the schedule moving without any delays. Blaine is a very patient, hard-working, wonderful person. We are grateful to RCH making our dreams come true!

Mike Robare and his team have proved to be more than we could have asked for in a home builder. This is our first experience in building a true custom home where we've chosen everything from appliances to windows (I couldn't think of anything to begin with "z"). We've built other homes where we had a list of several items for our choices, but this is a completely different process with no boundaries in what you can choose. Mike's team has guided us through the design phase and selections with their many years of experience, and now the results are spectacular. Our dream home is even more beautiful than we could have imagined. I know this home will be a gathering place of happy times, and will also be a retreat to peaceful rest and relaxation. We highly recommend Robare Custom Homes and his outstanding team.

I've watched him interact with his homeowners and he is always respectful and considerate in dealing with them as well as me. He allows me creative freedom, while communicating what he expects in each photo shoot. Mike is a great guy to work with.

We interviewed eight other builders before selecting Mike. We were totally impressed with his process and past work, not to mention his great energy and personal involvement. As the building has progressed, we couldn't be happier. His work is outstanding and his team is amazing. Throughout our build, the whole team's involvement has been exceptional. Their experience, dedication and insight has been a cornerstone of the process as we all move to completion of our dream home. We highly recommend Robare Custom Homes for your next build.

Mike and Blaine were on top of our project. They were both very professional, offered great advice and dealt with any issues that often come up when building a new home in a timely manner. Mike Robare is well liked in the community so we were comfortable when he offered decision changes that were to our benefit. Although building a custom home can be stressful I would definitely hire Robare Custom homes again if we were to ever built another home. At the present we love our home and plan on living here for a while. most proud owners, Gloria and Manuel Trevino Jr
