Sheila has managed two renovations for us. The first was the rejuvenation an old bathroom and the second was to create a warm & comfortable family room from a partially finished basement. Sheila quickly understands the needs, budget, and design preferences of her client and works within those parameters. She is an excellent project manager keeping the client informed and managing their expectations. She monitors quality closely and addresses any issues/concerns promptly and professionally. We are thrilled with our renovated spaces. Both are absolutely perfect for us. We look forward to working with Sheila on our next project.

We moved into our condo just before Covid hit. There were many things that had to be co-ordinated, bought and set up and we felt we needed someone with a good eye for what would work in this new setting for us. Sheila was great. She arranged for someone to hang pictures and mirrors professionally. She found a place for everything and advised us how to set up the furniture we already had and what she felt we still needed. Her advice on fabric reupholstering and colours was just right. We very much appreciated her input and would not hesitate to recommend her to others who are looking for guidance renovating or setting up a new home.

What do you do when you are faced with an unexpected move, short time frame, large renovation, and budget constraints? In our case we had the great fortune to be referred to Sheila Singer. We spoke to two previous clients, viewed her work and hired her for the project. In addition to liking what we saw and heard, both clients considered Sheila a friend when the work was complete. Sheila began the process by coming to our home to get a sense of our style, discuss budget and to help us decide what to bring to our new condo. She listened to what we wanted, helped us prioritize and developed a plan. She has an excellent sense of space and encouraged us to keep furnishings we liked and showed us how adapt them to our new home including altering rugs and building in our large screen TV. Sheila hired the contractor, established a time line and helped organize the trades. She was invaluable in providing advice on everything from paint colours, tiles and other flooring, lighting, hardware, cabinet design, furniture layout and the hanging of art. She was willing to do whatever it took, even when that meant being at the tile distributor at opening, to pick up extra tiles or driving to every part of the GT to source materials. She was professional, accessible and reliable. When we encountered unexpected issues that threatened to disrupt our timeline and budget, Sheila remained calm and positive while simultaneously taking charge and orchestrating what needed to be done. She was onsite almost daily staying on top of things and problem solving as needed. Most importantly she was the Ying to my Yang, calm when I was anxious and assured when I was uncertain. She helped me to move a little outside my comfort zone and the result is a comfortable, beautiful and livable space, completed within budget and timeline, in spite of unforeseen glitches. Minor finishing touches were interrupted by the onset of Covid-19 shutdowns but then completed at the earliest possible time. We could never have managed this project on our own and I am happy to say that at the end of it, I consider Sheila a friend and would unreservedly recommend her services.

It has been a wonderful experience working with Sheila. I first met Sheila about 2 ½ years ago when we had just sold our house and we were about to move into a condo. Sheila came with us to our condo and then helped us decide what to bring to the new condo and what not to bring. She then helped us go through the furniture we were going to keep and described how we could adapt it to our new apartment. We had our bedroom set painted, our dining room chairs recovered, our living room chairs recovered and our dining room buffet modernized. Sheila figured out what our tastes were, and our budget, and guided us through the whole process with her expert taste, knowledge and her warm and friendly manner. She helped us choose paint colours for the new condo, designed and arranged the building of custom wall units in three rooms, helped us choose art, carpets and drapes and bedding When the process was all done, everyone who visited said the condo looked like it came out of a magazine! Now we are going to use Sheila again to design another built in wall unit. Her taste is impeccable, she is warm and friendly, she works diligently and in a timely fashion.Knowing and working with Sheila has been a blessing.

Sheila is an amazing decorator. She was very professional, she was respectful of my price point and she did an amazing job. Sheila is very creative and she was able to work well in the space and make it seem so much homier and larger. I would for sure use her again and would recommend her to anyone who needs someone with a keen eye to improve his/her living space.

We hired Sheila to complete 2 jobs - one was to stage a condo for sale and handle the renovations and decorating of the new condo, for my sister, and the other was to help accessorize my living room and select new paint colours for our house. She did an outstanding job in both cases. She managed the condo project to a very tight budget with amazing results, and was very diligent in overseeing the contractor. Her taste is amazing - and she is great at creating a new look while incorporating existing furniture or accessories. Her great personality makes her a pleasure to work with. I have previously worked with other decorators,and Sheila is one of the best!

This year I sold my home and purchased a condo.Needless to say,There was much to do.Sheila came to my rescue as I needed help in deciding what to keep,what to get rid of and what to buy.The condo needed lots of work!!Sheila found the trades, worked within my budget limitations.She made sure that work was done properly and within the proposed timelines.Sheila researched the best places to shop and took care of the entire project as I was away for several months.
