Craig and his team made building our home so easy!!! This is our third new home build and we had no stress or issues. He is extremely professional and very responsive to all our questions and concerns. I have already referred several friends and family to him and would diffidently recommend Ross Builders.

We recently worked with Craig Ross on a home build in Hinsdale. After hearing horror stories about building, we were not sure what to expect. As far as Craig goes, he made the process as smooth as possible. Tradesmen/vendors were scheduled back to back or simultaneously with no waiting or wondering why on one was working. It's a good feeling to check in daily and see half a dozen or more people working to get your house to completion in a timely manner. He comes from generations of craftsmen and knows what he's talking about when it comes to any trade - foundation, plumbing, framing, electrical, etc...so you're never going to hear that 'I'm not sure, let me ask my guy'. Additionally, he was helpful with design and aesthetic questions as they would arise. If I were to build another house in the western suburbs, there's no question that I would go with Ross again.

We couldn’t be happier with our home. Craig Ross and his staff were the most accommodating, knowledgeable, and experienced building crew to work with. We most definitely would build again with Craig, and highly recommend Ross Builders to anyone starting a new home project.

I can’t express enough how Craig and his team made building our first home as stress free as possible. Craig was also accessible and highly organized. We finished the project ahead of schedule, and stayed very close to budget. The house is as solid as a rock and Craig was meticulous with each and every detail. We recently bought a home in Hinsdale built by Ross Builders, and are pleased that we did. We had looked at nearly every new construction house in the area over a 6-month period (toured over 30) from several Hinsdale builders, so we really got to understand the quality of workmanship in the builders at each price point. Unfortunately, while Hinsdale is a top rate community, the level of workmanship does vary quite a bit in the same price range. However, Craig without question, provided a great home at a great value with exceptional workmanship and quality. Of course, if money is no object any builder will provide what you are looking for. But Craig delivers without question the most bang for the buck. It was also fantastic working with Craig (and his dad who was a builder) who is organized, responsive, and detailed oriented. Fortunately, we haven't had many issues, but the small punch list of items we did have was quickly followed up and completed, without any haggling or nickel and diming. If you are looking for a first-class builder, I would encourage you to meet with Craig or tour one of his homes.

We recently completed our dream-home build process with Ross Builders and we couldn’t be more pleased with the final results. Craig helped us build an amazingly beautiful and quality home! He helped every step of the way giving 110% each day on the long and extremely detailed project no matter what the issue of the day was that needed to get worked out. We couldn’t have asked for a more detailed, responsive, organized or knowledgeable builder to trust with our time and money on such a large project. He was there to guide us every step of the way and always made time to listen to our needs and questions large and small. He is very straightforward with his advice and has excellent subcontractors. We would highly recommend Ross Builders to anyone looking to build a quality custom home!

Ross Builders is a great partner to work with. We recently completed a large copper gutter job on a project in Elmhurst. You can see the quality of workmanship for the entire project by all the trades. It was a high end quality Custom Home. Craig obviously cares for his customers, and it shows in the quality of work!

This recommendation is long overdue, but well deserved. My husband and I did extensive research figuring where we were going to live with our growing family. After realizing that the city no longer worked for our family's lifestyle, we apprehensively decided to make the big jump from Chicago city life to the Western suburbs. Through a friend of ours and independent of Craig, we toured a house he had built and we really appreciated his work and craftsmanship. From there, we found one of his lots for tear down and to build our new home. Craig helped us from start to finish. He was always timely, cordial, and responsive to all of our repetitive and minute questions. I've heard stories about people working with other builders and their experiences greatly differed. In their instances, the builders would never listen and would always nod off the wives/women and only speak to the husbands. Craig worked very closely with both of us, was very respectful of my opinions, and understood that I was going to make a majority of the decisions during the building process. In additional to being 9 months pregnant with #2 at the time of the tear down, I was in denial of moving to the burbs and begrudgingly picked out building materials and finishes without help from a designer. Craig kept us on schedule and provided us with necessary and immediate feedback. Even though he says he's no designer, Craig has impeccable taste and has a wealth of knowledge. He's a great resource and pays great attention to detail. I relied heavily on his opinion and experience for many decisions. Our home was actually finished 2 weeks ahead of what we anticipated to boot. After our final walk through and moving into our new home in August, Craig still worked with his contractors to finish up on minor details to make sure we were 100% satisfied. From minor paint touch ups, to defective faucets, he coordinated quickly to make sure everything was in working order. You can never fully appreciate all of the decisions to be made when building a home if you've haven't built one. Though this was our first custom home (and last,) I can confidently say that Craig made it a wonderful experience. Now we have a home we love and are proud of. I would highly recommend Craig if this is your first build and would use him again if we ever decided to build again.

Craig Ross delivers beautiful homes with incredible attention to detail! As a subcontractor (Closet Furnishings), Craig is a professional and a pleasure to work with, and his projects are well organized and kept in ship-shape throughout the building process. I always look forward to working with Craig and his clients!

We built our house with Ross Builders a year and a half ago and I still rave about Craig Ross. We were so happy with the entire building process because Craig is incredibly professional, smart, knowledgeable and detail-oriented. Despite a lot of indecision on my part, he was always patient with me and provided excellent direction and advice. He knows all things house related - from basic to construction to high style design - and was able to answer all of our questions throughout the process. He knows what works and what doesn't and what will look good and what won't. To say that Craig is detail-oriented is an understatement. Despite all the moving pieces, he was able to keep track of and remember everything we talked about, decided on, change, etc. I honestly couldn't believe it. In addition, he was so responsive. I never had to wait very long to hear back from him on any questions I had. He always emailed back same day if not within minutes. When building a house, it can be pretty overwhelming but Craig made me feel like he was right there with me the entire time and always reassured me that it was going to look great. To that point, he always made great suggestions and recommendations, all of which we were incredibly happy with. He made us think outside the box on a lot of aspects to make sure our house was unique and unlike any other house I've seen...and it is! Lastly, we completed the house in a very timely manner. He was honest about how long it would take and he was right therefore our expectations were met. All in all, I love my house and it's because of Craig. He is an A+ builder, person and friend. He's smart, honest, straightforward, reliable and he builds great houses - the most beautiful houses in our town. If I had to do it again, it would only be with Ross Builders.
