Currently, the firm is undertaking a range of projects in Toronto, Manila, New York and New Jersey. Founder Danilo Baluyot has over 30 years of progressive experience working with clients in variety of areas of design. As such, he is able to lead the company to success through innovation and adaptation, seeking to collaborate with clients and create a space they can truly treasure. Sani did the interior of our townhouse almost 20 years ago. It was not a big but it was our first-owned home. He did a fantastic job and we maintained his original design and style for so many years. I believe the Philippines is too small for someone with a talent and skill like Sani. And is happy to know that he is making his mark in a bigger market like Canada. The Design Proposal is very professional and has a flexible design aesthetic. We have done a couple of residential and our offices with them. I find that their strong grasp of colour theory and balance appeals to my aesthetic. I myself have come from an art degree but would prefer to trust my living spaces with this team. I hope to work with them again soon in my new home in London.

I am looking forward to get Danilo’s ideas again. First time, 12 years ago, he made my open concept living-dining-kitchens rooms in a new house look gorgeous. It seemed he had a vision from the very first time he saw the place. Wall colours, furniture arrangements, curtains, rugs, lighting, decorative items - all scaled well, work together in harmony without pretentiousness. The design proposal team is very easy to work with. They present you with ideas which you can’t really say no to. Not because you want to say no but because there’s no point. They presented an initial design which everyone loved. What’s good about them is they assist you in every step of the way. Picking out furniture, materials, etc. they also tell you where to go to get the items you’re looking for. Although their boss is not in the Philippines, his local design team was very hands on and reports to him immediately so it feels like he is also here. It’s easy to talk to him and he’s approachable and very reachable(despite the time difference)He will answer all your queries and he makes you feel at ease. We couldn’t think of any other company to help us design our office and even our homes.
