I hired HPD (Heidi Palena Design) for 2 separate interior projects in my house and have been very pleased with both of them. Heidi is fully committed to her work and to my needs and desires while maintaining an overall cohesive plan on a design theme. She listened and made changes when and where needed. Communication with her was always excellent and highly responsive. Lastly, the quality of workmanship from her crews and materials selected were of very high quality. I highly recommend HPD.

10/10! Highly recommend Heidi for her attention to detail, consideration for functional use of the space available and her professionalism. We had the most restrictive kitchen space and she designed a solution that exceeded our expectations. Our project wrapped 2+ months ago and we still haven’t filled the space she created for us in our kitchen. She also worked hard to keep us in budget, including her design fee. She has an amazing team she regularly works with and all were excellent. Highly recommend! Will definitely consult her and her team again for future projects.

She brings samples to you. Heidi's selections help you create a cohesive look that makes your home flow from one area to the next. Her finishing touches were thoughtfully selected and brought our home to life. We cannot believe we live here, and we thought we had a pretty kick-ass house to begin with!

We are thrilled with our new space! Not only does Heidi have a brilliant aesthetic and design knowledge, she is full of great tips that made our home remodel family friendly, cost effective, and look and feel high-end. When we decided to update the whole house, I knew I would need a professional decorator. By a stroke of luck I met Heidi. From the first moment I knew I was in good hands. Heidi has great vision as well as great insight. I did not know exactly what I wanted and yet everything Heidi suggested was absolutely perfect for me and the overall look of the house. She was helpful with every single step of the process and made it all painless. I love my new home and love to show it off. All my guests are amazed at the transformation and ask for Heidi's card. I cannot say enough good things about Heidi.

Heidi just finished a medispa build out for us in north Vancouver. She was on site measuring and appreciating the space well before anyone else and took measurements to always be precise in the information as the plan was evolving. She was often the only one who we could trust had thought carefully through a proposal before we would meet to discuss it. Heidi was constantly in touch by text or call and took time to address our concerns very quickly, no matter what she had going with other jobs. Heidi was able to handle communications with many contractors that were a bit challenging. She helped us stay within our budget. She is also knowledgeable in terms of the scopes of each aspect (e.g. electrical, cabinetry, plumbing, etc.) which helped the job flow and our understanding of how things could get accomplished. Our job in particular was delayed by Clark County permitting, the previous tenants not getting out on schedule and other road bump which are expected. She helped to expedite whenever possible. Heidi is very skilled in finding just the right finishes and is quickly on the hunt sourcing what is needed to complete each space. She was able to meld the tastes of both my business partner and mine (though we are almost 20 years apart in age) and the result is stunning and we are happy and comfortable with no regrets. We are fortunate to now have a long term relationship with Heidi, since I feel once we are her clients, she will always have us in the back of her mind with some of her good ideas for our space. She is fantastic.

Heidi was recommended to me by a friend that had hired her to help with a design refresher on their home. I was moving my office and had a blank slate to work with. I am not good with design/colours/etc - so I contacted Heidi. She did an amazing job and was very reasonable with the furnishings and decor that she found.
