Koren Owens Design is a Los Angeles–based interior design studio known for creating layered, art-forward residential interiors that balance sophistication with personality. Founder Koren Owens approaches design with a collector’s eye, blending vintage finds, custom pieces, and thoughtful architectural details to create spaces that feel curated rather than decorated. Koren’s path to interior design began unexpectedly. While studying culinary arts, she realized her true creative passion lay not in the kitchen but in the world of texture, materials, and interiors. She soon transitioned into design and was mentored by the acclaimed Ruthie Sommers of Chapman Radcliff, where she refined her distinctive aesthetic and developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, antiques, and thoughtful composition. Today, Koren Owens Design works on residential projects throughout Los Angeles and beyond, collaborating closely with clients, architects, and builders to create homes that are both beautiful and deeply personal. Koren is known for her ability to mix vintage and contemporary pieces, rich textures, and carefully curated artwork to create interiors that feel timeless yet expressive.
